- It's the 28th July and summer is definitely here with temperatures in the mid 20's so it was too hot to go on the Kevin's Rambles walk with all the folk, (Kevin's link is below together with Marq English's and Wandering with Watto's too which will feature their walk) but we met up with them half way on their walk at the beautiful Charleston Farmhouse Gardens and what a delight it was in the gardens there, WOW. The flowers were in abundance and the sun was shining; it was a beautiful day.
We then went on to the amazing Berwick Church to show Sue around. She's here from Nottingham and has never seen it. She got the WOW factor as soon as she walked in, like everyone does there.
We had lunch at The Ram in Firle before heading home. I hope you'll enjoy watching.

The garden at Charleston was a blaze of colour - and blazing hot in the walled garden! Berwick church is always a treat! Hope Ky did not suffer too much in the heat. No cooling dip for him that day!
@@jeanblemings5352 it really was wasn’t it Jean, so so beautiful. I love it there and also the Church. It was so nice to be able to show Sue around. It was far too hot for Ky to do the walk despite what someone said, that would have been a disaster and I would never put my boy through that! He stayed in the shade and he was fine. I 100% have his best interests at heart ❤️

Hi Lynn Richard Ky and the gang first of all what a brilliant sunny day. The gardens were so lovely all the different flowers all mingled together looked great . The church well what a lovely welcoming church, the paintings on the walls were oh so brilliantly done it felt a very inviting church. The views over the fields were magnificent, how I wishthat I could still walk them still I have your brilliant videos to watch thankyou for that brings back lovely memories. Your dinner looked good enough to eat thanks Lynn see you next time 😊❤xxx

Hi Fiona, it definitely was a brilliant sunny day, too hot for Ky to walk the ramble sadly, but it was nice to meet up with everyone on their half way stop at such a beautiful place. The flowers were stunning, so many different colours. I'm glad you enjoyed watching and seeing the Church, which is one of my favourites. The scenery over the Downs from there is so beautiful it takes your breath away. Oh yes, lunch was really delicious, we made a good choice. Thanks for watching and see you next time at The Prairie Gardens, which I've just uploaded. Enjoy xx

@@lynnb_and_ky_springer_spaniel like Ky I don’t do this heat, it drains me and the older I get the less able I am to cope with it sadly! Unless under some shade by a swimming pool of course!
@@kezzaba1 I'm the same Kerry, and to think I used to lie out in it in the 70's.... phew. I get really lethargic in the hot weather so goodness only knows what it's like having a fur coat on, poor Ky. We do our best to keep him cool and only have his best interests' at heart, not our own. He's our boy, our family 🐶 He's been swimming today ❤ Thank you for watching my videos Kerry, I really do appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoy them
