Highdown Gardens | South Downs National Park | Tea and a Walk

This afternoon we went to Highdown Gardens with it's beautiful flowers and landscaping. We also had a lovely walk at National Trust Highdown Hill followed by a nice cup of tea in the tea room.

Oh David, you should really go there, it's so lovely. It changes at different times of the year and always something interesting to see. The fact that it's free is amazing in this day and age, just put a donation in the post box and they are very grateful. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Oh yes Fiona it seems to change every time we go there. The new visitor centre is nice (I say new, but it's been there a while now). We love going to the Tea Room, such a lovely little place to sit and relax after the walk around. The walk there on The Downs is so beautiful with the scenic views. Good morning Lynn. You do find some nice places. Living over the border in Sussex(I assume) means you get to show us places unknown to me, which is lovely. That's another beautiful place and I have no idea where it is. Thanks for sharing x

We are so lucky to have such a great garden locally and free to visit though I always donate. You captured it beautifully. The flowers seemed to be on a theme of pink with accents of yellow here and there. Did you visit the tea room or was it too busy?
