hey i wanna ask does the wifi extender suppose to be where you play, or where your pc is? if i have the wifi extender to the pc and play in my living room (for bigger space) does that affect latency?

Thanks for making the video. There's still not enough content or applications for this product. Yes it's cool to tour the International Space Station and various cities around the world, but that gets old quickly. For specific purposes, such as a workout routine, and TH-cam 3D immersive content, definitely I enjoy the product, until my neck starts to hurt from the weight of the device. It's a great product for children and young adults; impossible to find a virtual group conversation on adult topics without children flying around the room. Very difficult to use the web browser as you've got to use the pointer to type on the virtual keyboard; very frustrating experience. Thanks again for spending the time to make the video.

Have you tried Simlab composer or Simlab VR Studio? they require no coding; they are node based easy to use and fast to learn softwares for creating immersive and impressive VR experiences.

Got a question for you i'm very confused about my new quest 3 lol I bought a cable to play PCVR ACC or ATS Question is which launcher am i supposed to use to launch game for best results ? Cause i feel like i'm running through 2-3 launcher to get to play one game Am i supposed to use Virtual desktop , Steam VR , Oculus quest base app or should i simply launch the game throughout my PC ? Unfortunately, i have a connection problem with the VD app. I install windows again, I restart the quest 3 and reinstalling the vd app on Quest 3 and the pc, but whatever I do, the vd app can't find my pc, the app problem suddenly start 1 week ago, before that I easily connect to my computer without any problem. I also don't add any app or change anything to my pc. Also, the Steam link app and air link app are working without problem, and I use them right now for my pc vr gaming. This is really ridiculous for the paid app to have this kind of problem.

I've got a question: is Virtual Desktop capable of connecting wirelessly via cable? I have a shitty wi-fi router from my ISP, which is also placed in a room far from my PC, so I believe that in my case it will have a lot of freezes while playing wirelessly.

I bought a Meta-Oculus Rift S one year before they dropped their support of this product. The Rift S worked well until I updated my computer. Now two years later and after a year of Meta stupid suggestions for getting my Rift S working again, it's still not working. I have a $400 paper weight that Meta refuses to fix even though they say my new computer should not be a problem. I cannot recommend buying any Meta products due to their lack of customer service and having a chance of the same dropping of older products support. Meta basically has no customer service and only lip service!

to anyone on the fence about getting virtual desktop in 2024, i was having crazy preformance problems playing on 5 ghz through steam link. nothing i did could fix it, not only did VD fix all the issues i had with streaming and recording but the image quality doubled and the frame rate did as well. i can now run max VD streaming settings with Max Blade and sorcery settings at a steady 80FPS and 40MS lag

I think though with ACC, for some reason over the past year or so, it's gotten worse in it's visuals in that they appear to have become more blurry overall.

Half Life Alyx is the Best VR game in the universe.

My network set up makes Steam Link unusable on my quest 2. I use the telecom Wireless AC router. There's so much artifacting and anything more than 1m away gives an unfocused myopia effect in Skyrim VR as well as lag sometimes. To be fair tho I have the same issues with Steam Link for other devices like my smartphone.

The most frustrating thing about Steam Link is using an Xbox controller. I think you just can't. Super annoying for games that require it.

Scott, we don't have to do anything, we do what we have always done, let people make up their own minds if it is misinformation or not. Governments have been spitting out misinformation throughout history. Nothing has really changed except for the delivery and reach .
