I make PC build videos.
Jonsbo Z20 - Full Build - Air Cooled mATX!
Hey guys, please use my Amazon affiliate link to get the parts shown in this video! It would help me out a lot!
- Jonsbo Z20 mATX Case: amzn.to/3Wf5r18
- Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO: amzn.to/3PuKpaN
- Crucial P5 Plus 2 TB NVME M.2 SSD: amzn.to/3W8DXKA
- MSI MPG B760M Edge TI WIFI: amzn.to/3WcGWS8
- 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5: amzn.to/3DOaGyp
- Intel Core i9 12900K: amzn.to/4haypXM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sit back, relax, and watch this Micro-ATX Gaming PC build in the JonsPlus Z20 featuring a 12900K and a 6900XT!
Please comment with your questions and I will answer them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The good:
- Multiple options for CPU cooling.
- Good amount of space for long GPUs.
- I like the looks of this case. The tempered glass side panel has fun square decals on it that positively add to the design.
- The handle: although it seems a bit flimsy, the handle comes in the clutch if you ever have to move the case, even if it’s only once. It is worth having on a small case like this.
- The airflow is quite good in this case, resulting in a quiet, well-performing gaming rig. It produces acceptable CPU and GPU temps during gaming. The Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO really stands out as a fantastic, relatively cheap CPU cooler. I will certainly be using it in future builds.
About the cable management/room for activities:
-The lack of room for cables and controllers/hubs is disappointing. If you want to use RGB fans that require a hub to control them, good luck finding space for that hub/controller. You have a sliver of room behind the PSU to stuff cables, and some exposed space underneath the PSU to mount hubs/fan controllers. If I used non-RGB fans in this case, then I would have had a much easier time managing cables in an organized fashion; no hubs, no SATA power cables, no RGB cables, etc.
Conclusion:
- The Jonsbo/JonsPlus Z20 is so close to being great, but I will not use it for my personal build. The lack of space for cable management makes me unable to recommend it to other PC builders. I prefer the cheaper, better designed Lian Li A3 mATX, or even the good ol’ Sliger SM580 (best case ever made & has a better handle).

would an asrock b660m-c fit in this ?
Wrong airflow and no bottom dust filter. No good building method.
In reality the case is much smaller than what it looks like here.
Are those the cables that come with the power supply or custom ones?
@@fhantoxic8347 They are the stock cables that came with the power supply.
hoses at the top for AIO is a no-no, isn't it?
It's pretty awesome how everything fits in. Nice build you have done! 💪 Are those RGB fans disturbing the airflow for the GPU? I might have gone with three of the Thermalright TL-9015B instead, because they are thin /slim form factor 90mm for the front fittings OR for using them as the air outtake
Wouldn't it be more effective to turn your CPU cooler fans around and use the rear fan as an exhaust for all that hot CPU air? I'm just a noob, so IDK, just curious.
Theres no intake in the front panel, so its better to have it in the rear and adjust the cpu cooler fans
I'm curious, do you think the Corsair Shift power supplies would work in this case? I know that the fan would be drawing air directly from the case. This isn't a concern, I would be more curious if the mounting bracket would interfere with where the psu cables plug in.
What PCIE riser did you use?
I used the one that came with the case!
this went hard
I have here 10+y old case. Silent, "you can kick it and not much will happen" sturdy. But time files so it's time to upgrade and why not go with nice Fractal Design North case! What a disappointment!! That case is definition of cheaply made, flimsy, bad case. My GPU is *bending* the perforrated back!! The case should protect the components, and secure them in place, but it's so flimsy, that it bends under them! Next very pleasant thing is, that even high-end fans made this case resonate, so even though no fan is making any by ear noticable noise, the case sounds like humming gong. It's total garbage with wood in front. If you want it, but it from somewhere where you can easily return it "if" you will need to do so.
Is it possible to install 140mm fans? Is there room for them?
Yes, I used 140mm fans on top and bottom.
Wait those magnetic covers don’t stay on? The guy who had my PC before me really didn’t know what he was doing
i was trying to find a video with this case and a 160mm psu to make sure my psu will fit, i think i find it. Beautiful build btw!
8:42 It is not in focus and does not look good, but where is it connected?
How is your CPU air cooler doing on temps just for games not stress tests? Never mind just saw it in your description thank you.
Very nice :)
Just rebuild my pc into the same case but im getting 3x 120mm slim fans for the bottom intake since my current fans are too close to my 4070s. just to be safe and move air a lot easier.
i could not get my PSU situated with the fan facing into the case until i watched this...running the power cable to the back of the case was genius. completely overlooked that option!
Show the other side of it coward
Maybe I missed it, but where did the PSU cable that plugs into the wall go? Seems to just disappear behind the back panel
You can see it at 5:15
@@SubdubbinBut then you see you completely close it off at 8:57
The case includes a 90 degree angled PSU extension that is routed through the side panel
The case is hot. There is no fan in the front and it does not draw air from the bottom.
He mounted 2 intake fans on the bottom
On amazon it states that I can use a 240mm AIO. If I wanted to use the AIO I'm better of getting an SFX or a short ATX PSU will fit? I already have an ATX PSU and don't feel like buying an SFX but if I have to for this case then I prob will. EDIT: I'm just gonna get the bigger version the Jonsbo D31, it can support a full size ATX and even a 360AIO but now I can buy a 280AIO and use my ATX PSU I already have. Great video!
Thank you! Good luck with the build.
The D41 support ATX but the D31 doesn't
i prefer DanC4 than lianLiDan, the danC4 move gpu on top and i can have lovely air cooler xD but still classic nice itx
is this the best airflow for this case? 🤔
Beautiful
Excellent job and setup.
In this pc enough cpu-cooler plus back 120mm, try you will not loose of effectives!
just 1 fan in the back and that's it?! Are you sure it's effective?
@@romanovtrip Yes 120*25, 30 or 38 mm
I hate that it seems to be acceptable to dangle the PSU on just two screws in these smallish form factor cases.
At 10:30 there are 2 screws in the front that hold the PSU in as well
Look its a bird,no its plane ,no its a superman, nooo its a microwave jonsbo 🎉🎉🎉
look expensive how much was the build?
I did install the 40% darkening foil for car windows. it gives good vibes.
Cpu fan config??
Did the case come with the screws for the mother board?
The case or motherboard manufacturer always provides extra screws/standoffs, don’t worry!
@@lordprohibit-3832 yes it did
I love when cases use the space efficiently! great build!
Positive pressure with exhaust on top? hmmm interesting.
Is his fan setup good or bad? It seems like a positive pressure setup, but after I tried it out, the temperature didn't seem to change.
Air intake from the bottom and rear. So the tower cooler fans have to be orientated accordingly. PSU sucks air from the front and exhaust to the top. Almost all exhaust are focused on top and some might leaked to the front. Really interesting
Clean but u only needed white motherboard to go all white clean btw
Clean as always!
That's a very clean build brother. 🍻
freaking godtier cable management Can I ask why the exhaust fan at bottom??
i struggle with cable management in this case !!
TYSM. This helped a lot with my build!
I prefer to install 140mm at the front so that more cool air comes in, AIO installed in push pull at the top and also a 140mm fan at the back. Since I have a 4090, it's more important to me to get a lot of fresh air because the CPU isn't put under much strain when I play at 4k anyway. When I play I never get above 50 degrees and I use maximum settings every time I play.
This case only fits a 240mm aio up top
Interesante, me lo encontre de casualidad, no sabia de la existencia de estos cajones, saludos desde Venezuela.
😵👀
What were the cables that was placed under the motherboard?
this guys cable management is art
I am going to rebuild from scratch to get the cable management right!
So this board will fit my MSI b760-p motherboard? I see that this board offers e-atx and I have an atx board rn that I have and want to know if I can use this case
Yoo! Love the new builds!
@@nishanthdass4172 Yo Nish! Thanks man!
