I just got my set of irons and noticed that the hosel/neck of the clubs are different and has jagged edges. This makes the swing sound completely different and strange. Take the 8 iron and 9 iron. Swing both in the air. You'll hear the difference. Anyone else notice this? It sounds like there's a lot more drag in the air swinging the 5-8 irons, but the 9 and wedges have the smooth/normal hosel.

What is your chest size ?

There are simply too many variables to answer this question by swing speed alone. Driver loft, swing speed, delivery, angle of attack, etc etc. all play a part in an informed ball choice. And that means getting fitted. I’m a 5 handicap with a low swing speed of 92mph average driver. 70mph 7 iron. TP5x has been the best performer for me from fairway to green. I fell for the old slow speed soft ball adage for years and used Wilson soft balls. The difference when I switched to TP5, ProV1 and the X versions was dramatic. If in doubt, get fitted. But there is no one size fits all by swing speed. Golf is far too subtle a game for simple answers like that.

Like your video. Thank you for your recommendations. I was recently fitted for the Qi irons. I liked them a lot but waiting to see if there's something else out there that would be better for my game. I am 65 yrs old and a 14 hcp. At my age, I' like to stay consistent yet get back down to a single digit hcp. My current irons are the Callaway Mavrik irons 4 thru AW. I seem to hit them high which is why I like them. I'd like to see a comparison like: Taylormade Qi vs Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke irons. I've always liked Callaway so before I migrate to these Taylormade Qi's, I'd like to get your thoughts on these 2 head to head. Thank you.

Cool I like these vlogs with really nice courses. its cool maybe vlogs with more regular courses where you can film a bit easier. Similar to Rick, BD, or GG. They probably coordinate with the course in advance to film but something to consider as your page grows. Keep it up :)

So you don’t know. Idiots…

My driver head speed is around 108 (and am working on more speed) and high spinning balls sail right for me. I hit the Kirkland V3's for 6 months and everything sailed right off the driver face. I hit the ProV1's (yellow) and I've never hit farther and straighter. And also get a few more yards out of my irons. I now carry both balls in my bag. I hit the kirklands with irons on high risk holes (major water, etc) and hit the ProV's on basically everything else. Lol! 😂

im a 9.7 handicap thats really struggling with driver. i get high swing speeds 110+. im very interested if this may be the driver for me to help get control. i feel thats the biggest part of my game thats lacking and i could probably gain a few strokes if i could consistently stroke the short grass

If you go with a G.I. Iron for your 4 and 5, does it leave a big yardage gap to your “non G.I.” 6 iron?

Was fitted for a full set of Max Fast irons just a few days ago. I'm 48 and have two bad shoulders (old sports injuries), so I just can't swing very hard anymore. These clubs have enabled me to play a competitive game of golf for the first time in 30 years. I'm actually having fun with this game again!

Super enjoyable to watch. If your looking for feedback… you guys have a lot more opportunities with brotherly humor, some abrupt cuts after a joke would really add to the comedic relief of the vids. Also the narration is good but hard to follow when it’s on top of the vlogs audio. It may be beneficial to have a third guy just to film.

Enjoy your videos guys keep it up! The Golfholics were OGs in the courses vlog back in the day they sadly don't make them anymore but how they did them was great. Explain what yardage and what they are hitting between all shots.
