Came from the shark base video to this video. You have some nice builds around here. About this video. It had too many close ups on bullets and arrows for my liking, but the execution was still good. Just not sure about the cinematic necessity. If you highlight the key shot to a fight that changes the wipe with a cinematic shot like this, it's enough. You said that you enjoy working on stuff and figuring things out, so I blame your curiosity and excitement about all the new things you explored editing this. You're forgiven. 😉

I just played my first “purge” day and first wipe on a 5x server (Monster Den) Have learned a lot. Like: doors are the weak link I will try doing something like this. The difference here is that in 5x, raiders have near unlimited explo, so they must be counterattacked. Let me know if you have any other thoughts about this. I’m a super noob and want to learn

These kinds of vids always irritate me because they're almost impossible to consistently replicate (even your first few steps of the build aren't correct, they've been dismissed and scoffed at on Rust's Building Bulletin discord), take ages to try and setup in the open, which means people are gonna kill you, have a hundred and one different caveats and what-ifs and even then, seem to fail for some reason or other, which ends up being discovered by some rando on discord two weeks later, when the wipe's already over. No wonder nobody likes fishing except on weird, non-vanilla servers and why the devs buffed fish traps.

What was the use of varying hight? How does it help. Can it be done without that gap. This is bit more advanced than previous version. Not viable for pvp map. Great for pve

As a trap basist, this is huge. especially now that door controllers are nerfed.

Has anyone gotten this base to work after force wipe? I tried building it 2 times but the bobber just despawns when the door hits it.

base was a little finicky to build but boo boo mushu was able to help coach me through my mistakes in discord. Totally worth it and earned a subscriber! thanks again!

Im enjoying the fish trap buffs, roam around, kill animals/players, run monuments, night time comes shack up and watch easy scrap roll in

Nice video! A constructive comment/idea that would be cool to implement in your base building videos is to make a little overview/tour of the base (either at the end or start, doesn't really matter), even if we usually know which base it is, it would help to recognize it faster :)

i would love it if you could go in to depth on the changes done to survival fish traps. thank you.
