Not the most optimized TAS since this is a track i'm not very good at in general, but still an improvement. Not sure whether or not the landing from the glitch can have a better angle, I believe you can get the glitch itself faster however. Improvable, but not terrible

Mario Kart 7 has been living in the shadow of Mario Kart Wii for many years now in terms of how broken it is, the shortcuts that exist both in TAS and RTA and how wacky the physics are. But now I reckon is it's time to shine and show the world that it matches Mario Kart Wii in terms of how broken it is and how wacky the physics are too.
I wouldn't say they are equally broken, I think wii definitely has a lot more that is possible due to how the checkpoints work for that game and the level of exploration that is possible in general, but 7 is definitely very broken considering the limitations of the game

Is the strat where you hop over the glider ramp at the end actually viable RTA? It looks precise, but you did it so i assume it definitely saves time, for a flap run, anyway.
it's slower than a newer strat where you wallboost while in the glider

I’m a dummy when it comes to MK7 (as i am mostly just a part of the MKWii TAS community) and I was wondering if you use anything like TAS code when making these runs? If you din’t know, TAS code is a tool in MKWii where you can take control of a ghost at any time in a run.
I did TAS comp task 13, i've used TAS Code before :). It's being worked on, but currently we only have slowdown and savestates

I believe it is faster if you aren't using a heavy glider since you can get a wall boost
