Where are u guys out of??
Saint Petersburg, FL
Quick question. I have a Yoshi exhaust on my 23 gsxr 1k and it’s got a crazy lope. Between 1000-1200 rpm at idle. I have an ECU flash for everything. Is it normal to get this fluctuation at idle? I really don’t want my bike to be messed up!
Is the diameter of the headers bigger than the original headers?
Are you using Woolich to tune this 10R? And if yes, do you unify the cylinders or tune per cylinder?? Any benefit by tuning each cylinder?? Have you tried that yet??
Do they have the full exhaust for the kawasaki z900rs 2023 model ? If so can you send the link please 🙏 great video
🥷🏍💭🦾
ET?
Incredible build man, tough luck on the second run with the bike shutting down, but still what an awesome machine 👍
Supposed to put a air shifter on these bikes, not a quick shifter lol
Another excellent video. Can you please explain why more aggressively geared bikes make less top end power?
That's bad numbers
Jesus really? How can someone ride a liter bike and not know how to clean a wheel or adjust a chain.
Came from dealer with this tension and rode up from a rain storm....hence some of the spit up on the tire. Relax. ✌️
Some people know we adjust the chain tension and clean up the rear when doing so. We don't mind doing it for our clients while we are flashing/tuning the bike. 👍
Love the R1M. Yamahas are very reliable!
Did you guys sir always pulled in 4th gear?
Not always but majority of the time we are doing 4th or 5th gear pulls.
Loose because the rear axle isn't installed?
Axle is there, it’s hollow!
Rear axle is in. They are hollow as Jared pointed out 🤙
Sick! Nice pass
The R1M is just a glorious sounding machine and looking machine the quality of the paint work and finish is top notch
Glorious at throwing rods through the block
They really are a work of art. Such beautiful bikes 🙌
Anyone knows the power it put out?
All the numbers are posted at the end of the video
Bike is sick. Nothing wrong with it at all. Great work as always!
Thank you 💪🙏
MT 09 2021 owner here, i have a question... Could i get a slip on and de cat all the way to the headers, in other words, make a custom exhaust on stock headers? If can do i need a tune, or leave as be... Just wanna better sound and don't wanna waste 1500+ on full system
Nice 👍👍👍 Outspokentiger won a lot of races on his R1M
My Zx14r has 50xxx miles. This is a over reving, low oil, or tuning issue.
Hello Eric , what is your email please I want to contact with you about my ecu thanks👍🏻
I thought the ZX14 Ninja was already 197HP stock ?
Usually when you see online posts bragging about ho numbers they are being measured to the crank and not to the wheel. 👍👍 Also keep in mind, every dyno reads a little differently too. It's always best to compare baseline numbers to final numbers! You want to look at the difference to see your gains.
@provenpowercycles Maybe it was from the crank. It was a Kawasaki add when they first created the ZX14. Claiming 190hp to beat the then 170hp Suzuki Hayabusa.
my 06 14 did literally the same thing lol chunks of rod managed to pick up a new crankshaft in the midst of trying to fix it, ended up doing a full motor swap, still got that extra crank if your interested
Does it have forged internals?
Shit I spent like $1,500 total for my Akropovic full exhaust. I still need to get it on a Dyno and tuned
Goodluck finding cases. tough one.
Def been a difficult one to find! At least a good set lol
hell if you want to make a video with my bike for a free tune, I'm down to trailer it to FL for a few days in the sun with the wife lol. You can test stacks, filters, and whatever else within reason. it's a '24 that should be delivered tomorrow, so it will need some break in miles.
Love the ZX-14/14R content, i absolutely dont get it, i have owned several 14’s & 14R’s and have logged 1000’s of miles on them & not once ever had an engine issue, these owners must be point blank using & abusing these things whilst doing 0 maintenance to them.
Very well done with the rebuild on the 750, bravo!!!! Also it was dope to hear you say it rode good because you guys test road it. Curious question, do you guys test ride all the bikes you tune? I understand the 750 is a different case being it was a complete rebuild from the ground up. What I’m pointing to is what you stated earlier in the video in that alot of tuners don’t tune for rideability but for quick acceleration. I’ve seen shops that are very adamant about not riding customer bikes, but to that I ask how do you know if the tune is adequate understanding the dyno is a tool, and the real world mixed with riding styles can be vastly different. This is not me throwing shots or trying to be disrespectful in any way. Eric you spoke of the tuning aspect earlier in the video which I’ve seen on FB a topic that’s been going around. Just wanted to hear your take on the matter.
We do not test ride every bike we work on/tune but some we will to make sure everything is as good as we can get it without putting a ton of miles on it. As far as the bikes Eric tunes then releases them, he ALWAYS tells the customers at the end, "If you have any issues, questions, or concerns about the bike, how it rides, future mods, etc, then please reach out to us and let us know!" We stand behind our product 100%! All in all he's been tuning for roughly 10 years now and understands (after a thorough consultation with customer), what they are looking for out of the tune. Each one is catered to that specific customer based on driving habits, purpose of the bike, and what the main concern of the customer is. Some just want lower fan Temps, some want a full race tune, majority just want it to ride smoother and some added power 🤙
@@provenpowercycles I get it, that’s the professional answer but it’s not answering my question. It’s ok though, I understand liability, keep up the good work.
What did you use to wipe down and clean the wheel?
Not OP but I use break cleaner (the bicycle kind) to do it. I havent looked closely but i use the bicycle stuff just because i feel like its probably less nasty than real breakcleaner. And then just wipe it with hundreds of tissues
@@bjarnehansen1101 thanks man. I’m glad you confirmed it. My buddy told me but he didn’t mention the bicycle kind. I’ll try that.
Believe it or not, we use wd40 to clean them. Takes off dirt and excess wax/lube like a charm 👌 and wd40 is not harmful to the o-rings in the chain. Some of those brake cleaners can create premature wear on the o-rings (not sure on the bicycle kind though to be honest).
@@provenpowercycles I think we are talking about different things - I was just talking about the Bike-Rims - I would not put break cleaner on my chain! :D
Losing 30lbs with the old cans AND getting 180 wheel HP means 200hp at the crank, thing will be a monster, 10K rpm in ANY gear means your going quick no matter what gearing you have. 12s and 14s are all stupidly fast. Would have gone with the 200 / 50 on the back wheel rather than the 190.
Nice bike but I hope they get those forks cut. That looks awful.
Another great video, you guys done great on the stolen gsxr rebuild! Always interested in the ZX14 content and wonder what the weak link is with the #3 cylinder being the common problem? I’m hoping on my 2023 zx14 since I put in the billet oil pump plate and keep the oil level high I won’t have those issues🤞🏻
Why is it always the #3 rod bearing being the issue on the ZX14R? It sounds like a design flaw that Kawasaki hasn't addressed or refuse to acknowledge dating back to MY 2012.
You upgrade the oil system. Also a broken rod is from over reving it.
12hp
Nice job on the gixxer looks nice
All in all we think it came out great! 💪💪
No follow ups?
Customer ended up selling the bike. Too many issues he was dealing with all in all he stated. No worries we are working on a 2022 currently. That vid will be out soon
Any mods
Just the 3/4 exhaust. No other mods are on the bike currently
Love that m4 exhaust !! Best sound
Before foing any mods any new engines needs few thousand miles to settles...poor bike.Doing mods on this piece of art is like painting over Mona Lisa original to make it better.this is non sense. The rider is more important than few more hps.Be blessed ride safe !
Damn. So my stage one ISB is probably at somewhere like 97-98whp based on this video. I wonder if I was dyno tuned if I could hit actually 100 at the wheel. Running an off the shelf tune right now cause I can't find anyone in florida with a fuckin dyno.
Not sure but we also learned more after the vid. We can push it even harder to yield a little more up top !
@provenpowercycles only difference is I'm running GP shorties, but I have a S&S intake, so I'm guesstimating pretty hard. If yall wanna pick mine up and mess around with it for another vid, be my guest lol.
People are willing to travel and put in effort for your services because your shop offers top shelf service, attention to detail, and integrity in tuning. This is the WAY. I am a former professional tuner, been working with wooly since 2014. Your tunes are legit. For a piston stop, you can use a clean rag see, stuff it in there but keep a tail out so you can just grab with a plier and pull out! Easy, always available, never damaged anything. 🧠🙏🫡 💚💚💚
Numbers??
Bike ended up having an issue with fuel system on dyno but we stopped around 240whp. Going to build a custom external fuel system for it instead 🤙
Great job! I am loving the transparency, loving the integrity. Awesome work brother! 🦾👍🫡💚💚💚🥷🏽🐉
We appreciate it bro💪 we are trying to deliver more honest opinions/views on stuff and share our knowledge/journey 🙌
Great vid thanks
Hi, where to start tuning? Do I need to find specialist or is there enough information on the internet? Do you reckon I could try to DIY tune a bike or I will mess it up?
You the man!
We appreciate ya bro ! 🫶🙏
The amount he spent on this you could have bought a new bike
Not everyone wants a new bike. Some people fall in love with a certain make/model/year of particular bikes and want to keep them til the end lol
