I have worn my hair short for most of my life. I have noticed in recent years that many women with long hair are constantly fussing and playing with it. My husband points them out on TV: "She's a hair tosser." Really makes them look anything but BOSS. BTW, my short hair is not too messy in the a.m. because I use a silk or satin pillowcase.

I wear only one piece of make up most days. Usually a bold lip - often Russian Red or Ruby Woo. I haven't worn foundation or BB/CC cream in years, having not found one that I like. At 65 I'm blessed with good skin and a strong brow. Eye shadows don't look good on me any more and my eyeliners tends to wander a bit. So I make a statement with my eyebrows, my glasses and a bold lip. That's it and I'm very comfortable with that. I wear jewellery every day.

Love you but I'm definately not going to stick my face with needles, that just makes me cringe. My routine is easier and more affordable. I'm sticking with an antioxidant serum, Tretinoin, and sunscreen, as my principle products. Some nice and affordable cleansers and moisturizers (and castor oil) are in there too.

Where to begin....... I'm a clothing addict and a shopaholic of ALL things!! My walk-in closet is small and I have SO many clothes, but can't get to them because no room to hang up so gotta go through the GIANT pile and search,which is exhausting!! But, I do like everything I buy and can't get myself to get rid of any.😢

Most people wear their hair for others and have this great fear of disappointing them. Short hair is freedom!! Minimal time styling it, and ALWAYS looks done with very little effort. The drying time is the best and you can wash and go. Also, hats look better with short hair, because you really do see your features better.😊

Yes. If I am going to wear a red lip or eyecatching lip, I do that right after moisturizer and tinted SPF, because I get intense on eyes if lips haven't been done first. Great advice!

Well, I've seen you with longer hair and this cut is SO MUCH better on you! It really suits your features and you look much younger. I've ALWAYS wanted long hair, but it's too thin and doesn't look good when I try to grow it out. I cut it short and never thought I'd like it, but it really is liberating to not have to style it so much, like you do with longer hair. This is the perfect cut for you, abs everything looks great because it all goes with your haircut!!🥰

I’ve tried the wonderskin one, which was good. But honestly, nothing looks as good as lipstick.

I took in a Mama cat, who had three kittens. This was right after I took up crochet and growing house plants. When the kittens started growing I tried to find homes for them. I saw an ad in the paper that a woman wanted a cat. I called her, but she hung up on me when I told her I had kittens. Why wouldn't she want a kitten? Well a week letter the kittens where running around, going totally crazy...and then I knew why she didn't want a kitten. Oh well I fell in love with them all and my home is their forever home. I kept them all.

The thing is, Diane, you are so slip tall and beautiful so you can wear anything and look cute.

I need that gold scarf necklace! We do at least one cruise per year and there’s usually a couple of “fancy dress” evenings. I have a pair of black velvet pants and a black sequin top. It’s ok but black is not my best color - washes me out (have you ever shopped for cocktail type clothes and found much that wasn’t black?). Gold is a good color for me, a bold gold necklace like that one would take that boring outfit up a notch and put some color back in my face. I’m on the hunt now.

Frankly, at 73, I am most myself in jeans and a tee. I love the look of a bold scarf but never mastered adding one. I am going to try putting one in my hair. I love jewelry, maybe I’ll go wild and pile it on. I do try to say something nice to the people I meet in life. I told my husband my goal for 2024 was to compliment every harried looking fast food worker or store clerk I met. It’s been a rewarding experience and I plan to keep it up in 2025.
