Another awesome Kawasaki video, those zx10’s put down some power! I have a 2023 ZX14R with Brocks Pentacarbon exhaust, spring p08 filter and dyno tuned. Put down 207hp and 122 ft lbs to the tire. Always enjoy your videos, good job as always👍🏻
Eric at the end of these videos you should get the first ride impression from the owner. Have them go ride it when they pick it up and have that camera rolling when they get back.
@_TheChristophe we have been trying to! The issue is our location. Tons of shitty cops who have a hard on for jap bikes. When we move locations, we will be able to have them test drive and come back for quick interview! We have gotten some guys to come back afterwards and we will work on the interview directly after the first rides! Thank you for the suggestion! 💪💪
You guys seem to me like you seriously know your shit. Well done, keep it up. I recently got rid of my gen 3 ZX10R, 2010. I'm based in the UK so my options are limited. I took my bike to my fairly local, recommended tuner. It had a set of Black Widow headers (Absolute wank, cheap. But deleted the cat). With a Scorpion can. K&N air filter and that's it. Bike came back after tuning @ 159RWHP. I was shocked. Even though the bike was fast and seemed dialled in compared to what it was before I couldn't help but question the figures. What numbers would you see on my model given my information? I remember the AF ration was nowhere near as clean, even after the tune. Pisses me off even thinking about it. I even took it back, they managed to grab an extra few HP but whether that was down to a morning run with colder air I couldn't tell you. Cheers
@user-zr5gd2wv5q honestly the black widow systems aren't horrible but also not the best. Definitely a cheaper system overall. Also in Europe, I know they have different fuel ratings vs the USA. Ours is (Research + Motor) ÷ 2 or (R+M)/2. In Europe (from my understanding) you guys only utilize the research method. With that being said, it could influence your horsepower numbers as well as the exhaust system. 159whp is not that bad all in all. The ones we tune here range from like 162-172 whp depending on mods 🤙 Thank you for the good words as well, we really appreciate the feedback 🙌
There are so many factors lol Me being 5’8’’ 230lbs vs someone who is 100lbs less makes a massive difference. Once you have some bolt ons and a solid tune on a litre bike, you are going to be in the mid 4 second 60-130 range which is going to obliterate 99% of what you see in every day life
Hey brother i have a zx10r 2019 one with finger follower what HP should be expected from bone stock engine with DNA racing filter and a slip on SC project CRT i am currently running at 190Hp
@ace-lv5gp ill have to go back and look. The winpep 8 system is ran off of fiber optics and literally picks up data every like 50rpm. Many places where we can't touch through the ecu. On the older system, winpep 7, it was ran off 9pin serial cable. Data didn't process as fast making the lines a lot smoother to our eye. If I put smoothing factor to 0, it would look worse too since there is so much interference (sound, vibration, heat, etc).
@1tuffzx10 you don't necessarily need a head port since they are ported on intake side from factory. I'd say clean up the port on intake side, port the exhaust side, race gas, 2mm or 3mm and you can easily pass 210whp.
I love the Kawasaki content bro!! 🦾👍🫡🥷🏽🐉 I’m rolling the 2024 ZX-10RR, tuned, piped, and p-08: 209.96hp to the tire. 🦾 she has a thin head gasket and a beautiful tune by Nate from 2WDW. 🫡💚💚💚

@tbrowning9643 hell yeah man! Those are power houses as well ! Those are good numbers for what ya got 💪

I follow this channel for the gen 5 ZX-10R stuff, keep it coming. Got a 2016 myself. Is there a big difference between Euro- and US spec ?
kawi gang for life!! great content and new sub here. In house dyno someday... awesome set up

i thought 2019+ they started the finger follower (red top motors) that are found in the gen 6 as well
yes, 2019 they went to finger followers
@aRe6ix yes they did. I had a brain fart moment haha
@@provenpowercycleshaha gotcha keep up good work 💯
Are the Ninjas still the quickest to 180 mph. Just wondering
@@ace-lv5gp eh that is a huge debate
wouldnt that depend on how you mod it? for accel allah sprocket and 520 chain change for faster and lighter rotational mass rather than top speed.

You mean like in 2004?
My H2sxse puts out 222 at the rear wheel, before the remap it was 179, pretty dam good for a sports tourer🤔

Can you still clean it up a little more. It still looks bumpy as hell. Great video.

I have a question no one has answered 4 me yet. If a big bore kit & the head was polished would 210 horsepower be possible 🤔 🤷🏾♀️?

@provenpowercycles if you put Carillo rods & pistons in it could it withstand a 200 shot of nitrous 🤷🏾♀️🤔 because that would be a hell of a build
Whats your favorite year zx10r? 😮
@supaxr 2019-2020 are my favorite color scheme / power plant so far 👌
