damn i dont think my rex could have reached the gear top speed without extending the rev limit higher. Max gear limit was 174ish, ive gotten to like 150-160mph and was near redline already.

Hello! I was wondering, what did you have to do to fit the 1.8 SVT brakes onto your ‘89 NA?? Obviously callipers, carriers, discs and pads.. but i’ve heard you need the SVT master cylinder, plus different brake lines and some kind of T juntion or something?

there is no way even with the gearset this car would go 175 in my opinion. I owned a 2002 built 1.9L turbo miata that made 292 whp and like 287 wtq and there is no way I could see it pulling all the way up there. Time to take this bad boy to a strip and find out :)

I actually do have a pair of snap ring pliers the can remove the rings from way down in there got them at harbor freight here on the United States the pliers have different fittings to change the ends of them ( GEARWRENCH Double-X External Snap Ring Pliers - 82033 this are what they are

I did mine, forgot to put the upper pivot ball on. Had to pull off the rubber thing praying it wouldnt snap. Easiest way i found was to turn it inside out and it should slip off...

I just did the rebuild kit in my 04 Miata. There was nothing left of the original poly center bushing when I took it apart. I used a brass bushing as well. It's just soo tight and perfect now!
