i like the fact that this is a movie where superman is introduced into a world where there are already superheroes, villians and monsters already. Although Cavill's suit is awesome, this suit is paying homage to the original suits so i'm cool with it.

The film is set in a universe (DCU) where heroes are already active by the time Superman begins his journey. Woahhhh you're the first reactor i've ever heard say "this is the best one yet" 🤣 this movie def holds a special place in my heart when i was a kid it was my favorite xmen movie cuz it was easier to understand the plot as a kid compared to now, the first xmen trilogy is better than origins but the bad cgi and bad use of deadpool are the reasons this movie gets downplayed.

Alkali Lake is in the interior of British Columbia Canada. Look it up on Google Maps. The lake isn't an Alkaline lake but there is fossil evidence of an Alkaline lake at the top of the waterfall -- hence the name. In case you didn't suspect it --- the dam is still there intact and functional --- its just not as big as in the movies.

That slow electricc guitar versiion of the original John Williams SUPER MAN theme is a great innovation. Same music, new interpretation. Mr. Williams must be proud.

Forget Star Wars and Transformers

So glad you liked this movie and didn't give into the general 'opinionated hatred'. (I like this movie a lot as well.) It's really nice to see somebody able to come up with his/her own opinion. One thing that you have to understand is that the whole superhero business is fiction and the writers can "do what they please" with the characters. However!!!! I do understand why people crave consistency and continguiousness. People actually like the smart-ass homicidal maniac Deadpool and wanted him to be the same in the movies -- got disappointed that he wasn't - and on that single fact decided to hate this movie. I'll be continuing with you coverage.
