Rich bought me a gorgeous necklace with a turquoise stone when we were in Prague and I always get compliments when I wear it. There was some pretty mauve stoned jewellery too which was stunning. Richard bought me an Indian silver ring, which I love and so glad I got it as I would've been wishing I had had I not. I'm glad the music lifted your spirits Jilly. Thanks Fiona, this year is going far too quickly for my liking but trying to enjoy every moment when we can 🥰 I love picking berries and apples and plums from the orchard. There were so many plums on the ground already going to waste, it's such a shame. The colours and textures of the grasses are lovely. I often pick them and dry them to put in a vase and enjoy indoors. Thanks for watching, hope you are getting better and have a good week. See you again soon 🥰 xx

Thanks for watching Andrew, our walk to the park is always a joy with so many beautiful gardens to look at on the way. This is the best willow tunnel I've ever seen and in the beautiful surroundings of the Downs. Oh yes, it's nice for Ky to be able to play with his ball, .... when it's not too hot. His welfare is my number one priority.

Good morning Jilly, thanks for watching our slow day 🥰 today is another one 😄 sometimes you just have to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures. My Mum used to love butterflies and so do I. I always think of her when I see one. They are tricky to capture as they flutter about so quickly, so I was delighted when the blue one rested for a while; it was so beautiful with those delicate wings, almost see-through. The blackberries are abundant right now; I think it's early for them this year. They were so juicy and delicious.; We have slow worms in the garden too. Many a time I have walked down the garden and seen one basking in the sun. They are such interesting little things and so quick when they move. I have no idea why they are called "slow" worms 😄 Thank you for watching and I hope you and Madge have a lovely sunny day to enjoy xx 🥰 Blessings

Oh Fiona, I am so sorry to read about your leg. I do hope it gets better soon 🤗 Good to know you have lots of runner beans, they are my favourite veg in summer but sadly ours have been lacking water and haven't grown too much this year - my fault - always busy doing other things and the garden sometimes takes a back seat. I'm glad you enjoyed watching our slow day taking in the beauty of nature, which I love to do. We picked so many blackberries we have lots now in the freezer for the latter months, pies and crumbles are so delicious and they always taste best when made with fruit you have picked yourself. We are hoping to go to the community garden to get some apples. It's lovely there and they encourage people to pick and use or they go to waste. Home grown are definitely best. Have a great Sunday too and rest that leg xx 🥰

@jeanblemings5352 thanks for watching Jean. I've been creating a video as the work in the church progresses. It will be finished in a week or so, be sure to check it out. It's amazing how they have transformed it and the space they've created will be put to good use. The butterflies 🦋 especially the blue and the slow worms lovely to see. They put corrugated iron down to give them shelter and so people can observe them, lifting it and replacing carefully. We've often seen as many as six and also an adder! No photo of that though 😲 See you on Monday 🥰

Pity we were n't able to see the finished church. Next time!

It's about half an hour walk from Petworth House off a turning on Horsham Road Jean, well worth a visit. The common was a lovely walk although we didn't walk for long as hoping to go with Kevin, Cynthia and Steve for a longer walk there again one day @KevinsRambles It really was so pretty Jean with all that heather bursting with colour 💜 Thank you for watching 🥰
