After debating between at least 10 different pairs of work boots I finally decided on trying out these Ashby boots. I have always worn black polished tactical boots for my last job however I no longer need that type of boot and wanted something that will be comfortable and hopefully last a decent time in a warehouse with polished concrete. We shall see and time will tell but just from opening the box and trying them on I am in love with the look and style of them and walking around my house they feel pretty good so far!
@@keagan7348they’re extremely comfortable… i wore Ariats for the longest time and recently, moved to 10.5 hour shifts in a different department that i’m stationary in and my lower back/foot pain was through the roof. found a pair of Ashby’s for $120 and switched out the original insoles woth Dr. Scholls and it feels like i’m wearing house slippers.
@@BestForMyFeet thanks. I just came back from a store called BOOTBARN and I bought a pair of American made Hawx boots. They were on sale from $249.00 down to $139.00, $100 dollar discount. So I'll give them a try and see how the feel.
Thank Clive. Adam says the boots fit pretty true to size and the toe cap is also quite spacious. bestformyfeet.com/irish-setter-wingshooter-st-work-boots-review/#How_do_they_fit
that bottom sole looks very thin after that boot sole wear out it looks like it will go to the cushion which that don't look like it will last very long
That's corect. But like I said in the video how fast the sole gets chewed up it willl depend on your industry. For Adam, it's perfect in the weldimg shop...for me, in construction, not that much. Thanks for your comment👍🏼 Adrian
I am unable to find a welt replacement cobbler, so is it possible to replace the outermost 'rubber outsole' as seen in your video at 4:37-4:43? i could get a vibram sole shipped to me, but it would have to be a kind of peel off, stick on' job at the local cobbler level. Would highly appreciate your revert on this for many of us.
GREAT REVIEW! 😊
Good video. I ordered the Ashby's and they should be here today. 🤙 My friend has always raved about the Irish setters.. this will be my first pair
Well how'd you get on with them?

@@marcobugarin oh that's interesting. I didn't know Hawx are made in the USA. I ope they fit you great my man and they won't hurt your heels.
@@BestForMyFeet thanks, I hope so too. Hawx makes some in the US and some overseas.
Nice!
I'm size 8
Torn between size 8 and 8.5, though.
