The majority of it is just redoing everything until you can't improve it anymore. I do plan on starting a second channel later this year that will have more gameplay focused stuff though, so i'll likely also have TAS content on there similar to what you're describing. TAS Comp is also a good way to practice. We just finished the first task for this year, but there should be another one starting in a week or two if you're interested

Yeah this can happen randomly depending on your approach angle. The way i did it here was a setup i found a couple of years ago for how to get it more consistently

@MKWilliam I was just so baffled by it and wondered if I could do it online for an easy shortcut (pre online shutdown) But unfortunately it was not easy To the point where I couldn't replicate it on 150cc but I'm glad to know that it can be done consistently

Yeah, it depends on the track. There was fairly limited good footage to work with on this track after I'd recorded using all the possible in-game angles

Yes, rubber banding does exist in this game, but i believe it's based primarily on their position. So even if everyone is basically next to each other, the CPU in 8th will have a much more powerful rubber banding effect. In practice, that makes it one of the easier games to beat the CPUs

This video was also the reveal of the strategy to the mk7 community, so the bait phrase you're referring to actually went down extremely well with them because many of them genuinely did think this would never happen. As far as anyone in the community was concerned prior to this, this mystery HADN'T been solved. As for the other things, I'm 99% sure i didn't repeat myself at all during this video. I spent quite a long time working on this script so that it could come together in the way I wanted, but I guess it's possible I missed something. Saying I talk slow is definitely fair though, I like watchings things that are a little bit slower, so I pace my content to how I would want to watch it. If it's too slow, you can always set it to 1.25x or 1.5x speed :). I'm glad you were still able to enjoy it though!

I’m glad you made it for the MK7 community specifically (and even more glad they loved it!) but I was having the same issues he was having watching it. It’s not necessarily that it’s too slow; it just feels a little like generic TH-cam essay stuff, and I hope you can do better! Didn’t really have a grand point here, I just thought I’d reinforce the idea smelting moon had. Good video (but it could have been better), hope the constructive criticism is helpful!

MK7 a lot more broken than most people realize. I grew up with both this and mkwii, and while mkwii is definitely more broken, this game is definitely overlooked in that regard
