It's hard to believe that these aer the same inputs! Good job on bringing a MK7 version of Kiero's challenge! It would be a nice CTGP-7 mod since dual screen can make this possible
That's actually a good point, although the bottom screen would have to be lower quality. Not sure how feasible that would be though since it would essentially be running the game twice
This video came out way better than I expected, I honestly wasn't sure if it would even be possible to stay on the track for both of them the entire time, the fact I was able to do that and also finish both in under 2 minutes was crazy to me
I wish I could do the same as you it looks great and sick what you did on Rainbow Road. I heard that Nintendo is shutting down the eShop for the 3DS and Wii U they are going to close down in March so one point in the future they probably won't make games for the 3DS anymore but I will still remember the 3DS as a handheld I used to use in the past, bit sad shutting it down for the 3DS but we all have to move on to the Switch eventually
You can go frame by frame and see that it doesn't at the start. There are slight differences in the timer throughout the entire run because the game runs at 60 frames per seconds, so there can be variations in the timer of up to a frame (.016), but the inputs are completely in sync
@@MKWilliam it looks nice and unfortunately I can not play the Mario kart 7 time trial because my brother deleted my progress so I have to start over :(
Completing 2 tracks with the same inputs normally isn't very difficult, just complete one track, then afterwards do the other, however here it's impressive how 1. You got very far on 3DS RR before finishing SNES RR 2. You didn't fall off once on either of them until after finishing their respective race
Yeah, it isn't really possible to finish both at the same time on these tracks since SNES RR is so much shorter. I could have also stayed on after the race had finished, but it was faster for the overall time to fall off, and my thought with that was that the race is already over, so I didn't really feel like I had to stay on at that point
I plan to do that eventually, but there's a project I have in mind to do alongside it so it won't be any time soon. Basically, ghost files still work id you just rename them, so it's just about swapping the ghost file back and forth repeatedly to see how the run is progressing
Creo que en realidad hay un video de los 4 primeros juegos de mario bros que se completan con las mismas entradas, así que probablemente sea más parecido a eso
how can u make 2 tracks at the same time? with something installed on ur 3DS or with 2 3DS?? i wanna do the same thing because it's sooo impressive! (and also very hard) nice job!!
Thank you! I was using citra emulator and a code that allows for you to copy the ghost inputs and then take over at any point. So I would drive a little bit on one track, save the ghost, transfer the ghost to the other track, and see what was going on on the other track. It was a lot of trial and error
@@MKWilliam Do you use like a 3ds to "export" the rom to the computer or something? I really want to play mario kart 7 on pc but I'm not sure if I actually need a hacked 3ds or something
You can't just do one then the other though because you'd fall off, it'd be slower, and it's not really the challenge. I've done one with finishing at the same time before, but these tracks are too far apart in length for that to be realistic
That is really impressive, especially on a track without walls
Thank you!
Usually I'm not a huge fan of this concept but this one is actually very impressive
Thank you :)
Why would you not be a fan of it? It’s fricking cool

Very impressive. It's honestly surreal to even think that this was even possible.
Yeah, this was really cool to work on, although it was pretty difficult to figure out how to do it in parts
I couldn’t stop smiling, this was amazing lmao
thank you so much :)
This is such a fun concept to watch, you did amazing!
Thanks!!!
I know this is a TAS, but 0:53 blew absolutely my mind 🤯, it should have been extremely difficult to do that!
You don't actually have to hold the A or Y button while in a glider in this game which helps with it a lot
What is tas
@@Deybala._. TAS = Tool Assisted Speedrun. It's a way to make perfect runs with a computer, going frame by frame and input by input.

thanks to you and endo I was able to copy some things from your tas runs and do them online, thank you! :)
Nice!
Do it with Bowsers castle and Mario circuit to!
Maybe, it's a concept that is quite tedious and can take a while to create so i don't know when i would want to do another one lol

I love how the karts start going in different directions because of the stick going insane.
SNES Rainbow Road is completely flat, so it takes different lengths to land in certain parts which let me be able to steer in opposite directions
This is actually incredible
Thank you! This was one of my favorite videos that i've worked on tbh. Although it was difficult, idk if i would do it again XD
you're the magician of TASing, that one was pretty funny to watch
Thank you :)
This is an ultra shortcut 0:53
Technically it's a glitch not an ultra shortcut since there's a specific definition of an ultra shortcut but yes
Insane TAS!
Thank you!
This is one of my all time favorite concepts. Thanks for your conceptualness!

This is awesome dude. Nice work

I love both of these tracks and I'm not sure why
I think they are both pretty iconic rainbow roads
this is beautiful
ive watched this 6 times now

全く役に立たない凄技だけど、本当に絶句するくらいすごかった…
凄いかっこいい!

This TAS actually just beats my 2016 RR time by 5 seconds playing rRR at the same time
XD

Lmao the MKWii idea is now in 7
Well i did expand upon it a little, as far as i know this is the first time it's been done for 3 laps lol
Now you got to beat both at the same time lol
I did that on toad circuit and Luigi raceway, but the actual driving was bad in that lol

It definitely took a while, it was a really hard but really rewarding project :)

@@MKWilliam it looks nice and unfortunately I can not play the Mario kart 7 time trial because my brother deleted my progress so I have to start over :(
Bro said "Turn right to go left"
sounds normal to me
You should do the same track twice with the same inputs but one sreen has max handling and one screen has minimum handling
That sounds pretty difficult. I don't think it's something I'd upload to TH-cam, but it could be cool to stream myself making that or something
Falling off at the end to finish was just flexing wasn’t it
And also slightly faster XD

Of topic: I do Mario kart Wii ShroomLess time trails
lol

I did think about doing that, i'll consider it. It probably won't be soon though since I have several other videos planned
do it with bowsers castle next
Bowsers castle and what other track? Part of why i didn't make another of these was not having good track ideas (+ it's pretty tedious)
I mean there is
Bowser castle and GBA Bowser castle 1 and
Mario circiut and SNES Mario circiut 2
