You have convinced me on the castor oil! I am 40 and I can see my scalp on the crown of my head, I am going to try to fix this. I had a cyst under my scalp 6 months ago, I went to the dr and we were going to schedule a procedure to remove it. That night I rubbed some castor oil on it, I woke up and the cyst had drained overnight from ONE castor oil application. I’ve really been enjoying your channel 🙏🏻

I was loosing hair like you describe- I stopped hair dye and that helped. Then I started castor oil scalp massage the night before washing my hair. Once a week hair washing was also part of the whole process. The little baby hairs increased significantly. Now I keep caster oil on my bathroom countertop with a pretty plate underneath cause it’s an oil and I’m human. Love it- totally recommend it - organic, hexane free and in a brown glass bottle 🥰🐛🦋🙏🏼

@@zanbuddyay thank you for your comment! I don’t color my hair, haven’t in 5+ years, but I could take way better care of my scalp. I feel motivated to actually do this. I keep thinking how I’m going to do head massages, and I just don’t, and I’m a massage therapist 😂 I love the respect you’re giving to the castor oil, setting it up all pretty. I’m sure that good energy infuses into it!

Wow that's really incredible news about the scalp cyst. I have heard similar things about using Castor oil on cysts in breasts. If you are going to do Castor oil on your scalp for hair loss try adding some rosemary oil in.

From the first second, I saw you weren't wearing any eyebrows and yet you had hair!!!
I whooped so loud I scared my dog (he was sleeping)! (I'll make it up to him with an extra long walk 😊) You must have heard me in Cal all the way from here in Belgium!!! 😂
I'm so so so happy for you!
As far as facial hair growth, I (post-menopausal) have not seen any increase in the peach fuzz. I do have to shave my chin and part of my jawline daily, my upper lip every 2-3 days, but that was the case before I started on castor oil.
I don't know if my eyebrows are thicker because I have Einstein-thick ones anyway. 😉
For me, the benefits of castor oil are amazing, the only downside is that extra stickiness when I use it head to toe, because boy is it thick!
I often get some on my cotton bedsheets, I pre-treat the oily spots with dishwashing liquid before I launder and it takes them out, even in cold water. 👍

Storing a part of the oil for easy access: you can use a clean dry glass jar with a lid with a wide opening, then you can have that in the bathroom and either pick it up with your clean fingers or using a spatula or tiny spoon to get it out for your care routine. I would not leave a metal spoon IN the jar, maybe untreated wood would be fine. Oil has the property to dissolve chemicals. That is why it should never be stored in plastic bottles.
When this small quantity it is used up quickly it will not deteriorate even with the light and the warmer environment. And using the clean fingers is O.K.
The main bottle is kept in the fridge and when you get oil of of it you are mindful of hygiene because a bit of that oil can go into your eyes. (which can be good, there are even eye drops that contain 5 % of so of castor oil. It "greases" the eyes and especially if you have too little fluid that is a good thing).
But of course if the oil gets into your eyes (even small quantities, it should not contain bacteria).
That said: Castor oil is not prone to getting rancid and it is not a good environment for microbes either, if you observe common sense hygiene. It does not have to be sterile, the washed fingers will be fine.
I stored castor oil in a small bottle of dark glass. In the past I did not know it was used for healing and for skincare. BUT a high end shop for leather couches and the like gave me the tip to use castor oil for high quality leather (also for leather acessories). Now of course only smooth leather surfaces, nothing like suede etc.
But for your belt or a sofa, or a bag, and the like it is great. It can be applied using clean hands. I noticed then that it was good for the skin of my hands, but did not figure out that I could use it on a regular base for the dry skin of my hands (especially when doing household chores with water).
Now this bottle got "lost" during a move and I found it in the garage this spring. The oil must have been at least 10 years old, probably older (the leather couch that we had back in the day got the oil treatment once per year only, so it lasted for longer). But I had put the rest of the oil in a small and dark glass bottle and since the diameter was small the oil did not have a lot of contact surface with air (the air inside the bottle, there was of course a lid). It was stored in a cool and rather dark place = garage.
As we do not have that leather couch anymore, and I wanted to use it up - I used it for my feet and my hands, and occasionally the legs and arms - and it was fine. Looked and smelled like new oil. And had the same effect as the new oil.

I started for liver health and to help with growing my eyebrows back. I discovered by using it on my eyelids at night it helps with my dry eyes during the day. My eyebrows are also returning as the tails were almost gone too. My eyelashes are longer, but not noticeably thicker yet. I am 66 for reference. I have noticed extra hair growth on my chin and mustache area where I normally have an issue, but so what. I view this as a minor issue, at least this hair is gray now instead of brown. It is amazing stuff, I will be continuing to use it nightly.

I have used my own oil blends for years to moisturize and treat issues. I recently tried mixing castor oil in with my tried and true face oils after watching some rave reviews on TH-cam. It was Lovely for the first 1-2 days, then my extremely dry sensitive skin started to feel overstimulated and more sensitive, and my dermatitis started to flare. I have yet to find the details on this.
I have light coloured for body, rub over breasts, and belly and all bits at sometime every few days. It seems to be a heal all.

Hi Diana, this is what I found om Google: It is actually not recommended to store Castor Oil in the refrigerator. Excessive heat and moisture can degrade castor oil, so it is recommended to store this in a cool, dry place. A pantry or room shelf is ideal storage, where the temperature is around 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Please give me an answer is this wright or wrong. Thanks!

I have a question about your hair grow out. I’m growing out my hair, too, but I have curly hair. Do you keep cutting the bottom to get the layers out? Or did you not start with many layers? I started with a lot of layers and am having trouble growing them out.

    • @unblahyourself
      @unblahyourself  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yeah I have to keep cutting off the back until it's nearly one length, then I can grow that out, but it does become a bell shape. So I have to be careful to thin out the bottom so the bell doesn't get too crazy. I'm not very good at it so I usually end up just cutting it short again. 😆

I'm no expert but I'd say that hormonal acne is more influenced by what is going on inside you (hormones, sleep, diet) than what you put on it... within reason, of course. I started getting hormonal acne with peri-menopause and found Evening Primrose Oil plus a couple of other skin/hair/nail supplements helped - without changing anything in my skin care regime. I put a lot more moisture on my face now without any breakouts, as losing oestrogen in peri/menopause does cause us to lose hydration everywhere. I drink coconut water for hydration rather than just water - high in electrolytes and potassium.

I just want to say that initially when I tried it I was breaking out and getting Milea. Especially around my eyes. However, Some people have suggested to put a small amount in your hand and then rub it together until it gets a bit hot or warm and then place it on your face. I have been doing this for the past two weeks and I’ve had no break outs. I am still leery of the Eye area however. I just have the slightest amount of my fingers and I lightly tap the area. I also use this really great face wash that really cleans my face well before applying.
