    What this video doesn't show is how much research, planning and preparation goes into a small form factor build. There is no room for mistakes, and its a pain to have to pull everything apart if you forget to pre run the cables to where they are needed. Well done on a nice clean build.

    • @Athasin
      @Athasin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      I mean there is some room for mistakes, like forgetting to install your RAM or flipping the switch in your PSU. However, this guy is a cable management champ.

    I like that most of the video shows how the cables are managed, and which cables go where. Most of the PC builds you see on YT, only show them putting in the GPU, CPU and RAM and then they call it a day. This showed everything, which for beginners like me is way more useful.

      Yeah I'm stuck between an NZXT H1 and the CM NR200P as well! H1 looks sick and takes very little space on your desk, but you're stuck with the 140mm aio included and if that goes bad or if you want better cooling, you can't do anything about it. After I have watched this video several times. I decided to build a similar setup. Thank you very much for that.
    NR200P (stock fans) with KrakenX63 (stock fans) but Asus X570-I, AMD X5800, RTX3080, 700W PSU, 512GB M.2+ 2TB M.2+1TB SSD, 32GB Ram, 2 additional slim fans in the floor.
    I am still finetuning fan curves and collecting experience with it and it is very quite on desktop work, but with gaming it gets extremely loud, I am still below 70°C on CPU and GPU and hope to reduce the noise. I also think about replacing the PSU fan because the fan makes an "eeeeee" noise even on low speeds and it doesn't shut up for some minutes even after taking away the load.
    The build was very much fun, but the cable managment is very hard and looks to simple in this video... it is way harder. Especially because there are no real SFF cable sets available on the market I had a hard time especially installing two 60cm PCIe cables in this case. (MANUFACTURES! We need short versions!)

    Great build and video especially the cable management on NR200, incredible. 1 hour build, 3 hours cable management :) That is also probably the highest number of fans i have seen in this case, so many i can't even fathom the air flow plan here. Excluding GPU you already have like 8 fans? now that is 11 fans if we include GPU! Since my build aligns very closely with yours i have couple of questions. NR200P comes with a TG Panel, did you get to use it? i believe with this configuration you can't since AIO relies on intake from sides? I am considering returning AIO for air cooling with more fans. Fans being so tight from AIO Radiator with PSU didn't harm or cause turbulence near the PSU?

    Very handy video, thank you.
    Been buying stuff and planning my first mini itx build for a little while now, ended up getting the nr200p. Was unsure about what to do for fans and I ended up getting the same corsair unit you used here. Since I'm not planning on doing push/pull for the x63 rad I think I'm going to try mounting it on the psu shroud, but it's good to know there's room to stick it down the front as well.
    Now it's just a matter of waiting for the parts to get here. ugh

    • @amafi_poe
      @amafi_poe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      took 6 months for my 5950x to get here, finally got the system built. in another year I might even be able to get a new gpu! :)

      How was it? Were you able to fit the radiator on top mount?

    • @amafi_poe
      @amafi_poe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@marieantoine didn't try, it's mounted on the side panel. temps are fine, and the case was a breeze to build in, honestly. In the end I stuffed the fan controller down the front like in the video, didn't have room on the psu cage thing.
      My only real issue with my build were the psu cables for my 700w silverstone unit. Very stiff and hard to route around stuff, if I had known it'd take 6 months to get my cpu I would've waited for the corsair sf750 to come back in stock. oh yeah, and I ended up with a Corsair Hydro H115i RGB Platinum 280mm rad aio instead of the x63, my original order got cancelled for whatever reason. Swapped the fans for 140mm noctuas, very cool and incredibly silent.

      @marieantoine 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amafi_poe I guess side panel is really the way to go for me then. Gonna build mine next month when all the parts arrive. The psu I got is cooler master v650 sfx though.
