    This is the best explanation I have seen anywhere. My truck came with this problem when I bought it used 🙄. It’s been a year of dealing with it and has become part of the process of disabling it every time I drive it. Took a crack at troubleshooting and got discouraged. Thank you for making this video. I want to go back and repeat some of the steps shown here. Google searches have lead me down a lot of side rabbit holes.

      I am having intermittent UXXXX errors in a 2018 Yukon Denali that I am guessing are connector related. I am mapping out the shared components of the communications bus between the units that throw the errors. Hopefully I can track it down. Your insightful and detail oriented approach is very much appreciated.

    Great info...., thanks. Question, I have a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD, started to get "Rear Sensors error, Service Parking assist, and the swith on the center consol would flash on and off rapidly (the on/off light) and then stays off... somethimes the system would work normally then suddenly display the Service PA message. The very weird part of this is that it happen when I was braking or coming to a stop..., go figure. I am thinking the flashing indicator light when attempting to turn it on is a huge clue as well as the braking thing. All sensors are pulsing as expected and after seeing your video I am leaning towards the K41 as the issue... BTW, where is that module? Following you, good stuff man.... ( correction, the warning comes on when the truck goes below 10 mph while braking) ... Can not locate the module, can you help? Thanks... Ken

    Impressed
    Not an auto mechanic myself
    Been a designer of complex electronics for years and upon fault correction requirements I know about the proper understanding, break down diagnosis and out side the box/anti cookie cutter thinking require to efficiently resolve problems.
    You did it perfectly and accurately using a well thought out procedure.
    I would recommend and watch anything automotive that you do. Bravo.
    Now one request if possible
    Could you post a link to a REAR wiring diagram similar to the wiring diagram for front harness used in the video from the radar control module to the four sensors
    My similar problem exists in the rear of my 2015 Cadillac escalade
    Off to make my device for load testing the pin junctions………….thanks again

      I appreciate the comment. I can't post content like that I wish I could but that would be a violation of information that doesn't belong to me.
      I share what I can to help people learn. I don't want to get in the habit of providing wiring diagrams for people upon request.
      I hope you understand this, these resources are readily available for anyone who pays the price for the access to the information.

    Do the rear parking sensors on these trucks need to be placed back in the same location in the rear bumper if they have been removed? Or does placement order not matter?

    • @PaulysAuto
      @PaulysAuto  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      no they are interchangeable...but the mounting bracket rings may differ 😁😉

    How do i know which orientation the sensors themselves should pointed. my sensors keep going off and theres nothing in front of the truck. I have a feeling one of the sensors is upside down. I recently removed my bumper and re-installed but didnt touch the sensor harnesss. doesn't mean one of them couldnt have accidentally been turned upside down. any help would appreciated 2017 GMC Sierra Denali L5P

      I wish I could help you and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner but be careful with how much paint is over the top of them Sensor faces... I suppose orientation could be an issue I can't remember I don't think those can be installed in the incorrect position.

    I have a 14 with that message on my cluster as well even after changing all 4 rear sensors. I don’t have the scanner to show those codes what should I do next? The module?

    • @PaulysAuto
      @PaulysAuto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best thing to do is get it scanned and find out what those codes are in the park system control module so you're not chasing the problem. Just changing parts is not something that should drive diagnostic work or the process. You really do need a capable scan tool here.
