I would like to ask you about the color settings in the openxr toolkit and ACC. It feels great and realistic. When I use the default settings, it feels cartoony.

The price on steam actually went up, by almost double. That tells me a lot of people are buying it. I have the base game and having a blast

I slow down steering input a lot when max caster is used, since max caster adds camber to the tire when turning. ( It also is why the car wants to re-center itself to go straight while at speed which causes the rear end to snap back and often makes tank slappers.) It's easy to over-turn the steering wheel and lose grip/scrub tires when using max caster, so reducing steering ratio gives more fidelity and control when turning. downside is you have to turn the steering wheel more. I usually find myself lowering caster vs lowering camber in most cases. maybe worth testing?

Just started sim racing at Xmas. Thank you for this video, just set a new record at Monza with a 1:50:84. Still not amazing but given I have never raced before I am chuffed with that!

I have a Quest 3, 4070 ti, and 5800X3D. The picture quality is generally disappointing (iRacing). I had to pull out of the Daytona 24 because I was getting 30'ish fps racing in the infield at night with rain/30 plus cars. The super frustrating part, is the million setup tweaks to get the optimal pic quality. Looking on different forums, there many tweak recommendations, Openxr etc etc. Many of the recommendations contradicted each other.

Is there somewhere I can go to learn how the game works? I'm driving fine in practice, but I don't understand all the modes, how it saves progress, and other basic functionality.

Im thinking about maining the merc i used the lexus and gtr allot i also did a season with the nsx but it didnt click front engine is the way to go for me i will try the merc thanks for the tips!

I wish ACC would have the setup info in the game as the OG AC has (what setup does what) You don´t know what does brake pad 1-4 mean or engine map unless you read a manual. It would be so easy to implement it as an info box. Thats just stupid that it does not.

I love that the game has setup that you can tweak to your liking, but at the same time, I don´t have time to make good setups. I wish games would have some leagues and lobbies with fixed setups. I love the Assetto Corsa setup exhange. I download a few of the most popular setups, test what is best for my driving style and then just minor tweaks, but the base setup is there. For ACC its more difficult. I love how AMS2 the game itself allows you to download other peoples setups.

Hi i tried vr for the first time today (blown away lol ) just like to know what overlay you're using. Not sure if its me, and im not doing a setting right in acc , but my spotter it to high and i struggle to see it during races.

I have some confusion and would like some help. At around 21:07 you say if ARB is softer, inside wheel will compress MORE while cornering. I always thought that if ARB is softer, the car would lean more to the outside and thus the outside tyres would get more compression. What am I missing here? Thanks a lot in advance.

Ok, I’m a little slower than the rest of the kids in this class, but do I have to drive the Aston in order to use the Aston ghost car file?? If so, then this is a bummer…..and also represents a great business idea for Arnout (i.e. creating LFM ghost chase cars for all the top cars being used in ACC on the qualifying track being used). I think it’s a product that would sell. Just my 2 cents….

Just started playing Acc a couple of weeks ago, without knowing, I choose the Honda because I’m a Honda fan, loved the car because i didn’t have anything else to compare too, lately I’ve been driving other cars and idk, still love the nsx.

I am Ferrari 296 driver for a year and I absolutely slow with front engine cars. Seems I'm lacking the cornering trail technique. 2 18 0 Spa with Ferrari, but only 19 2 with BMW. Aston is undrivable for me, I can not understand how people are competetive with this behemoth....
