wdym!? Those two and Ekko are the heroes of Zaun! Just because she doesnt have much spotlight Sevika does always the right thing at the right time somehow.
Jinx is most likely not dead. just before the explosion we see a shimmer line streak out from the explosion. later Catlin sees that there are vents down there and smiles holding one of jinx's monkey heads. Not only did she save her sister but she did so without having to die. Something I think is much better for her mental health.
Why didn't she say a proper goodbye to Vi? It's an honest question. It bothers me, why she would do this "faking her death" to Vi. Please, convince me :)
@ Vi can’t let go of the past she is the ultimate inmate trapped by her bonds to her family. Her unable to let go is exactly why she nearly died at the end. Rather than let go of the past she clung to it nearly killing her and jinx in the process. She wouldn’t have let jinx leave and if she had sent a letter after leaving Vi would have gone out to try and find her. Jinx wants to break the cycle by walking away the one thing Vi can consistently not do

I really love the fact Jinx survived and faked her death, she gives Vi and herself closure that way. Vi can move on with her life with Caitlyn and be happy, if she knew her sister's alive, she'd exhaust herself chasing her so I think this is one good reason. And another is that Jinx took Ekko's advice and Isha's sacrifice even more to heart. Walking away, breaking the cycle so she can build something new and not think of herself as a curse to everyone she touches. For me the whole of season 1 felt like Jinx's origin story into becoming not just Jinx but also her entrenching herself as jinx as seen in the ending scene of season 1, similarly to how Oz's development plays out in The Penguin. Another fact about Jinx which I thought was entrenched into the character was that she wholly acknowledges that everyone who comes close to her gets hurt, so it feels weird for the first few episodes after that scene to see her befriend Isha when you know that she's not just only learnt her lesson that people around her die but she's also taken steps to apply that by severing herself away from any relationships she may have i.e. Silco and Vi Jinx very much felt she was being built up to become a villain, maybe an anti-villian but a villain of some kind and for her to turn into some sort of anti-hero or even hero, feels cheap and antithetical to the whole build up of season 1 and the ending scene

In that scene where Jinx is being told that she can't just keep living out this fantasy is a reference to being with Isha, because the moment she says that line, Isha enters into the frame referencing about her. @@C0LIN. problem with Efap is since they go scene by scene (and sort of have an echo chamber panel) they drag on nitpicking scenes too long and hide some more legit points under hours of meandering. From skimming/listening to what they said so far i'd say their main points are this (keep in mind they haven't gotten to the finale yet 💀): - Frustrations with luck affecting plot (e.g. jinx vs. Vi fight by chance happening during arcane glitch). How much this matters to you varies a lot person to person - Missing scenes due to such a fast pace (e.g. Vi needs to be convinced to become an enforcer, but we get no scene where we see how she rationalizes using the grey/chemical warfare on their mission, which should be as much of a sticking point in joining the force than just the enforcer uniform. Or extra scenes on Jinx becoming Zaun's rallying figure, firelights involvement, how Council handled the disappearance of 2 members, Ambessa on the kidnapping of her daughter by the black rose, etc.) - Dislike new Silco+Vander backstory because they don't believe Silco would go back on the promise to protect Vi+Powder so starkly to where he has no hesitation on killing Vi w/ shimmer junkies in Ep3, since one of his biggest gripes with Vander is him going against his previous promises/ principles. - Frustrated with Heimerdinger's passivity: doesn't have much to say to Jayce after being banished by him, seemingly makes no efforts to return home in the alternate dimension (fine with waiting for ekko but he makes no progress beforehand) despite inhabiting/ killing alternate heimerdinger (They also generally think the alternate universe isn't possible considering S1/ Silco vs. Vander), unceremonious death - Belive Arcane being inherently bad and always leading to destruction removes S1 depth - Confusion with Ekko's time travel: 4 second limit is only explained by heimer...exploding? not really clear wtf happens and then he breaks this rule later which causes a very different type of explosion. sort of nitpicky but this 4 second rule is really important for the finale - believe Ekko "learning"/ "realizing" the potential for good in the undercity is a retread because that's the original goal of his firelight organization; the only group doing true good in Zaun in S1 (attacking shimmer shipments, true rehabilitation unlike victor, against both chem barons and piltover oppression) I don't agree with all of their points, but I think it'd be great if you make a response video whenever one of them ends up making a more concise video, would be an interesting watch/ dialogue. I think they have potential to create some interesting dialogue but they muddy it with a like-minded panel and hours upon hours of nitpicks that don't really move the needle.
1. I really dont think this is a big deal since all great shows have some kind luck incorporated in the story which sometimes is even used on purpose to raise stakes or represent character(ex. In lotr aragorn coming to save everyone with army of the dead at the last second, hank finding out that walter is heisenberg by accidentally picking up a book that gale gave to walt even tho he had bunch of other things to pick up as well). 2.1 I understamd this but imo it makes sense for vi to do this since we have been shown in s1 that vi is willing to do bad things in the present if it means future will be better bcs of it( telling jayce to forget the kid he killed and continue with the mission bcs good end will be worth the bad journey). 2.2. I really dont get why this is neccessary it makes complete sense why will zaunites see jinx as a hero since she blowed up council and released gases into piltover as nobody had the courage to do that previously and that inspires them and btw pacing is consistenly fast as s1. 2.3. I suspect that council has no power anymore since caitlyn has literally been declared a dictator/commander of piltover and why would she be worried about Jayce if shes literally in war with zaun and blinded by her anger with jinx also she has no lead or witness where jayce went whatsoever. 2.4. Same as caitlyn ambessa has no lead whatsoever and if if she does what would she do? The entire reason she came to piltover in the first place is to get hextech or anything powerful to fight black rose since they are to strong to fight without it. 3. Silco cares about indepedance zaun since he has inferiority complex not for anyone in particulary(outside of jinx of course) and if we accept that this silco was much more kind thaf future silco himself says that he let that version of him die since he views as weak and that he was reborn after he had NDE when vander tried to kill him which led him to become much more ruthless than he was(its also implied in s1 and vander himself that silco always had ruthless methods whuch led to him killing bunch if inoccent people leading to vander try to kill him knowing that silco woukd probably never stop. 4.1. Heimer entire arc boils down to finally realizing the error of his ways( always thinking about future never about present problems and suffering of others and limited lifetime of others since hes immortal . 4.2. Hextech wasnt invented in this dimension so he wouldnt have anything to work with so he decided to make life better here and enjoy the present that is the point of his arc and this episode as for his death there is cut that shows that in order to transfer to og timeline sacrife is required. 4.3. Why wouldnt it be silco even though he hated vander for what he did to him also still respected him and viewed him a brother who wanted same thing as him(zauns indepedance and prosperity ehich does happened in this timeline since vi death was catalyst for jayce to never invent hextech and piltiover to improve realationship with zaun) but through different means. 5. I dont think intention was to show that arcane is inherently bad but the ones motivation and intention how it used makes it, although i would agree that they should have done better job communicating that. 6. I could misremembering but didnt heimer literally said that he was able to increase the time limit or something along line like that. As for why heimer explodes i dont think it really matters for the story overral and like you said its just nipicky. 7. He fought for good yes but what he didnt believe is that everyone in zaun and piltover could seetle there differences in order create a better future which he didnt believe in s1.
I love your takes on the show and I love it so much. I do have a question regarding S2 not many people are talking about. That’s “why didn’t the Undercity know Jinx killed Silco?” ALSO I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR TAKES ON OTHER CRITIQUES!!!
Jinx broke the cycle twice, once by breaking the "jinx" aspect of her and the other aforementioned by silco, breaking the cycle of violence by walking away or should i say flying away
i’ve heard some people not know why silco was with vander when it revealed ekko went to another universe. i thought it was pretty obvious why silco was in the other universe, given the letter Jinx and Vi found.
I've seen a lot of people argue that it makes no sense for Jinx to be able to bring Vi back from her drunken-brawler days so quickly - that that sequence is evidence of the "bad pacing" of Season 2. Wut?! Like, is there any doubt that Vi would put everything aside, feelings about Jinx included, to help Vander if she thought, even for a second, that he were still alive in some way.
I loved this season, but it was made in half the time, and it occasionally shows. Deaths (one in particular) that are never brought up again, sevika doesn't say a word after act 2, and there are not enough moments to let the relationships breath because of the faster pace which undercut some of the impact the arcs had. If season 1 was a 100, season 2 would be a 98 which is an achievement given the schedule they had.
I’d give this season an 8/10 or a solid 9. It’s great, but I do think overall season 1 is better and in my opinion it’s an easy 10/10, it just flowed alot better to me and it really felt like it didn’t spin a single beat at all. Season 2 has a lot of great moments, but I felt like there wasn’t enough scenes in between to flesh out some of the plot lines that were going on. I really wish we could have gotten a few more episodes or hell even a third season to really flesh out everything but every studio feels the need to only provide like 9 or 10 episodes a season before canceling it or ending it pre maturely. Overall tho this show is a damn marvel to behold, and we need to have this be the standard for media to follow.
You almost got it.Well, at least you didnt say 'oh she is completely Powder now'. She is clearly Jinx accepting her rebel spirit that Vi plantet inside of her. However breaking the cycle is getting away from your abusive family. Think about it: An alcoholic father who only knows how to punch and drop one liners, we also see Vander mostly through the tainted glasses of his daughters. Do we really know the real Vander? Her sister tries to kill her multiple times and we she does not want to kill her she wants to hug her and be sisters again, this can be very damaging to your psyche and your body. If you havent realized Arcane one big metaphor is that of a child leaving his abusive family and making peace with not being able to fix it. Also Jinx is pregnant xD
One of my only gripes of this season was cutting out scenes of ekko and jinx that were crucial for their relationship in the actual timeline really sad to see it was cut out but thankfully it’s actually canon tho hope we get to see more of them together in some of the future series
Good season although there are things that were not used very well such as: Black Roses I feel that they were not used enough I mean they said there are a lot of problems but we did not see much Faye and Caitlin were not interesting just like the first season And the ending in general made me feel empty neither happy nor sad just looking at my screen saying "Is this it

Maybe I’m off the mark but the arc Jinx goes through across both seasons sounds similar to the one Arthur goes through across both Joker movies, but done better. Not relevant but yeah, this video convinced me to watch Arcane, even though I don’t care for LoL.
While sure Arcane season 2 wasn't rushed. That doesn't mean that the show wasn't poorly handled. As "My Little thought Tree" put it a lot was glossed over. For example in episode 5 he brings up how the show should of gone into more detail about Vi's conflicting emotions, and have Vi not immediately follow Jinx to find Vander but rather let there be more time for her to think about that offer. And this shows a lot of the issues of season 2 which is how it glosses over a lot of important details just to get the story to where it currently is.
We don’t need more detail on her conflicting emotions, we know exactly what they are and why she feels that way. And the reason she goes with Vander is because deep down she wants her sister back still, and she has nothing left to live for. So again, this is just a case of not paying attention
@@samuelhadjaissa5201 She literally doesn’t have full trust or belief in Jinx, she still goes with her anyway because she has nothing left to live for. U linking a video doesn’t change or counter that point. So ur not paying attention clearly.
@@C0LIN. Yes she may not have something to live for. However that doesn't take away the fact Jinx has committed so many crimes and embraced a dangerous identity. There is no reason for her to automatically trust her. Just because Vi is at her lowest doesn't mean she is automatically go with Jinx on the spot. Again if you look at the video you see how it explains how a restructuring of certain scenes could of made for an episode that feels more natural. Claiming people "are not paying attention" doesn't negate criticism to Arcane.
Vi never uses her head unless it is to run through a wall. The Problem is not Arcane. The Problem is that you have been fouled and can't even see the surface of the world that is Arcane.
@@thatgermanview5721 I've seen the world of Arcane for all of is depth and intrigue. And even if Vi is someone who thinks through brute forced. That doesn't mean she would automatically open with Jinx especially when we don't get to get broad idea of what she was up to during her fight career. And as I said before the video I linked do's a great job explaining this.

- Confusion with Ekko's time travel: 4 second limit is only explained by heimer...exploding? not really clear wtf happens and then he breaks this rule later which causes a very different type of explosion. sort of nitpicky but this 4 second rule is really important for the finale
- believe Ekko "learning"/ "realizing" the potential for good in the undercity is a retread because that's the original goal of his firelight organization; the only group doing true good in Zaun in S1 (attacking shimmer shipments, true rehabilitation unlike victor, against both chem barons and piltover oppression)
I don't agree with all of their points, but I think it'd be great if you make a response video whenever one of them ends up making a more concise video, would be an interesting watch/ dialogue.
3. Silco cares about indepedance zaun since he has inferiority complex not for anyone in particulary(outside of jinx of course) and if we accept that this silco was much more kind thaf future silco himself says that he let that version of him die since he views as weak and that he was reborn after he had NDE when vander tried to kill him which led him to become much more ruthless than he was(its also implied in s1 and vander himself that silco always had ruthless methods whuch led to him killing bunch if inoccent
people leading to vander try to kill him knowing that silco woukd probably never stop.
Jinx broke the cycle twice, once by breaking the "jinx" aspect of her and the other aforementioned by silco, breaking the cycle of violence by walking away or should i say flying away
i’ve heard some people not know why silco was with
vander when it revealed ekko went to another universe. i thought it was pretty obvious why silco was in the other universe, given the letter Jinx and Vi found.
I think looking at the monleys in the "time machine" helped her listen to ekkko
I've seen a lot of people argue that it makes no sense for Jinx to be able to bring Vi back from her drunken-brawler days so quickly - that that sequence is evidence of the "bad pacing" of Season 2. Wut?! Like, is there any doubt that Vi would put everything aside, feelings about Jinx included, to help Vander if she thought, even for a second, that he were still alive in some way.
1:54 Why is Jinx in Gotham City?
Is she lost? 💀
Piltover was too peaceful.
As much as I love episode 7, I think episode 5 is really the best episode of the season. Everything just hit so hard in ep 5.
I think you should do a video for Mel, Viktor, and Jayce.
3:04 I thought Isha was just mute, not deaf
yeah is the peak of 2024 ;)
I'd love vids about Ekko and Heimerdinger and Jayce and Viktor cause they're relationships were such good compliments to each other
Great video analysis on jinx, looking forward to a video on Vi hopefully in the future
Edit: ignore the edgy weirdo in replies
@@thatgermanview5721.... I'm sorry what the fuck you on right now?
Synthetic man would have a stroke watching this show💀
So what was the Jinx reskin for Arkham City?
Dude, you gotta see Efap's videos trashing season 2. It's downright horrendous 😭
Hey Colin, just wondering if you know what EFAT have said about S2?
I've heard a couple things they've said and it's all been dumb
@C0LIN. I made the comment before seeing the clip at the end. My god these people are so beyond stupid. Can't wait for SK'S Guardians 3 debunking.
There is also a foreshadowing of isha death when she hugs vander at the end of ep 5 her helmet has an X on it
Nice video. By the way, are you gonna respond to Sheev Talks' video on responding to you about if Peter B's character was ruined in ATSV?
Isha is mute, not deaf. She understands spoken language just fine.
She is nerve deaf if you watch how she reacts to someone talking behind she doesnt react at all
I’d give this season an 8/10 or a solid 9.
PLEASE MAKE AN EKKO VID I BEG
This is not it at all wtf💀
@@C0LIN. Vi stands for violence. She will become the Pigdog of Piltover. Caitlyn is lying because the (cup)cake is a lie. Open your eyes, brother!
One of my only gripes of this season was cutting out scenes of ekko and jinx that were crucial for their relationship in the actual timeline really sad to see it was cut out but thankfully it’s actually canon tho hope we get to see more of them together in some of the future series
Good season although there are things that were not used very well such as:
Black Roses I feel that they were not used enough I mean they said there are a lot of problems but we did not see much
Faye and Caitlin were not interesting just like the first season
And the ending in general made me feel empty neither happy nor sad just looking at my screen saying "Is this it
Ok
Arcane was amazing even though I’ve seen only 10 min of league gameplay
it's just ok. it's a 10 on a speedrun scale maybe, but about 6.5 by standard scale.
idk she got nerfed to me

Can you debunk efat video on arcane season 2
Maybe I’m off the mark but the arc Jinx goes through across both seasons sounds similar to the one Arthur goes through across both Joker movies, but done better. Not relevant but yeah, this video convinced me to watch Arcane, even though I don’t care for LoL.
I can kinda see where ur coming from lol
I didn’t know there’s a a jinx mod for Harley 🔥
Next region is most likely noxus I wonder which characters they are gonna focus on.
What game is that?
League of Legends (LoL for short)
@@veronicapiccinini7956 League for short
I cant wait for the “arcane is a woke disaster” videoes and i really hope you debunk as many as possible
While sure Arcane season 2 wasn't rushed. That doesn't mean that the show wasn't poorly handled. As "My Little thought Tree" put it a lot was glossed over. For example in episode 5 he brings up how the show should of gone into more detail about Vi's conflicting emotions, and have Vi not immediately
follow Jinx to find Vander but rather let there be more time for her to think about that offer.
Again if you look at the video you see how it explains how a restructuring of certain scenes could of made for an episode that
feels more natural.
Stop making these cope videos. This is GoT all over again. With the exact same line.
