Watching now. I had very similar results when i changed my plugs. Milage actually went down about 1-2 mpg. Also when i was in colorado last year I was getting about 27 mpg while driving above 7,000 feet. Got about 350 miles to a tank. First time it happened i thought I forgot to reset my odomometer. Did about 350 to a tank all summer. Went to texas after that and a tank dropped to about 250-270 miles per tank. What steikes me funny is I was really winding the 5 speed up to get any power at that elevation and the car acted like I lost anout 25 percent power when I was there but my fuel millage improved greatly.
I have an 05 CRV, so same engine.. I'm the original owner....I have noticed I get less MPG for the last 5 years than I used to...same NGK plugs...maintained...same name brand Gas Station for refueling...what gives??? My friends and I have discussed the falling MPG issue. Is there just less energy density in the current fuel blend?...Are new plugs made differently? Time will tell...
You have some good content Clint. Thanks man 👍👍🍻
Thanks 👍
I’ve tracked every drop of gas put into my element and never broke 22.2 so when you said 25 I was questioning the math.
Something was off for sure.

27? That's crazy!!
@@clintsearcy3252 I still can't explain it. I thought having to work harder would sacrifice milage.

@@clintsearcy3252do it. Im curious now too.
287 miles and you only refilled 10 gallons? Your math got screwed up somewhere
I think you may be right.
