When you think, all those folk who never stop their cars, to take a walk in nature, miss so much! I LOVE slow worms, they have such beautiful faces, and look golden. Have you ever picked one up? They are surprisingly heavy for something so small. I had to save one from being in the lane the other week, and put it into the bushes at the side, and I feel so lucky to help such a beautiful creature. I know Jilly, they are missing so much. Nature is so wonderful, full of all sorts of things most people don't bother to look out for. I love trying to spot things on our walks. The slow worms are awesome. We have them in our garden and yes, I have picked one up (and careful of the tail end as they can fall off). My grandson loves them too, he always has, and when he was little he used to lie down next to them and study them in detail before they scooted off 😄 I'm so glad we are like-minded and that you enjoyed coming along with us 🥰 Best wishes xx
