Great video. Does that book show you how to make drapery on a doll or maquette and have it stay? Is it wax or something else?

How do you salvage your clay after demolding with the Crystal Clear on top? I've never heard of doing this and I'm intrigued, but I also want to be able to reuse my clay for more sculpts.

Great video man! I have one problem, though. I tried to switch from a common 2-axis roto machine to your 1-axis solution using a similar model. However, every time, one spot is not filled with plaster. Have you had that problem?

Would I use the same steps to make a mold go upside down for cement pouring? I need it to be for a 4ft statue. I plan to make a rubber MD and a fiberglass mold. Only issue is ... I need to flip upside down to fill with cement.

I'm not too sure why you don't have over 100k subscribers right now but I hope that will happen for you... I was wondering is it necessary to put registration keys in the mother mold? I noticed that you did not do that for this mold which looks so much simpler and better in my opinion than others that I've seen.

I'm wondering if there is a formula for mixing plaster and water to make it liquid enough to use as slip cast. My idea is to use the plaster instead of clay and make hollowed figurines.

Very interesting to watch and super helpful as I have been looking for a good way to recreate this type of finish for a long time. Thank you very much! A couple of questions. 1) If you do not want the white aging effect, but just the browns and blacks, do you just not use the Tiffany Green? 2) Do you spray the completed piece again with Krylon or some type of clear sealer? I am just wondering about the shoe polish coming off when someone was to clean the piece or dust it.

Really helpful. A great glue to use is Paraloid b72. It can also be mixed with dust to make a filler.

That bronze paint is great! I used it on some 3D printed pieces for a sculpture show I was involved with over the summer, and it really threw everyone off when I informed them that my pieces weren’t bronze castings.

Thank for you tips on working with casts in hydro stone. I have never used it and am about to cast my sculptures in that material. Your methods save me a lot of time and headaches/heartbreak in knowing how to repair areas. 😊
