One thing: If we’re using their fights against the others whenever they were inside of Buu to determine that Goku is stronger than Gohan, then Vegeta would have to be as well; given that Goku was fighting Gohan in only his SSJ form, and the only thing that really gave him the edge over Vegeta before was SSJ3, with there being nothing to really indicate that had changed afterwards. Even if Goku had surpassed Vegeta in SSJ2 as well, it was still only SSJ Goku fighting Gohan, and there’s nothing to suggest that the difference between SSJ Goku and Vegeta would’ve been as great as a whole SSJ transformation.

To say Kid Buu > Buuhan is too imply. Kid Buu >>>> Super Buu + Ultimate Gohan both whom are which stated to be above Super Saiyan Three Goku. Even if we play devils advocate and assume Kid Buu is holding back. He would literally have to use like 1% of his strength to match SSJ3 Goku. Furthermore, SSJ3 Goku was confident has was as strong if not stronger than Kid Buu. With him only realising otherwise due to his lack of stamina and Kid Buu's regeneration. None of which is implied within the series.

[Some points in buu saga scaling is off for real for me] 1. Fusion multiply is off, for examples + goten and trunk was stated that they are not soo far distance in power compare to gohan, and gohan is not soo far compare vegeta and goku (stated by vegeta himself about goku SSJ2 is surpasses gohan SSJ2 went against cell, and gohan after 7 years is weaker but not soo much significant) So we have: Goku = 10 Vegeta = 9 Gohan = 7 Goten/trunk = 3 And let just use standard fusion multiply as: (A + B) x50 And goku SSJ3 is x400 meaning 10 x400 = 4,000 Gotenk: (3 + 3) x50 = 300 SSJ gotenk = 300 x 50 = 15,000 Goten/trunk (after HTC) = 6 Gotenk (after HTC) = 600 Gotenk (SSJ) = 30,000 Gotenk (SSJ3) = 240,000 And majin buu is weaker than SSJ3 goku, meaning he is around 2,500 And later get separate into 2 different beings, meaning evil buu is 1,400 and good buu is 1,100 (because evil buu is significant stronger than good buu) And super buu is little bit weaker than post HTC SSJ3 gotenk And gotenk is 240,000, meaning super buu would be ~ 200,000 =basically getting x80 times stronger? And mystic gohan is stronger than gotenk, make hin asleast 280,000! (And because his potential unleashed state that is stated to be stronger than SSJ3, and SSJ3 is x400 = mystic form of gohan would as very least x500), would mean gohan PL will be as 560 BC: 560 × 500 = 280,000 (also x80 stronger than his original pl in beginning of buu arc?)! The reason why super was more interesting into fighting gohan more than goku was because the story and the narrative was shifting to him and not goku gohan was once again shaping up to be the main character again until Akira toriyama change his mind again and said the role didn't seem to fit gohan cause he doesn't like fighting and it would hard to build a story around person like that and fans might not accept character like that so he scraps the idea mid gohan and superbuu fight

I cannot comprehend why you could even suggest that Kid Buu is the strongest version of Buu. It is not true for one reason: Goku and Vegeta lose against Super Buu while Goku is on par with Kid Buu. He loses against Kid Buu because of Kid Buu's regenerative abilities. Goku after the fusion had no rest, no zenkai boost, no training of any sort nor did he receive a buff of any kind which means that Goku when he fights Kid Buu is at the same level as when he states Super Buu would kill Vegeta and him both. Daima didn't change that as one year passed between its events and the Buu saga. Gohan likely didn't train at all while Vegeta and Goku probably spar regularly and train hard which would put them above Gohan during Daima. It's also likely that since Gohan doesn't appear in Daima, the narrator just doesn't count him as a fighter at this point which would be substantiated by my previous statement. Furthermore, no event in DBS retcons Buu saga scaling in any way, shape, or form. I truly hope you can reflect on your awful take and actually start to think because even in a narrative sense it doesn't make sense. oh and before you try to argue that the fusion made them stronger after they've unfused, they would have stated it. In my opinion Kid Buu is still the strongest Buu. It’s my head cannon and I’m aware that it’s not gonna make sense. But hear me out Kid Buu probably had the Perfect Cell treatment remember in the Cell saga when Gohan literally punched Android 18 out of his body, he explodes Goku and himself, comes back even stronger, obtaining not only all the power he had absorbing both 17 and 18, but having his body being able to evolve beyond his limits on his own.Because we’re talking about a being who has fought multiple Kai’s on his own with his regular form, absorbs them, turns into the FatBuu, gets sealed away for thousands of years, gets stronger when he returns, fights a bunch of strong warriors, absorbs half of them, lose his absorb forms, and his body comes back stronger than ever in his original form while being able to keep the same power he had when he absorb them. In the manga, Goku was only stronger than Fat Buu. But in the anime, he spent the entire arc pretending to be weak so that the younger generation could handle it themselves. Although in anime Goku could beat Buuhan in Super Saiyan 2. Because in the battle with the kid Buu, Goku, who has seen all versions of Buu and Buuhan too, says that the kid Buu is on a completely different level, compared to the previous versions of Buu. And with this Buu, Goku fights in SSJ2, and they power is the same, which means that Goku stronger than Buuhan.

The Buu saga is wierd scaling wise. 1. Gohan was only a SSJ vs Dabura not a SSJ2. 2. Vegeta had SSJ2 pre Majin he gained it during the 7 year timeskip. 3. I don't believe Goten and Kid Trunks are that strong as in Yo Son Goku and Friends which is canon as Tarble is mentioned in Battle of Gods they struggled with Cado and Abo. Cado and Abo are 1st form frieza level as Tarble had no clue Frieza could transform when he said they were as strong as Frieza. 3. With Grey Boo I always had Fat Buu splitting 60%/40% with Grey Buu getting more power than Good Buu did. 4. The Diazenshuu clearly stated that Gotenks didn't surpass Vegeta until AFTER the time chamber meaning Majin Vegeta>>SSJ Gotenks pre. 5. As for how Goku and Vegeta got so strong at the end of the Buu Saga the Potara was supposed to be permanent, and the explanation for the split back then was the magic inside Buu's body seperated them. This is supported in Daima as Supreme Kai and Kibito are seperated, and stated they let Buu absorb them which seperated them. I know you're trying to explain and use the Anime version of Dragon Ball z but I just got to talk about a few of these problems. Majin Vegeta stated when Goku transforms into SSJ2, that he was stronger then his son was when he fought Cell. Meaning Goku only surpassed Teen Gohan SSj2 (Amped), who was stronger than Super Perfect Cell, in his Super Saiyan 2 state. I know you're trying to use the reasoning that Cell was in his Super Perfect Form, but you realised Cell does power down his power. Goku, who was in his Super Sayian grade 4 form when he died, was no longer in his form. Cell also has been seen heavily suppressing himself against Vegeta, Trunks, and Goku, before using his full power against Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 state. And we were told multiple times that Dabura was equal to Cell, and might be even slightly stronger due to his magic(We weren’t told if Goku was referring to Super Perfect Cell or Normal Perfect Cell, but I’m going to the latter). Gohan needed at least Super Sayian to fight Dabura and maybe SSJ2 but it wasn't ever told. And we know Dabura wasn’t giving it his all due to him toying with Gohan to gain power for Buu. We can also say from Goku words, that Gohan wasn’t able to achieve the power greater to Cell, due not training and no rage amp. SSJ 2 Goku = Majin Vegeta > SS2 Vegeta > SS2 Teen Gohan >= Super Perfect Cell > Dabura(Full Power) >= Perfect Cell >= SSJ1-2 Gohan. SSj3 Goku > Fat Buu >> Majin Vegeta > SS2 Vegeta > SS2 Teen Gohan >= Super Perfect Cell > Dabura(Full Power) >= Perfect Cell >= SSJ1-2 Gohan. 18 was definitely stronger as we see her fight both of them and was still not winning against her. As we know neither Goten and Trunks weren’t stronger, as 18 said she would need to finish this quickly. Base Vegito > Kid Buu >=< Buuhan > Buutenks > > Mystic Gohan >= SSJ3 Goku (Full Power) >Kid Buu< SSJ3 Gotenks. It was stated by Grand Kai, that Vegito was stronger than Buuhan in his base form in the anime Buuhan absorbed Mystic Gohan, who was stronger than Gotenks. Buutenks defeated Mystic Gohan easily. And now here comes the problemes: Kid Buu All I can say is, Kid Buu pushed back the Spirit Bomb that had both the power of earth, AND every Z Fighter! Meaning Mystic Gohan power was also in the Bomb. If you don’t count that against Kid Buu’s power, then he’s stronger than Gotenks but weaker than Full Power SSJ3 Goku. Why do I say Goku’s stronger? Because he never truly went all out in this whole saga due to needing time to charge his power and taking too much damage early in the fight. Goku while in his Super Saiyan 2 state in the anime that kid Buu was twice as strong as before, then would later get a times 4 boost because of Super Saiyan 3, and they were still equal. Now onto the big three’s power levels: Gotenks was said to be equal to Super Boo, and Gohan could defeat a supposedly double in power Gotenks. Goku, THROUGHOUT THE WHO ENTIRE SAGA, didn’t want to be the one to A. Defeat the Main Villain and B. Didn’t want to make Vegeta feel bad about being surpassed. Hence why he chose to let Gohan take the league and was only truly afraid of fighting Buutenks but wasn’t all too scared of Kid Buu. Goku stated on both occasions that he could have killed Fat Buu back on earth and could have killed Kid Buu at Full Power, but didn’t because he wanted the Younger Generation to have a chance and that he wanted to make it fair for Vegeta to have a chance. Only reason he could was because he was running on fumes from fighting Kid Buu earlier and the SSJ3 power drain.
