This also happens on a bmw engine right? I was looking for one for the wife on a diesel version but there's to much maintenance needed and scares me that to change the timing chain or the clutch you need to remove the engine (expensive) 😮😢

I bought a m135i due to my change in situation which was technically faster but was not as safe to drive fast. The Porsche was awesome fun. I think the 987 and 997 genre was a great buy. Porsche became more expensive and exclusive after this.

I had this car when it was brand new . It’s nice till 80k miles . Then from there it’s emptying your wallet . The gearbox isn’t too reliable and the vanos is very loud over 80k miles .

I have a 2005 987 Boxster S and bought it pre-owned in ‘07. To this day, it thrills me to just sit in it, let alone drive it. The mid-engine just makes the feel and performance like no other. Undoubtedly the best car I’ve ever owned.

As an ex owner of a 4C and current quad owner, his comment about the 4C not driving well, is well, ridiculous. The one thing it does is drive incredibly well, particularly with the right tires (some people also use spacers). The opinios generated from hear say other inexperienced people is well funny.

These are all full-time 4wd (H) with a planetary center differential in the transfer case. HL is 4wd with the center differential in the transfer case locked. LL is 4wd low range also with the center diff locked. The Diff Lock turn button is then for the rear differential lock.

Bought a 2002 3L D4D in 2009 for £10,000. Drove 100,000 miles with £9,000 maintenance. Had to sell it due to the corrosion and the costs of repairs was getting too high. Now with a 2014 icon with less corrosion, that that also will be a problem going forwards.

young driver here who's not too long got myself an 07 cooper s. guess i've not had the maintenance costs get to my head yet. but as someone who's only driven super slow cars due to insurance. man this cars fucking awesome. screw the comfort issues, screw the fact it's a little janky on dodgy roads, and screw the fact its totally impractical and the back seats are useless. its all part of the fun for me personally as a young single guy, i absolutely love it. if you're willing to put up with proper maintenance, these things are a BLAST and low on insurance for what you experience too. Great video mate
