Working on a crank no start 2020 l5p right now. The lift pump produces slightly under desired and the rail pressures are slightly above desired, 1087psi desired peak and 1200psi peak with the rails. When I did the return fuel test I got 200ml not 15 lol
@@PaulysAuto Fuel contamination I think and I’m gonna do the drivers side rail and see if replacement of regulator #2 does it. I have and to correct my self I’d say it lands in between the 54-65psi low side pressure. It shoots out no trouble codes and has no permanent codes. Acdelcotds tells me if it doesn’t make 1885psi it won’t start, of thats the case why does the desired fuel rail pressure not go at or above 1800 and hangs out where it does?
That’s why I get my fuel from good places that sell a lot of diesel fuel. But I would have called my insurance and let them handle it. That way everything would get replaced, like lift pump, lines, fuel filter hosing, fuel cooler, high pressure fuel pump, both fuel rails, interior lines and injectors. I’ve seen that happen with mom and pop stations that don’t sell a lot of diesel fuel and don’t maintain their tanks and fuel pumps.

I have a Chevy 22´MY 6.6 L5p that Crank but not start, The costumer told me that he just was driving on the road en suddenly the engine stop´s and never start again, I have checked low fuel pressure side, high pressure side both in to spec. checked for fault codes,.. NO FAULT CODES PRESENT. checked CKP and CMP signals both in to spec. all visually ok on my scanner everything is in to spec and no fault codes present, pressures, signals, every is ok! the only thing that I can see is the ˝Engine Controls Ignition Relay Feedback 2 Signal = 0.0V" but the 1 & 3 = 11.8V . Have you any suggestion. Thanks in advance!!!

@DarienSeminoff So what's your plan 🤔 are you worried about the rail regulator? What caused the failure in your opinion?

I have a L5p crank no start no power going to lift pump all relays and fuses are good, no codes when I scan
