Great videos! I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how to attach the armature to the pipe so that it releases-- I'd love to see a visual if you have one available.
Hi Shana. Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying them. The armature had a simple bread tie attached to it and then wrapped around the threads of the pipe. I also had a U-shaped wire around the armature and into the pipe opening. That wire had tension pushing outwards from inside the pipe to create some friction. This is just my experience but as long as it "comes out" is what matters.
You can reuse oil based clay. Sometimes it has bits if debris but that can be picked out. Sometimes it's easier to toss it but mainly I salvage most of it. Thanks for watching and asking! 👍

I have a question 🙋🏻♀️ can we reuse the clay after the casting ?! I mean do you throw that away or u reuse the same clay to do something else?!
