This movie was INSANE in IMAX 3D. And the first movie that did the portal up to the sky a year before the Avengers came out , which is why I was abit underwhelmed when I first watched the avengers bc I was thinking “i’v seen this done better and more epic” comparing the final battle to this film
To clarify optimus prime trailer transforms into a weapons platform that carries his energon sword axe and ion blaster and shield and it can also transform into his jetpack too
As much as I love this movie, and as much as I deeply respect Leonard Nimoy, I have an eternal beef with Sentinel Prime for killing Ironhide. Side note: I love how Megatron stopped himself from killing Carly when she tells him 'You'll be NOTHING....but Sentinel's bitch." Like he's thinking "Primusdammit, she's right...."
Honestly the 3rd movie was gonna end with Megatron and prime actually fighting sentinel together and towards the end Megatron would surrender and accept his fate but optimus would spare him. INSTEAD the day before the movie came out some idiot leaked a graphic novel that contained an ending of the actual movie SO AT THE LAST MINUTE THE COMPANY PANICKED AND CHANGED THE ENDING TO WHERE PRIME JUST MURDERS SENTINEL AND MEGATRON IN A STUPID MANNER. I swear that was the only reason I hated this ending because the movie comic was so much better 😂 but hey I didn't hate this movie but at least we got 99.9 percent of what was seen in the comic. That ending would've been badass to see in the final cut
For many, including me, the best transform movie of the 5 they released, now in the scene where Sentimel shoots Ironhide it is with a cosmic oxide weapon (an ancient virus from Cybertron) even if it was only a ratchet shot, it would not have been able to cure him. RIP ironhide 29:00 curious fact those giant ships those from marvel copied them from transformers
