@@PaulysAuto apparently they did. I have a 6t75 here also that is driving me nuts. Found secondary ignition riding on the alternator ripple. I was going to try to tune the transmission but then found this.
@@PaulysAuto I fixed one 6t75 in a 2007 model with IO Terminal. The valve body assembly was bricked by the place that installed it. Got a Virgin file and wrote that in and then programmed with SPS and all was good 💪🏻
Has torque converter operation changed in the past few years? I always thought that torque converter's clutch didn't engage until low load cruising speeds were achieved... I never imagined even the slightest engagement at idle, decel, or heavy acceleration.
Electronically controlled TCC allows them to have Variable Slip and that allows for smoother shifting gear to gear and faster response time and yes they have changed considerably.
I have a really harsh takeoff from a complete stop in a 2019 Encore, when coming to a complete stop and releasing the brakes the transmission will not re engage until you touch the accelerator pedal. Sometimes the takeoff is okay, and sometimes it almost feels like it's slamming into gear. I've had the transmission cover off already to replace the output speed sensor because it went "bad". Replaced the two plates on the valve body as well as the gasket between the solenoid body. Possible cause? Hoping a transmission removal isn't in order. Just need a direction to go in.

Those GM output shaft seal installers work pretty decent. Just put some in a 6t40 yesterday 💪🏻
Are you talking about the protectors they send with the seal, so you don't rip the seal lips when you're putting the axle in?
@@PaulysAuto yeh those blue things lol. Never seen them until I did a used 6t40 replacement due to a bad pump early this week.
