I think Bo goes Iowa. Some much history there. His styles screams Iowa, his pace screams Iowa, his connection to Spencer, young guns, and Brands. I just think it’s just fate. Bo takes what Spencer Lee left in Iowa. He finishes the Job for Iowa. Especially with how Iowa is right now, they need a new head of the program, and Bassett wants to change any Program. I think Jax goes Okie St, just because of certain things he has said. His style and how scrambly he is. You have the magic man, the person who pulls tricks out of his ass and hats constantly. I believe that will elevate Jax to where he needs to be to become a natty champ and dominate later. Also has a connect to M2 I believe (same as Bo). Marcus I believe goes to Ohio St. It’s home, closest to home, and Ohio St is building a dynasty, they have a good set of guys. Jesse Mendez taking the lead, having Rocco Welsh, and Nick Feldman there. They have both Bozuakis brothers, with Ben Davino. I think they have enough resources to develop Marcus Blaze to where he wants and needs to be. I could also see Penn St, him wanting to be the best he can be, you can never go wrong there.

He didn’t dominate Leo DeLuca. Leo was winning… he lost it in the last second. But l love Knox, one of my favorites so he would’ve still won.

Jayden James is a solid work horse for VT. KD trained has done miracles. Coach Dassan knows how to keep his guys big

Ryan Burton will make some noise. Great pick up for VT. Iron horse does a great job of developing hard nose guys

OK so I'm a big Penn state fan, but tell you what. I'd sit through a blank screen for every Penn State match as long as I could see Mitchell Mesenbrink wrestle.

Blaze to Happy Valley

Not that surprised that Vito didn’t have an offensive outburst vs Blaze. Blaze is very defensively sound, Vito had a lot on the line, knew he could not make any mistakes.. and Blaze goes in with a game plan of just standing and waiting..then that’s what that match looks like. Vito had not wrestled a match of any kind what so ever in over 6 months. Not a FS match in nearly a year. He will be fine at worlds. Blaze had the game plan of doing nothing every match and sprint at the end. Good game plan but brutal to watch. It doesn’t take away from what he did but would have liked to see him do something outside of the last 30 seconds of each match. He actually nearly lost every match except for Nahshon. First round he was down 2-2 criteria with 90 seconds left and the dude does a bone head head pinch attempt which turned into 2 and 2 for Blaze. Blaze won 6-2, Jax teched the same dude in consis.

So Japan is better than us at pretend wrestling? Cool. Freestyle sucks SOOOOO bad I cant even watch it

This team was a PSU recruiting boon. Based on personalities, I think Blaze goes to PSU, Bassett goes to Iowa, and Jax goes to Ok St or PSU. Bassett was not too happy that Ok St & PSU waited until into the next day to call him. I think the Bands did enough to get him

Ono won the Dogu he teched the 2023 61kg bronze medalist and beat Atri 4-0 who was silver in 2022. He also took second to kiyooka for the 65kg spot at japans version of nationals. He is an absolute dog.

I think Carter is so cringe because it's a fake facade. By all accounts, Carter isn't so radical in person. Because of NIL, UFC, Carter's desire to be a star, he's trying to be a "bad guy!" He's intentionally trying to stir up talk and be the center of attention. It's not natural... he's putting on a show!

Carter almost always backs up his talk... he's a 4x national champ haha. Sometimes he has ridiculous takes, but I feel like to be that good you have to have delusional confidence lol

What an incredible day of wrestling. Vito vs Blaze in best 2 out of 3 at 61kg Pantaleo vs Green in best 2 out of 3 at 70kg Marstellar vs Burroughs in best 2 out of 3 at 79kg Zahid vs DT in best 2 out of 3 at 92kg No matter how it goes, Marcus Blaze has absolutely showed out. Imagine being a senior world team member in two different weight classes before your 18th birthday.

You guys are killing me here 😂Vito is in the finals waiting for the winner of the challenge tournament. Vito has NEVER lost to Nahshan in freestyle (4-0). Vito only dropped out of trials because he wasn’t healing as a result of sucking so much weight going down to 57kg

Yianni has been written off way too early. Yianni was the 2022 World Silver medalist snapping an almost year streak of USA not medaling at any worlds or olympics at 65kg. Not too mention that we haven’t medaled since Yianni at the right weight either. Yianni lost on very suspect calls vs Nick Lee at final X in 2023. That could have easily went the other way. Then he wrestled Lee off for Pan ams and got a bad concussion he was hospitalized for. He could not train leading to Olympic trials as a result . As a result of that he had trouble making weight . Yianni is still young as hell and he will be back for this upcoming quad

My predictions… 61kg: Vito over Nahshon for 1st, Fix over Blaze for 3rd. 70kg: James Green over Pantaleo for 1st, PJ Duke over Bryce Andonian for 3rd 79kg: Chance beats Jordan and Jordan retires, Keegan over Dieringer for 3rd although I’m not as confident there. 92kg: David Taylor over Zahid, sorry Zahid, Mike Mach over Hidlay for 3rd. I think Trent will have a good freestyle career, but it’s still early

Jax Forrest beating Desanto if they see each other in the quarters. I think Desanto has a similar style to Bo Bassett with his pace and heavy hand fighting. I think Jax is prepared for this kind of wrestler and will be able to hit his slide by against an opponent that’s pressuring in so much.
