Good review gentlemen! If you liked the feel of the TP5, I would recommend trying the Tour Response. Especially with the alignment stripe for putter alignment.
great review guys would love to see a non tour ball top 5 such as ( Callaway ERC soft , Taylormade tour response stripe , Taylormade speedsoft ink , Titleist AVX , PXG Extreme ) would love to see the numbers you guys get with these balls also the Srixon Q-Star divide again love your reviews be safe and be well cheers from Vulcan Canada
@@embersgolf awesome i will be watching for it would also be awesome if you give SPANKY a shout out ( my nickname for 40 years now come from the little rascals )
I currently play the speedsoft and like it a lot but I'm starting to get to the swing speed where I can see a benefit of the premium ball. Thinking of trying TP5 or Chromesoft seems like TP5 always ends up at the top of a lot of people.
Played with the Chrome Tour X last week and drove it farther than I normally do, and I almost had a hole in one on a par 3 (16" from the pin). I normally play Chrome Softs but I already have low spin, so I actually wanted to increase some spin to try and help me hold greens which I believe the Tour X has helped me achieve this. Still need more testing, however so far so good with them.
Awesome review! I would love to see the club speed or smash factor which would give us how different were the swing between golf balls.. I believe that from that position we can understand better if difference in data is from golf ball or golf club speed was a factor in distance.
I have 103 mph driver swing speed and play the left dash. Hands down my favorite ball. I’m 10 yards longer with driver and with the low spin, I hit a lot of fairways and my misses are way less severe. Plenty of green side spin for me as well! It did take me a few rounds to get over the firm feel, but love it now and can’t see myself switching anytime soon.
I’m at 95 mph with driver and have seen the same. Easily 10 yards more with driver, and minimal distance loss with the irons, compared to a lower-compression ball. I was surprised how quickly I got used to the firm feel! When I hit a Tour Response ball after a week of playing the Left Dash it felt like a nerf ball.
Hi guys did you guys do a review on the Black OPS fairway woods. Yet ? Or compared then to the Gen 6 Fairway woods. Would love to see the numbers. I wanna get a 4 wood and a 7 wood. Trying to decide between those and between the Taylormade Qi10 Max or Cleveland Launcer XL woods. Look forward to you opinions. Thx guys
The regular chrome tour is my favorite ball right now. Low spin and soft feeling. Standard tp5 feels good but spins higher. If your a high spin player and swing 100-105 the Callaway chrome soft and even tour is hard to beat. And I’ve never been a Callaway golf ball guy but the new stuff is great.
T.U.R.T.L.E. Power! Lol….. great job guys! Tell Tate I will take all the Chrome Tours he doesn’t want 😂😂😂 I am digging last gen’s TP5X, haven’t had a chance to try the new version. Great job as always! Thanks for the content!
@@embersgolf I think they would be worth a test! Maybe get a test box before stocking the store of course. They are pretty affordable (premium ball is only $35 a dozen), and were created by Dean Shell (co inventor of the Pro V1).
I have played most balls and with my slower 75-77 mph swing speed I have found a softer ball better and chose the Maxfli Soft Fly from Dicks sporting goods ( only in USA ) but they're a great price, putt well, travel as far as my peers and Im never changing away. $1.50 a ball and fantastic value.
Great review. Interesting choices to test. Not sure I agree with using the LA Golf balls just cause they are on average $15 more per dozen than all the rest and that can turn a lot of people off paying that much more for a ball that is very comparable to the others. I game the Bridgestone Tour BX and love them over the ones you tested. Just shows ball fitting is just important as club fitting.
So we really liked it in our original testing over a year ago. I switched to the regular a star and Tayte did the XV. Now the diamond fits right in the middle I think that’s why it’s so popular and it’s a fantastic ball
Love the review. All of your content is great. After y’all get done watching the original Ninja Turtle movie Tate can send me his Srixon he’s no longer using.
Great video, love the style (replace Diet Coke with millers or something - don’t hate me, just throwing a random name out there). You guys should talk about how not all 7 irons are built the same….my numbers are about 2 years old, but for example, I hit a 7 iron total 185yrds w/carry of 178-180, ball speed of 125mph (7-10mph faster than your video), spin rate of 5600 (in line with the video), and a launch angle of 20 degrees (same as video). So for amateurs, who are technical and like numbers, it would be important for those to understand that not all 7 irons are built the same.
i would like to see you guys do this with balls the consumer is most likely to pay for. like walmart balls. nitros, bridgestone E12, vice tour, callaway warbird, srixon softfeel. pick some balls players actually play just based on price and not performance. this probly made no sense but people like us who take the game seriously, will pay for top performing balls, but most players on the course, aren't willing to go higher than $30 just on price. which has nothing to do with handicap btw
I’m going to propose that all golf Media, When speaking in reference to the little round things, we love to hit and chase be all one word “golfball/golfballs” The pun has to be at least 500 years old, but it’s impossible for it not to cross your mind each and every time The players, fans, TH-camrs, etc. Speak on the little round bastards

Come on down and get em!
Great review guys, I like the TP5x as well they really hold the line better in the wind for me!
Totally agree! Thanks for sharing Nick 👍
I tried the TP5x and I fell in love with the feel. Out of all the ones I’ve tried when I hit the TP5x it just feels right
Love it! Its been a very popular ball 👍
I agree with Tayte. It’s great hearing your rationale on the gamer, Trev. I also agree with your thoughts on yellow white markings for sight alignment
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching Chet 🙌🏼
Guys greetings from Manchester England. Like the depth of this review. Taking all into account. Trev, don’t look so stressed! Like all, your content.

I’ve had the best drives with tp5x and a vice pro plus

I'm shallow because the graphics on the srixon have kept me from gaming them. They always just look like rangers!
Yeah, I wish Srixon would come out with some kind of images or styles on there balls other than the Divide. But they are great balls for sure 👍
