Antrelle Taylor was wrestling up last year because of Peyton Robb. He will do fine at 157 and he wrestled at 70kg (154) in the u20s last year. Bubba is also sliding down to his natural weight at 165. For Pinto and Allred, you guys have legitimate concerns in my opinion. Pinto was already one of the most explosive guys at 184, but with big gas tank issues...I don't think size is his issue. For Silas, I don't know how he's going to manage that cut over the course of a whole year. I know they said he wasn't big....but I watched almost every Nebraska dual last year and he was not a small 197. He also wrestled at 92 kg (203 lb) in freestyle. Its a big change. EDIT - and yes, I'd love to see a Nebraska preview!
10:10 Majority of the wrestling community do not know this, but AJ has been facing legal troubles since August 2022 - 2 years and a half. Legal fees are not inexpensive.
I think a good chunk know about his legal troubles, but you’re right, that ain’t cheap. Still though, he wasn’t barred from competing because of his legal issues, at least not to my knowledge.
@thatoldchesnut6550 Woods going 6th to 2nd is natural progression. Then going almost unbeatable to 4th with several losses is the Iowa way. Their guys peak way before their senior seasons and then fizzle out.
We had this talk offscreen, but plan to do one. Nebraska is playing with the lineup a bit and they are looking like they could be a really dangerous team
@@michaellong2595 That is a pretty decent pick. I can see it. Buchanan is due though. Just my opinion. Really looking forward to this season. Lots of great weight classes.
You guys are on it with these rankings! Mike & Mike Getting it done!
Mike Long bringing it every simgle show!

After his recent silver medal at U23 Worlds, I’m giving a little more edge to Cardenas than I was before.
Watch out for Steven little
Little Rock representing.

This weight is wide open. I really think that any of the top 3 from 184 could put on 6 or 7 pounds and win this weight.
Carter is a little small for 197 but I agree I think if Plott or Parker wanted to go 197 they’d do some serious damage.
Aj is a junior ?
I think technically

@@PJNSPP Okay. Bernie Truax, Max Dean, and Aaron Nagao are three recent transfers I can think of that meet that criteria.
This Mike Long guy talks too much, gotta get the duct tape out for him.
Do a Nebraska preview

Ferrari will be a bust. You can make book on it. Buchanan will win it.
I think Cardenas is gonna have a good season. Maybe him and Buchanan are the finalists at 197
