Thanks for doing this video. I just returned a pair of brunt marins and plan to grab a pair or irish setter ashbys once I get my refund. The marins were comfortable but too clunky and had a very strong chemical smell. Ashbys will be much better

my experience. i went double ee for my normal boot size, still a little narrow, but no pain, i switched to smaller socks, and thinking about changing out the insole to smaller ones. its my first steel toe, had to get it for work, still getting used to it. i'm thinking for most people to play it safe in steel toe to get your regular sneaker size and just go wide, and if its too big just wear big socks lol

This treatment didn't work on you, maybe because you used the same boots you've been using before treatment. You should changed your work shoes at the dame time you started your foot treatment. This is because your old shoes are already infected with athletes foot. Good luck 👍

I had a stubborn toenail fungus and none of the topical meds worked. I really didn't want to take pills so I tried every home remedy I came across. A diluted bleach soak is what worked for me. I remember soaking and then filing the nails and dead skin down the first time. A couple weeks later, I filed my toenails and removed any dead skin and then soaked. I repeated this about a month later. It never came back. I've also heard that bathroom tile cleaner will work too, but it has to be the kind that kills fungus. Btw, all this stuff is very drying but its not a daily thing.

I just bought a pair today at a local shoe store. I put them in a couple of Dr Martens. They are sooo comfortable. I used Superfeet but these feel better. I had to size down. I bought the ones for ball of foot pain.

I like the effect mink oil paste has on suede. Hardens it some and gives it a shine without the skin texture of normal leather. My suede wallet has gotten to the point it heals scratches just by putting it in and out of my pocket. Does darken, but it's worth the trade off imo. Thanks for the video!

After soaking feet in 3% hydrogen peroxide, rinse and dry. Then, wipe one foot with povidine iodine, using a flat cotton cosmetic pad. Drive iodine under nails and between toes. While the iodine is still wet, put your foot in a shoebox full of borax powder ( borax available at grocery and hardware stores) . Leave foot in the box while you cover the second foot in povidine iodine. Shake off excess borax and put on sock that was either washed with bleach or washed in at least 140-degree temperature water. Repeat with other feet. Do this every morning. In the evening, cover feet in either clove or tea tree oil and put on fresh socks. The hydrogen peroxide only kills off some of the fungus, and will set you up for worse problems if used alone. It will definitely soften the skin so the iodine and borax can penetrate. The recommended course of treatment using the strongest RX is one year. So eradicating this problem even with an RX is a long-term commitment. You will get excellent results with this home remedy. It is important to continue for a month or so once all visible signs of fungus have disappeared. Then begin a step-down regime like every other day, or skip the weekends. It is very important to never ever wear the same boots/shoes more than 1 day. Then, rotate to another. The boots should be blasted with a hot hairdryer at the end of each day and, if possible, set in the sun. For toe fungus, it might be necessary to LIGHTLY sand the top half of each affected nail so the 3% hydrogen and the iodine will penetrate. Nail fungus may require cutting a flat cotton cosmetic pad to the exact size of the affected nail, and putting a few drops of 2% lugol's iodine (available on Amazon) on the cotton and then tape in place so it has all day to penetrate. Nail will turn orange, and that is a good sign that it is penetrating the nail. DO NOT put 2% iodine on skin, only povidine iodine, which has glycerine to keep the skin from drying out and getting damaged. The reason this is so hard to treat is the presence of bio-film in the body. Start each day with 1/2 lemon squeezed into a cup of hot water (throw in the rind) OR 1 tsp. of apply cider vinegar in a cup of warm water first thing in the morning to start breaking down bio-film, systemically. Lay off of sugar and sweetened drinks. Starting brewing Hibiscus tea (buy in bulk on Amazon). Delicious. If you need a sweetener use honey or Stevia. Corn syrup and sugar are inflammatory and promote to growth of biofilms and fungus. If you can't commit to every part of this protocol don't waste your time. There is no easy fix and you must permanently commit to living a healthier life, or it will come back. Research bio-film disruptor supplements.

For those that don’t know, IF you use mink oil paste on suede or leather, IT WILL DARKEN THE SHOE! I personally like it but most don’t. If you want to draw the mink oil out, cover the shoes with baking soda or cornstarch! Cornstarch is best. After they sit in the cornstarch for a couple of days, simply brush the cornstarch off. Voila. It absorbed all the moisture and returns your shoes to its natural finish. You’re welcome.

A mink oil paste usually contains a significant amount of wax that gives greater water repellency than a liquid.

Bick 4 will not change the color of your leather - because it does absolutely nothing at all. Just pray over your boots. Same result and less money.

Hands off! Keep your hands away from your feet when you have an active infection! Use gloves all the time.

Mink oil darkens leather - either decide you don't mind, or use something else Saphire makes a suede and nubuck conditioner / water proofer.

I’ve had both boots never had one issue quality wise but if I’m being honest Wingshooter is a really warm shoe compared to Ashby I’ve had both numerous times and sometimes I swap to Ashby and it feels like my feet breathe again lol
