I'm sorry my friend but I didn't have the chance to test any of the two models you mention. It seems to me though that the XFR series are exactly the same as the 990 series I cut in half but with the CSA label slammed on them. Just by having a quick look at the two boots you mentioned, the XFR and the 180, I can't seem to see that much of a difference with the exception of the: - XFR higher arch and deeper lugs - XFR comes with the toe cap bumper which is a great feature if you kneel, or crawl a lot. - XFR soles are more resistant to heat than the #180 (300C XFR vs 140C #180) - and lastly, I believe the XFR is roomier than the #180. Better for people with higher arches, flat feet, wide feet, This was a quick analysis on the fly but I hope it helps somehow! Let me know! Adrian
@@BestForMyFeet that was on the fly?! That was awesome brother! Super informative! I appreciate all your research and work you put into your videos, keep em coming!
hey Chris, can't remember from the top of my head but I believe I did said exactly what you said in the review video...but the boots (if I remember correctly) leak if they get too wet. So yeah, the leather was treated to resist a bit of water but the boot is nowhere near as waterproof as a boot that comes with a waterproof membrane for example. Great boot in my experience. Adrian
I really enjoyed this video, the quality and content has definitely gotten better. Looking forward to the next one
Hey, thanks Doug, that's a good sign. I really appreciate it my man 🥾🤜🏼🤛🏼
How does the XFR compare to the original saftey model ? Like the rustic waxy brown model #180

This boot is waterproof, the leather is treated in a way that makes it waterproof or at least very water resistant for some time
