I’ve been thinking about buying a 2024 zx6r. If I were to do an air filter, velocity stacks, and tune with y’all how much of a difference HP wise would a decat with a slip on make compared to a full exhaust? I think the highest HP I’ve seen from yall is ~127 (full exhaust, tune, air filter, velo stacks, and sprocket/chain) which is insane. Would a decat and slip on still run in the 120’s if coupled with a DNA air filter and graves velocity stacks? Also how much of a difference does an aftermarket (lighter weight) chain/ sprocket really make performance wise compared to a stock one? I would love to get into the low 130s with the bike. Love the content!
The highest we did get was the 127whp on a setup we did 🤙 that was on 93pump gas. I don't think you will hit low 130s with a slip on system admittedly (maybe in cold weather but not in our typical hot/swampy weather we have in FL lol) I would recommend a full system, air filter, chain and Sprocket kit, velocity stacks, and to top it off a race gas map. Pair that with our special touch, and you will for sure see 130s 🙌
Soi got a 2025 zx6r, i seen your video of tuning a guys zx6r that had a mail in flash, i was just curious if doing an exhaust and pretty much the same stuff you guys did on that bike would give the 2025 the same outcome, idk if they have it limited different
@@provenpowercycles good to know. Even with a tune my 2023 at high rpm’s was like an on off switch and if trying to give a little throttle in a corner was scary.
@Myrussell67 a lot of mail in flashes mess with the etv mapping making the throttle very twitchy and not very fluid like! We see this all the time! We have an 09 R1 in currently with the same problem you are describing and he said he can barely ride it ! We have a fix and it's great 👍 👌
@Myrussell67 I gotcha. If anything I'd reach back out to the tuner then and let them know 👍 a good tuner will listen and try to make appropriate changes to the mapping for you. I would if it were my map and someone complained about something like that. We are all human and every person wants different mapping. It's not a one size fits all kind of trade 👍 but either way, good luck with it 🤙
They look amazing. My only gripe is no blipper.
Stunning machine!!! Absolutely love it! 💚🦾🥷🏽🐉
I love the 90s paint sceam.

Don’t think, just buy. You’ll love it. Trust me. I own one. 👌🏻

You think that Zx6r better ride than a gsxr600? Pure speed in mind. Mods and etc ?
Yes it does look amazing, however if I had the money to spend on one, I would have to buy the Aprilia RS660!!

as a educated guess because i assume no one knows yet because how new it is lol.
Not totally stock.. has the tail tidy 😂
😂😂😂
The only thing I don’t like is the throttle on off feeling that cannot be tuned out.
We have gotten that down to a science 👌 it's definitely not the same as cable style throttle but definitely a night and day difference from factory 🙌

Wasn’t a mail in flash but I get what you are saying.

Reptiles are animals. You should let him go. 😢
We did lol I love all kinds of animals and made sure it was good when we set it free. 💪
