Originally got fitted for the Ping…. Ordered. Couldn’t stop turning it over on course. Now had the QI10 Max for a month or so and can’t stop finding fairways. Sounds better, looks better, goes better. Ping will hold its value better, that’s about it

I finally upgraded my RBZ to a Stealth 2 Plus when the Qi came out and the Stealth prices crashed when people were trading them in for the new model... Best time of the year to get clubs...

Great review. I agree with everyone you picked except I think the standard black ops is more forgoing that the Pxg tour head. The standard is 10000 akso in standard setup
You missed on this one, PING is the best driver out there for Mid Handicappers.. Don't be mad because you only received one driver from them. Did you change the shaft on the PING like you did for the cobra to match your swing?
Did you try any of the standard “made for” shafts or are they all garbage? After spending $600 on the Q10 with their Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 5, it’s hard to justify +300 for a custom shaft.
Yeah it does get expensive quick. With how many stock shafts are offered you can usually get fit into a "Stock Shaft" but the upgraded ones have higher quality materials and are more stable. But depends on budget and player. Stock shafts can fit a lot of amateur golfers.
I find it crazy how much people talk about the QI10 Max. I had it for two weeks and sold it. Maybe I had a hidden defect in it, but it was absolutely trash for me.Maybe the head design and face don’t suit me, I honestly don’t know, and even putting a different shaft did nothing. I’d hit my old 580XD 100 yards farther and dead straight, my new burner mini same thing, no problem ripping my 3 wood of the ground, but just couldn’t make the max work for me. I’d really like to try the core version, cause the head and face design is much more what I’m used too. I’ve been fitted for my p790s, but didn’t for my driver, cause everyone said how good the max was. But for me, not at all, and just another reason why getting fitted for every club is important
I think Driver fitting is essential. The shaft makes almost as much difference as the head your hitting. Thanks for sharing your info though, that will help others seeing your perspective 👌
So question I bought a Mizuno ST-X Platinum 10.5 head with a UST Helium 4f2 shaft because it was being sold brand new for $149. My drives only went 190-210yds at the time because I had a major slice. I got it straightened out and my yardage now is 245-265yards. Problem is I only swing at like 60% power because I was scared of the slice but since straightening it out I am having power control issues so my front to back dispersion is getting crazy. During a scramble last weekend I swung like 90% without thinking and the ball carried almost 280yds only reason I knew carry distance was because we watched it carry into the bunker we normally never get close to. so should I keep using the A-flex shaft for now and see where my club speed normalizes at then get a driver fitting, or go talk to a fitter and see what they think?
You could do that, or you can get a fitting and just get a new shaft for that same head. Sounds like the head is working out ok for you. Thanks for watching

Got fitted with the q10 max and it was a huge improvement over my Cobra F9. It was almost a tie between the q10 max and the Ping G430 10k max but the numbers in the end of the fitting favored the q10 but it was almost a coin toss between the two. Both great drivers! I did not get along with the AI smoke max. Did not like the shape of the head.
I LOVE my 10k. But it’s a shame Ping doesn’t want to work with y’all and I would have to agree for being a high MOI head it seems to fit the lower handicap player better with speed and spin. Surprisingly it spun less then the 430 MAX which was a pleasant surprise.
What is the most silent/dull sounding driver? I suffer from some hearing problems so the sound is important for me, and i am looking for the most silent one

Hard to beat a K15 ping driver, it's hard to miss a fairway with one, maybe a few yards short but out of the trees. Do a old school driver competition.

Keep up the great work..like the clarity if the new camera.. as for what to name the new room, my suggestion is “ The GolfBunker” cause it’s a constant battle to get better at golf and it’s perfect place to get away from all the trolls.. god bless and keep up the great work.

Tried em all. Cobra dark speed max is great. Feels great looks great. I still have it but I bought ai smoke max cause I love the look at address better and like being able to move weight to toe. Probably sell the cobra. Value the mizuno stg 220 can't be beat. Taylor made blah. Ping lacks adjustability.

@@embersgolf awesome, we played the PGA West and wow that was a beautiful challenge. only cart path so the course was very well maintained and most holes were at least a little hilly so plenty of exercise to tire me out lol but if i ever get the chance to play there again i would love it, great service and plenty of other options with a huge practice putting green and top golf type range and a couple bars there as well for after...golf lovers disneyland imo 👍

Qi10 was my least favorite driver. 9mph ball speed less with that driver and hate the feel of how firm it was.
Callaway AI SMOKE in my bag……. 6 hcp here! It’s way better than any other and I tried them all …… so easy to hit

Yes we did. And ping gave us nothing. We went to golf galaxy and bought it full price!

The new 10k by taylormade is Dull/ Soft sounding. Otherwise they all have a pretty decent "Crack" when hit.

Using the Mizuno ST Max. I did shorten the shaft by an inch as I found the original a little long. Very forgiving.
