great job remebering Greg D and putting him on there! He beat Ungar their first year but then got injured. He lost last year to Ungar but that was more of a familiarity thing. He will do better than Ungar vs the field. He finally has a shot to go a full season he will do great. Despite being very undersized at the weight (yep undersized at 125) he has some of the fastest ducks and singles you will ever see. He was 16-3 last year with a 14-3 win over Sotelo (after Sotelo had just beaten Noto) and he pinned Kysen Terikina and beat Vincent Kilkeary. for original thought (8:50) toss up BEG rankings 😬 I like Lilledahl at 1 . Only time will tell. You guys are the best, thank you!
Greg beat sotelo pretty solidly, but sotelo got hurt badly the week before and never fully recovered that season. He MF at EIWA and got lucky to get the at large for NCAA
@@jackmcg0 He’s one of my confident picks for winning a title this year. Think he’s a super recruit for PSUand if he can stay at 125, will have a tremendous career. 5 is fine for now but I imagine he will finish much better than that.
@@michaellong2595 I also picked him to win the title, but I understand the hesitancy to put him that high. Blaze, another super recruit did beat Ramos, but it was an extremely tight match. As good as Lilledahl is I’m also prepared for him to struggle with the top guys and potentially lose because they’re still that good. But having Penn State’s past struggles as the reason for putting him lower is unreasonable imo. People said the same thing about Ohio State QBs in the NFL until Stroud was incredible. I think I’d have him about middle of the pack in terms of confidence in my picks
Lilledahl by far my most confident pick of any weight class (maybe kerk being a close second, I think Feldman has a chance). If there was a futures book with wrestling I’d put a good chunk on Luke anything over even money odds
Lihledahl is the courageous pick. It's easy to go with Figs but remember he lost 5 times last year. At 1 point I believe he lost 3 in a row. Spratley beat him. Figs is no lock
. Foca had trouble adjusting to the weight change last year but he put on some lbs this summer. Still when so he was a point away in the round of 12 match to still getting on podium. This is still the guy who went 30-2 the year before losing only to Starocci and Mekhi Lewis (avenging the Lewis loss) and pinning Dustin Plott in the first period. He will have a kick ass year. Watch out for Simon Ruiz at 174 this year who only lost his grey shirt year to Rocco Welsh 4-1 SV. I think Ruiz, Greg D, Ramirez, Foca, and Meyer can AA with Cornella and Fernandez making R12. Sucks that Cornell had to hand over 20 NCAA pts to Michigan with Cardenas thx to bullshit IVY rules. Only got 3 seasons out of him .
Micky Phillippi is the only guy ever to lose 4x in the blood round. I am hoping that Julian Ramirez doesn’t tie that mark this year as he has already lost in 3 blood rounds.

Luke Lilledahl at 5 is criminal
I think having him at 5 is fine, but the reasoning of Penn State not having past success at that weight for putting them there is irrational.

@@jackmcg0Wonder when Blaze is planning on committing.

Saying Luke is “unproven” is nuts dude is 2 time world champ and if I’m not mistaken still has another u20 go left before u23s if he decides to do 23s

Didn't Spratley beat Figueroa?

Lilledhal will take this fild down.
It's not beating Richie lol
@@Imsorrybeghe struggled in a pretty weak weight class. I think Luke will shock everyone
Lilledahl next 4 time champ
No Noah surtin is wild
5 of the top 9 in the big 12 is gonna be fireworks come conference tournament time
Did Stanich redshirt?
Yes
Shout out to the Yankees too!
Subway Series World Series. Only a few games away.
@@michaellong2595 I wouldn't hate that, anyone but the dodgers imo. But I hope 125 is unpredictable like last year So idk who to pick again 👍
Camacho will not AA. My pick is Noto.
I agree with the first statement
