Atleast the actor for JarJar was a grown adult, but Anakin was just a child in his first ever role. I don't get how anyone can be so cruel in general, but especially to a little kid. It's only been in just the last few years that he's entered the public eye again to any degree and doing the occasional meet and greets/conventions. Hell, they did the same thing to Hayden.. it's only recently that all 3 (and the prequels in general) have started to get the credit they deserved all along. It's sad and depressing how so called 'fans' of a franchise act behind a screen... and unfortunately, the people who act like that are always the loudest and have the biggest effect, even though they're the minority of the fan base who acts like that.
Vader never searched for his offspring because he believed that his unborn baby had died with Padme. During Padme's funeral procession, her "baby bump" was still noticeable, no doubt as a deception. Vader would assume that she had never given birth.
@@Prince_the_OneThey probably just thought: "If we don't give her a bump, she won't look like a woman who just gave birth". If only they knew the next generation would be so ignorant about basic facts of life, there's actually people who think the bump is a counterintelligence measure.
General Grievous is actually a Cyborg not a Droid. In his back story it is explained that he was once a humanoid being. Now he's been augmented with cybernetic parts.
The reason General Grevious doesn't have red light sabers is because all his lightsabers are trophies he collects from every jedi hes killed. Imagine Grevious as a cyborg version of a predator he was terrifying to see and not many survived to tell the tale as he was known as the jedi killer during the clone wars. He looks like a coward against a main character like Obi-Wan but he's a menace for not being force sensitive
When you said that the guy (Count Dooku) who is fighting both Anakin and Obi is a badass, in real life he was a WW2 vet and a Nazi hunter after the war so yeah he is badass his name is Christopher Lee.
The greatest Star Wars film ever. The greatest duel is between Obi-Wan and Anakin... The emotional Shakespeare-esque tragedy of the fall of Anakin and the rise of Darth Vader... The fall of the Jedi and Republic and the rise of the Empire... While Anakin did horrible deeds and lost himself to the dark side, his emotional and mental state is something to mention... The way of the Jedi is to detach from possessions and emotional ties is Anakin's biggest struggle... Qui-Gon knew that Anakin needed a father figure so when he died, that was already the start of sealing Anakin's fate... He lost his mother because the code of the Jedi didn't allow him to do anything for her and as soon as he got the chance to sneak off the reservation, she died in his arms and so he promised he wouldn't allow something like that to happen again and the whole time growing up, Palpatine was grooming him and had him wrapped around his finger and manipulated him... Palpatine manipulated the war too from the get-go... Used that to push himself into power with the struggle of Naboo in Epi I... He played the long game and won... The revenge of the Sith... But A New Hope is born at the end of the film...
It has been heavily Theorized and might even be confirmed in the Novalasation of this movie. But its believed the reason Padma dies is because Lord Sidious aka Palpatine was draining her life in order to keep Anakin alive long enough to get him in the suit. So he was killing her, to keep vader alive.

@@MOONPOPPERS The Jedi actually gave Anakin plenty reason for him to doubt them in the Clone Wars Anakin pretty much did everything the Council told him even when he didn't agree with it and then they still didn't make him a Master in episode 3 when the time came and also they became complacent and very arrogant and did many things especially during the CW that were against the Jedi code and everytime Anakin went to them for help they just brushed him off case in point when Anakin went to Yoda and told him he was having visions of death for someone he cared for Yoda just basically said forget about it just let them go because they become part of the force so be happy about that like come on and then after they deny him being Master they ask him to lie and spy on the one person who is telling him he deserves to be a Master which is Palpatine so if the Jedi hadn't become so lost of their ways during the CW then Palpatine wouldn't have been able to manipulate Anakin so easily I'm not excusing Anakin's actions I'm just saying the Jedi pretty much pushed him right into Palpatine's clutches and he was playing 4d chess so he saw that and used it to his advantage and was able to trick Anakin by dangling the hope that he could help him save Padme and how the Jedi don't trust him which to be fair they really started losing trust in him even after he was doing everything they wanted and after he told Windu Palpatine was in fact the Sith lord they were looking for they STILL didn't trust him so that was basically the last thing Palpatine needed to secure his hold over Anakin and plus him still saying he could help him save Padme but in the end he got Anakin to turn and then Padme died because of it and Anakin didn't kill Padme the 2 theories are that Padme died of a broken heart and the more likely one is that Palpatine drained her life force so Anakin would lose her and then never go back to the light and never turn against him
Anakin believed that the “baby” (he didn’t know it was twins) died when Padme did, so he had no knowledge of their existence, and therefore had no need to search for anything. Other than Jedi that survived Order 66 that is…
Revenge Of The Sith is my absolute favorite out of the prequels. The double climactic lightsaber duel that takes place toward the end of the movie, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader VS Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and Yoda VS Emperor Palpatine on Coruscant in the Senate chamber are top-notch across the board. Musical score, fight choreography, visual effects, audio effects and emotional impact. I give them all an A+.
Yoda mentions Qui-Gon at the end. While not described in this movie, this is the setup that explains why Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin become force ghosts in the original trilogy (while all the Jedi here just die). Have to give Lucas credit for choosing some dark and violent scenes, but it was his story and he wanted to tell it.
Thanks to you both! 🌋 I recommend watching SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY (2018) next, then the live-action tv series OBI-WAN KENOBI (2022). Both take place a decade after REVENGE OF THE SITH. Then jump forward 6 years after RETURN OF THE JEDI and do THE MANDALORIAN (2019 through current), THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT (2021) and AHSOKA (2023 through current)... then jump forward another 24 years and get to the sequel trilogy. Then go back a hundred years before the prequels and do THE ACOLYTE (2024). Then do the most grown-up and highest quality of them all in my opinion, ANDOR (2022 through current). The 2nd season of that drops next year. It leads directly to the events of ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (2016).
It is deeper than you think with jedi ranks. If Anakin became a Jedi Master, he could have access to ancient Jedi knowledge which were restricked for non-masters. The access for probable "power" that he was looking for at the time and Palpatine used that.
I don't care, I think Star Wars should be watched starting with Episode I just like George Lucas intended. When you watch I, II, the Clone Wars, III, the Obi-Wan series, Solo, Rebels, and Rogue One, it makes going into Episode IV: A New Hope such a wildly different experience. It's also nice when the story is always moving forward. 'Return of the Jedi' hits SO differently when you've watched Revenge of the Sith first. Star Wars just doesn't need to be watched in any order other than chronological.
That's how I showed my grandfather the series, 1-6 and the extra films/shows in chronological order. Also included the Dooku episodes before Episode 2 for context of the character.
Nah. Certain call backs don't hit as well if you watch them in chronological order, like the entire reveal of Darth Vader in 3. It hits harder to see the tragedy that led to the Galactic civil war after we see how screwed up the galaxy was at that point
@@SpiderPotterFan Going in not knowing is better, rather than just watching a trilogy already knowing everyone gets killed and everything goes to shit.
yoda never said he aint believe in ani he just said they could have been wrong and he would have never let Anakin stay as a jedi if he didn't believe in him cuz he was already to old
To answer the missing pieces in between episodes 3 and 4 you guys need to watch Rogue One: a Star Wars story, the Han Solo movie, the Clone Wars TV show, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the Obi-wan Kenobi live-action TV show.
Point 1 - Grievous' lightsabers are blue and green because they are from his collection of sabers that he's taken from the Jedi he's killed. Point 2 - Palpatine knew about Anakin's dreams because he's the one who planted them in Anakin's mind, same as the dreams he'd had about his mother. Point 3 - Dark side corruption had long ago degenerated his (Palpatine's) flesh. Force obfuscation can be used to hide such corruption. Point 4 - the clones had chips that would force them to obey order 66. Think directive 4 in Robocop. Point 5 - The dark side of the Force has an effect upon one's judgement, often preventing them from rational thought. Point 6 - When Anakin tried to leap over Obi Wan, Obi Wan hit him twice, removing his arm with one stroke and both legs with the other. I couldn't catch which blow came first. Point 7 - Those of us who saw the original trilogy had to wait 15 years for the prequels to come out. These views are subjective. To see the films with these points in mind are how I interpret the events and are not necessarily canon. Except that last one. (Insert picture of me shaking my fist in mock frustration at George).
Just a little easter egg, there’s a lot of symbology with Anakin’s story and the fallen angel Lucifer, who was the most beautiful angel as well as powerful and a great leader amongst his fellow angels. Before falling by his own arrogance and greed to the darkness. If you go on google images and type Anakin fallen angel there is a specific scene where Anakin and the famous painting of the fallen angel are identical. Purposely done by George Lucas.
I never read anywhere that George was trying to symbolize that story. Basically Star wars is about good and evil. If you go evil you can always turn back to good. But turning evil brings great cost with it.
@@moabman6803 I’m not sure if he explicitly said in any interview that he was mirroring a 1 to 1 on Lucifers story but George didn’t have to, since we can see as viewers that the duel on Mustafar there is a scene were Anakin is exactly replicating the famous painting The fallen Angel by Alexandre Cabanel, done on purpose by George Lucas. (Google image Anakin fallen angel if you like) Further more it’s pretty clear how similar the foundations of Anakin’s identity and character ark is to Lucifer with a few other Inspiration’s sprinkled on top. Lucifer was the most powerful Angel, a great leader amongst the Angels, and the most beautiful angel of them all. Now Anakin’s fall had multiple layers to it, but just like Lucifer’s, a large part of his fall to the darkness was due to his arrogance and lust for power.
If you’re looking for a super dope non cartoon movie in between 3 & 4 watch Rogue One. It’d right before a new hope. It has Vader and is about the rebels who stole the original Death Star plans
Anakin was under the impression that his baby died with Padme!!! so he didn’t realise he had children until episode IV, following Luke skim the Death Star surface, that’s when Vader felt the Force connection
He had wondered beforehand: could he do it? Still new to the darkside, would he be able to call on its power to guide his hand and lightsaber? In answer, the darkside had whispered: they are orphans. They are without family or friends. There is nothing that can be done with them. They are better off dead.-Dark Lord Rise Of Darth Vader- Not really an excuse but what went through Vaders mind. Even if Vader allowed them to live where would they go? If taken in by family that's assuming they would find them they would put their family at risk by the Empire for harboring Jedi survivors. If captured by the Empire they would've been experimented on. And their lives would've been a nightmare. And they don't exactly have any survival skills by being raised in the Temple.
@@guiwars2 Yeah, they had an Asperger approach to the training, molding and raising of young Jedi. Their inability to deal with Anakin was at least 50% of why things turned out the way they did. They ruined his mental state just as much as his trauma and head-twisting by Palpatine.
40:16 sin can affect your appearance through actions you take or fail to take: Sins of omission Not doing something that could lead to negative effects on your appearance, if focused the contents of your heart can reflect in your appearance, so Palpatine’s true appearance was made manifest
This is where the jedi screwed up. And this is why Many people say that the jedi were in fact. The bad guys always trying to keep order. Sounds like something that's going on today. Isn't it. But they want to turn order into control. And there is a story about how the sith saved the Galaxy from an even greater threat. And when it comes to war, the lines of good and evil can be come so blurred.
Am I cruel for not really shedding a tear for Anakin? He betrayed everyone he knew. He did all this to himself. I feel like I'd end up like Baylon Skoll with a grudge against Vader
However you have to watch this Epic watch it 456-123 or numerical? Antigone is the last of the Oedipus Trilogy - and it was released first. Like how Pulp Fiction is not chronologically straight. The only benefit of watching 123456 is that it makes Leia’s reveal more poignant. To balance it, this diminishes Vader in ep 5
Edit: the novelization of this movie is actually top notch and is deeper in the section before order 66 but the last Lightsaber fight is 2/3 pages long.
50:01 power wise he is stronger than obi wan, Anakin’s arrogance and anger is what lost him the fight, obi wan is much more calm where as Anakin is more impulsive and rash

General grievous is a cyborg he was once a warrior in his own planet in fact he was a powerful warrior he got the attention of count dooku so count dooku took him as his apprentice b he needed a reason for him hating the Jedi so he planted a bomb on the ship and blew it up were general grievous received a lot of injury’s which he required to have surgery and therefore he turned into a cyborg
The button/control panel they destroyed turned off the forcefields protecting the structures around the lava. After they hit it you see the blue around them go away

24:42 Also “Jedis” is never a thing for them. Usually their plural is “the jedi”. Not a single Star Wars character in any film has ever said “Jedis”. Just saying 28:05 If you watch the animated Clone Wars series (a cartoon show before) then you’ll understand better why Anakin has more trust in Palpatine cuz he’s the father figure. Clone Wars lasted for 3yrs. This film is set on the last year, the end of the Clone Wars. While the animated series shows the rest of pieces of this film 32:27 He collects the Jedi sabers as trophies. He’s no Sith but trained by Count Dooku on how to fight the Jedi. You could say he’s a Jedi hunter although he tends flee often if the battle goes ill & not the type to honor agreements 46:14 Same with many reactors that have said so. Not sure if you noticed but there’s a scene you edited out where he mentioned that the Jedi assassination attempt made him deformed During Padme’s funeral, notice her stomach is bulging. So everyone would think her kid(s) died with her.
Obi was in Anakin's life at 9 and beyond. It's the first 3 years of a child's life that shapes them. Obi (and the Jedi) fked up big time. They treated Anakin like a robot, when in fact he was still alive and feeling emotions like a human.
I don’t know how in a million years Anakin didn’t realise Palpatine was a Sith Lord when he started talking about Darth plagueis and even before that he was giving out hints such as when he talked about the Sith and the Jedi.
To watch the backstory, yes watch clone wars but to watch Vader really in his prime you can watch Rogue One and most definitely Kenobi Series and Ahsoka series
Enjoyed your reaction. Just a heads up, there's a clone wars mini series that came out in 2003 from the same animators that brought Samurai Jack. There's 2 vol, both an hour and a half (3 hours). This series came out before the 3rd movie and showed everything that happened between the second and 3rd movie.
Palpatine no longer needed the battle droids to be operational because everything was staged by him so that he could become chancellor and then declare himself emperor. It started with the trade dispute in Episode 1, causing Padme to call for the ouster of the existing chancellor and continued with the clone war. I don't think it is ever specifically said, but he probably was the one that had the Jedi commission the clone army and erase the planet Kamino from the Jedi archives.
I hate when people watch Star Wars but they aren’t actually watching it 😭 “why is his face like that” *literally after seeing why his face becomes like that* so many people just don’t understand the brilliance of Star Wars on a basic level let alone a deep one. Cinema 🤧
On a societal level, blame TikTok and all of social media for the lack of comprehension and attention span, causing the inability to pay attention for longer than a minute..
In 2005 there wasn’t necessarily an expectation of any more Star Wars movies. There were vague rumors, but the story had also been relatively nicely wrapped up. Rogue One was definitely an exciting return of the franchise to theaters. The rest have mixed opinions as to whether they added to the value or if it would have been better left as is. To your comment about wanting to rewatch Episodes 1,2 and 3 - if you do DEFINITELY watch Rogue One first - it fits in between this movie and the start of episode 1.
42:19 Bro this is a spoiler so don't click if you don't want me to say this out loud Finally, someone who realized this without watching a certain piece of media explaining how the you know whats are relevant here. The way the movie itself made it is interpretative, so no shade on people who thought the clones did this of their own free will, since the movies didn't really develop their relationship beyond "Good man, that Cody." but still I'm impressed.
I don't want to spoil anything, but watching "The Clone Wars" makes Anakin's turn so much easier to understand. As callous as it is, the Jedi really do bring this on themselves. Mace Windu ESPECIALLY is very unlikable and a HUGE reason Anakin has issues with the Council.
the frightening thing is, that political crisis in this movie has become so real, because todays politics in some countrys seems to act in same ways (and the movie is much older). They say they are the good - the other are the bad. But what if those who we fight against are NOT the bad ones because the other sides manipulates so much that people believe in the wrong things? (as Padme Amidala is questioning in the movie). Especially here in germany those who claims to "fight" for keeping the democratic ("Ampel"-coalition) acts more and more often everything but NOT democratic.
The young Jedi on the platform where Senator Organa was is actually George Lucas son! My dad has the action figure from the movie pretty sure is a 3 pack
Not sure if it gives you guys any insight but Anakin was rushing the process to be a master because he thought that in the Jedi archives there was possibly things that could help save padme but were restricted access to only Jedi masters. Or so I’ve been told
It's amazing how, even after almost 20 years, this movie still draws Star Wars fans' attention more than any other. On surface level, it's simple Jedi and Republic = Good, Sith and Sepratists = Bad. But the deeper you look into the prequels (and Clone Wars), the more you see how blurred the line truly is. Palpatine may be a twisted manipulator, but he wasn't really lying when saying the Sith and Jedi were alike or how the Jedi were blinded by arrogance. Even Obi-Wan's line to Anakin is ironic, about how "only a Sith deals in absolutes," which is funny enough, an absolute. People diss the sequels, but i stand by the claim that this movie is a masterpiece.
Just a friendly reminder, Anakin over looked alot of what Palpatine said because like he mentioned, he was a mentor ever since he met when he was a kid. Saw him as a father figure, with Qui Gon being killed

General Grievous is actually a Cyborg not a Droid. In his back story it is explained that he was once a humanoid being. Now he's been augmented with cybernetic parts.
Dude he crossed the line from “Augmentation” into “Replacement” a good long while before the Clone Wars.
2005: Watched this movie on VCD with my family, enjoyed it as a kid.
2024: Still enjoying it as a full-grown adult with memes to enjoy. ;)
He looks like a coward against a main character like Obi-Wan but he's a menace for not being force sensitive
the best star wars movie
This is the best Star Wars movie ever made.
When you said that the guy (Count Dooku) who is fighting both Anakin and Obi is a badass, in real life he was a WW2 vet and a Nazi hunter after the war so yeah he is badass his name is Christopher Lee.
I think he was even knighted right? So his official title is Sir Christopher Lee
He was also an ACTUAL swordsman: Dooku’s fighting style is based on his real-life dueling-focused swordplay.
Before you rewatch a New Hope. you should watch the Kenobi series and then Rogue 1. It will fill in some gaps for you.
Kenobi doesn't fill any gaps.
@@smoothkirito Andor then Rogue One then A New Hope
Anakin's impatience and frustration with the council become so much more understandable after watching TCW
👀👀 this move truly was a masterpiece
It has been heavily Theorized and might even be confirmed in the Novalasation of this movie. But its believed the reason Padma dies is because Lord Sidious aka Palpatine was draining her life in order to keep Anakin alive long enough to get him in the suit. So he was killing her, to keep vader alive.
That doesn't exist, just some dumb fan theory.

-Palpatine specifically says he has no idea how to cheat death yet, Palpatine is not shown using the Force during the operation.
-Palpatine has never had the ability to use the force on people he doesn't even know the location of.
-The novels had Palpatine being anxious during the operation and contemplates just killing Anakin instead, before realizing otherwise once he sees Vader.
-Palpatine had zero knowledge of Padme's involvement and her situation.
-Palpatine's reaction when Vader asked about Padme was the realization that she had been on Mustafar.
-Palpatine used the uncertainty of the situation to make Vader think he killed Padme, finishing the leash.
-The operation symbolized Anakin and Padme dying together and seemingly only Anakin's darkness lived on.
This movie is everything !
it is!!
@@MOONPOPPERS The Jedi actually gave Anakin plenty reason for him to doubt them in the Clone Wars Anakin pretty much did everything the Council told him even when he didn't agree with it and then they still didn't make him a Master in episode 3 when the time came and also they became complacent and very arrogant and did many things especially during the CW that were against the Jedi code and everytime Anakin went to them for help they just brushed him off case in point when Anakin went to Yoda and told him he was having visions of death for someone he cared for Yoda just basically said forget about it just let them go because they become part of the force so be happy about that like come on and then after they deny him being Master they ask him to lie and spy on the one person who is telling him he deserves to be a Master which is Palpatine so if the Jedi hadn't become so lost of their ways during the CW then Palpatine wouldn't have been able to manipulate Anakin so easily I'm not excusing Anakin's actions I'm just saying the Jedi pretty much pushed him right into Palpatine's clutches and he was playing 4d chess so he saw that and used it to his advantage and was able to trick Anakin by dangling the hope that he could help him save Padme and how the Jedi don't trust him which to be fair they really started losing trust in him even after he was doing everything they wanted and after he told Windu Palpatine was in fact the Sith lord they were looking for they STILL didn't trust him so that was basically the last thing Palpatine needed to secure his hold over Anakin and plus him still saying he could help him save Padme but in the end he got Anakin to turn and then Padme died because of it and Anakin didn't kill Padme the 2 theories are that Padme died of a broken heart and the more likely one is that Palpatine drained her life force so Anakin would lose her and then never go back to the light and never turn against him
The obi wan series is the continuation of this episode 3, check it out it's my favorite
i remember watching this movie in the cinema the best star wars movie ever
It literally is explained. Yoda tells Obiwan he will teach him how to become a force ghost lol

Palpatine / Emperor used a Sith magic to affect Anakin's dreams
Yoda vs the Emperor was awesome 😎
Padme straight up lost the will to live and died once she found out she missed the greatest duel of all time because she was unconscious.
Revenge of the sith hits different.
@@SpiderPotterFan I disagree. Enjoy!
@@SpiderPotterFan Going in not knowing is better, rather than just watching a trilogy already knowing everyone gets killed and everything goes to shit.
Imo Revenge is not only one of the best SW movies, but it also shows how the jedi where responsible for their own downfall.

To answer your question why Grievous lightsabers arent red, his lightsabers are ones he's collected from jedi he killed
yoda never said he aint believe in ani he just said they could have been wrong and he would have never let Anakin stay as a jedi if he didn't believe in him cuz he was already to old
To answer the missing pieces in between episodes 3 and 4 you guys need to watch Rogue One: a Star Wars story, the Han Solo movie, the Clone Wars TV show, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the Obi-wan Kenobi live-action TV show.
*Rebels
Except Anakin was redeemed like the apostle Paul and was turned back to the light because of the love he had for his son
Now Anakin’s fall had multiple layers to it, but just like Lucifer’s, a large part of his fall to the darkness was due to his arrogance and lust for power.
you GOTTA do the rest!! Rouge one, Mandalorian & Obi wan.. even if its on your own time!

Anakin wakes up from his nightmare.
Dude reacting: "man he got ripped for this movie"
Girl reacting: "man he is so stressed"
lol
😂😅
Anakin was under the impression that his baby died with Padme!!! so he didn’t realise he had children until episode IV, following Luke skim the Death Star surface, that’s when Vader felt the Force connection
He had wondered beforehand: could he do it? Still new to the darkside, would he be able to call on its power to guide his hand and lightsaber? In answer, the darkside had whispered: they are orphans. They are without family or friends. There is nothing that can be done with them. They are better off dead.-Dark Lord Rise Of Darth Vader-
Not really an excuse but what went through Vaders mind.
Anakin wasnt selfish. He cared about his family.
The Jedi we’re corrupt anyway
@@guiwars2 Yeah, they had an Asperger approach to the training, molding and raising of young Jedi. Their inability to deal with Anakin was at least 50% of why things turned out the way they did. They ruined his mental state just as much as his trauma and head-twisting by Palpatine.

I recommend to watch Kenobi series after these, it starts right from this.
They already commented what series they will watch after this and it won’t be Kenobi

28:05 If you watch the animated Clone Wars series (a cartoon show before) then you’ll understand better why Anakin has more trust in Palpatine cuz he’s the father figure.
Clone Wars lasted for 3yrs. This film is set on the last year, the end of the Clone Wars. While the animated series shows the rest of pieces of this film
32:27 He collects the Jedi sabers as trophies. He’s no Sith but trained by Count Dooku on how to fight the Jedi. You could say he’s a Jedi hunter although he tends flee often if the battle goes ill & not the type to honor agreements
46:14 Same with many reactors that have said so. Not sure if you noticed but there’s a scene you edited out where he mentioned that the Jedi assassination attempt made him deformed
During Padme’s funeral, notice her stomach is bulging.
Reacting to the clone wars series is a must it sets up so much future context for future shows and movies

There’s also a 2008 Clone Wars bro!!!
45:56- feel bad for those clones honestly😢
I found the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ to be a great extension to bridge between this episode and A New Hope. I hope you'll be doing a reaction.
Yikes
Except it's not.
For more Obi-Wan, the Disney+ series takes place between Episode III and Rouge One.
They are not going to watch those! At least not soon! They are going to watch Clone Wars first
I hate when people watch Star Wars but they aren’t actually watching it 😭 “why is his face like that” *literally after seeing why his face becomes like that* so many people just don’t understand the brilliance of Star Wars on a basic level let alone a deep one.

Finally, someone who realized this without watching a certain piece of media explaining how the you know whats are relevant here.
If you wanna continue the story watch 6 episode Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show. It's a direct continuation of this movie.

That was Chewie.
the frightening thing is, that political crisis in this movie has become so real, because todays politics in some countrys seems to act in same ways (and the movie is much older).

Palpatine gave those visions to Anakin to guide him down that path.
That's literally just a theory.
