So i have a 2014 Sierra and both front heated seats do not work shows they are on but no heat they also have cooled seats and they work just fine any ideas on where to start

Just did one yesterday you can remove the heat shield and remove the manifolds without removing the exhaust manifold . Thank god what a bear that job was. Great video dude

GM 3.6L engines are nothing but garbage. I'll stick with my Buick 3800. It will run circles around that pos 3.6L.

Does the engine need to be pulled in order to do this job?

There is no glow plug relearn needed on these trucks.. cleared codes and good to go.. comes directly from gm dealer that does them all the time ....

You are able to rotate the timing backwards to line everything back up making sure it doesn’t jump time.

I own a 2020 chevy Silverado with the lm2. Currently have 96000 miles and recently got glow plugs #1 and #4 open circuit fault codes. Took it in to the dealership to see if it might be covered under the 100,000 mile powertrain warrant, it was not. Paid a $200 diagnostic fee for them to tell me that they were going to charge me $800 plus and start with the glow plug control module. I asked if they were certain that would fix it and if I would still have to pay that if that did not fix it. They told me I would still have to pay for the new one and that they were just starting with that and were not certain. I took my truck back and decided to fix it myself instead of paying them to shotgun parts at it. I found your video and started taking apart my truck to get to the glow plugs. since my truck has 96000 miles, I decided to replace all of them besides the #3 since I didn't want to remove the intake manifold. checked the resistance of #1 and #4 glow plugs and they both were high. installed all the new ones and put it all back together and no more faults. All together it really isn't that bad of a job if you just remove the intake piping and the valve in front of the #2 glow plug. The glow plugs came out really easy since I was able to spray them with penetrating oil and let them sit for a few days before removing them. Thanks for the video. I hope itll save some people some money if they can trouble shoot it and do it themselves.

I have the same van. 05 3.8L. sensor is hanging down like in your video. I assume it needs replaced. What did you do to re-attach it? I think the black plastic part under the front bumper that goes across the front came off in a snow drift...

Do you show a video on how to replace this sensor? I can not find ANYTHING online to help with this job?? I am really stuck here and I do not have a hi-end scanner but my scanner is picking up a YAW sensor issue. Is there a fuse or relay I can check before taking about the inside of the car?

I did mine and all the timing mark were precious perfect right on the dot but then i turn the engine by hand and now My timing Marks doesnt align is it something i did wrong😢😢 cant be posible like i said all my timing Marks were perfect .. you did mention at the end of this video that after you turn the engine the Marks won't align anymore how can this be posible did i didnt understand that right? Great video. My scanner only allows me to reset the Yaw sensor. Trouble code is U1826:00 "Lost Communications with multi-axis acceleration sensor module". Replaced Yaw sensor...no change. Reset doesn't clear the code. Of course Service Stabilitrac is on due to this. Not another code on the whole car. 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. Any suggestions?

I am Soooo glad I don't work on cars anymore. I did it for 18 years. No money in it, back breaking, your are a slave to the shop and most guys wanna get out but can't. Dude, idk if I'm missing something, but the zeus at our shop has issues with connectivity slow, sometimes not even able to scan anything, it freezes and won't even connect to the damn dongle. For 10K, that's absolutely unacceptable.
