If ACC stops being supported, I could honestly see the GT3 crowd heading over to LMU if ACE doesn’t do GT3 really well. I’ve honestly already started making my move to LMU. It’s not perfect, but it’s got a lot going for it.
@@SimracingArnout yeah, thankfully VR is coming. I wish they would get trackir support until then but they don’t seem to be in much of a hurry there. Tracks are sadly likely limited to WEC tracks, however they might start adding in historic tracks at some point. I think there’s 8 tracks now, which isn’t much, but for me, that’s honestly enough.
I am a massive ACC fan and I like GT3s for what their are...as someone said before "easy to learn, hard to master". Never been a big fan of AC and the whole modding thing was more frustrating to me than fun. Also I do not find free roaming around Scotland as my primary objective. I can do it as an odd experience once or twice. However, you need to look on the stats. AC is still way more popular than ACC. Even though that this title is way older. That shows the power is in the modding scene - tracks, cars, graphical improvements. All of that has been taken care of for Kunos by 3rd parties. So I will expect (and the trailer confirms that) they will continue keeping the modding open and relatively easy. One thing we knew yet before that trailer showed up is the fact they won't be using the Unreal Engine anymore. And for us - VR enthusiasts, I think it is a good news. UE is super unoptimized for VR and the state of ACC was not necessarily a fault of Kunos. So it feels that it is really difficult to go lower than UE from the VR perspective. You mentioned competitive racing in ACC...but I would like to challenge that. There was zero to none competition in Competizione. Why? the license system was primitive and even titles like Project Cars 2 had more advanced elements there. Competition servers were often broken, the opportunity to use the same tracks in accordance to the actual SRO calendar unused. Then server creation is not easy and does not allow for easy league creation without using 3rd party services. Competition in ACC has 3 letters and that is LFM...yet again 3rd party product. So I expect that GT3s might have a strong presence in AC EVO but definitely won't be the same as ACC - I believe they might have lots of licensing covered and models ready to be reported from UE to their proprietary engine. The way I look into AC EVO as the direct competition to iRacing with potentially different pricing model (and hopefully not subscription model). The car classes which would be the most popular would get more attention from the developer as well as other 3rd parties. So here is a chance for GT3 class to still stay strong in the AC EVO. Perhaps some other cars (i.e. Alpha Romeo or Alpine) might occur to be what Mazda MX5 is in iRacing
Early access is on january... that means ACC will still be relevant for at least a year, and if AC Evo doesn't have any ranking or competition.. I'm staying with ACC. The graphics evolution has been weird. Every year GPUs and CPUs are somewhat faster, but there's no leap. That's why I can still play with a 13 year old CPU, and developers have to take that into account. Technology is getting too expensive for little speed reward.
dear arnout have you looked arround the world how many league's are using acc SRA has 6 divisions of at least 25 drivers SSRI has 2 tears of 30 drivers Knaf has 32 drivers competing again in south africa there is a big league then pitskill where we bot are competing you more then me so it will hurt kunos if they kill acc without a solution also acc is still missing 25 tracks and others need updates
I agree with him. The trailer was simple eye candy: absolutely nothing substantive was shown. No game play, no information provided. Ask yourself if you could make an informed decision (i.e., purchase) after watching this - ? It's as if they are only relying on their core demographic so they made a movie type 'teaser trailer'; the assumption that previous customers will automatically buy like lemmings. Personally, I've been sim racing since 1998 and it's certainly not enough for me. The only bright spot was the cut scene showing opposed driving in an opposite lane.
While there may be some GT3s in ACE, I doubt they are going to give us an ACC type experience in ACE.
I doubt that as well

I need a full VR implementation with LMU first then im going to do it. It does seem nice, and i want more tracks

Luckely ACC is still new to me and I hope it will stay for a very long time❤😁.
It probably will!
man see man happy make man happy
Haha nice
I'll buy EVO if it has a career mode, If not, I don't think i'll bother or, I'll buy it on sale.

You know your stuff! Thank you for this comment!
To be fair AC Evo has not promised anything yet
Okay, okay, I'm sorry. No promises made
@@SimracingArnout haha dont take it serious, kinda disapointed by the trailer tho
AC EVO uses a inhouse graphic System developped by Kunos, not like ACC that is based on Realengine.
So it should be less demanding in power
Lets hope so!
I rather stay in ACC, which doesn´t mean I am not buying it though.
I totally feel the same

True! Optimization we need in the graphics.
AI is more important. I doubt that such an old cpu is capable of running a full field in ACC. In lmu is clearly not possible on LM with 60 cars.

Nope i haven't but thanx for this comment Yvo. Are you doing the pitskill elites tomorrow?
let me know the race and I'll join
Tomorrow pitskill.io elite races but i think the slots are full?
Umm yes!!
Trailer showed NOTHING...BS hype as usual.
@@tigerbalm666 i like this comment. Should i share my opinion like this with future announcements ?

Im waiting on the edge of my seat for EVO....
Haha you going to have to wait a bit longer
😅
I would choose to drive the Alfa over any GT3 car any day….🎉
Maybe i change my mind when we actually can!
