I find that simple insoles help, too. Often the toes of loafers fit well but the vamp is loose. Ill put light insoles, from which Ive cut the toe portion out, to fill the vamp and heel space without compromising wiggle room in the toes.

On the transformable 6x2 roll 1 suits, how many jigger buttons are there? And when only buttoning the very bottom button, do you button only the bottom jigger button? Or both if there are two jiggers?

You need to review the milano fit from suit supply. It's a tad less relax than roma, but more relax than lazio/havana. The main difference with roma would be that shoulders are padded and structured on milano, but a bit less wide (in size 48 it's 46cm for milano vs 48cm for the roma)

I find that this is always an issue with Italian made shoes. I take a size 10 and they are always too wide in the heel but too narrow in the toe area. I've tried the pads under the tongue method with loafers and it doesn't really work so well for me. As I walk it feels as though the shoe is hanging loose in the heel area and my foot repeatedly feels as though it needs to settle into the shoe with each step, annoying to say the least. This is happening all the while the toe area is pinching my toes. Especially with the Gucci bit style. I've had two pairs and eventually had to give them up. It would seem that as many American men have this issue that Italian manufactures would begin producing shoes that are slightly narrower in the heel and slightly wider in the toe. They would sell way more shoes.

Unrelated to the video topic, I really love the one-piece collar shirts that you've been rocking. I just discovered their existence recently and ordered some from Suit Supply. Living in south Florida, I typically prefer an open collar and those look so elegant. Do you have any one-piece collar shits that you can recommend?

I saw the material is 20/80 cashmer /wool that it means is soft/ confortable? I have the shearling coat peackcoat from white private white and i love it but it is 100% wool so heavy and thick so i need to see if this one is different enough to get it. Thank you for your help.

Good video. They are not being dishonest by calling the color camel, but you have to beware of other dishonest practices when shopping. "Vintage camel" is a lie, unless the fabric was made many years ago, aka deadstock. No such thing as a vintage colour. Another marketing dishonesty is, "Wool blend" when in fact the fabric has as little as 20% wool and I've seen as low as 10% and 8% wool. When listing ingredients on food packaging you must list the highest percentage ingredients first which is why you often see more sugar in items than any other food. So your "wool blend" should more honestly say polyester blend or acrylic blend as that is mostly what you are buying. Always look for 100% wool, and sometimes more utility items will have nylon added to make the garment more durable (ie. Darn Tough socks) and is not to cheat you. For example, a now vintage Canadian army wool shirt was 90/10 wool/nylon, then later 80/20 but you knew you were getting mostly a wool shirt and not mostly a nylon shirt.

The boots i got are pretty premium, so for the price they are, i don't feel comfortable modifying them, they're still under warranty so it'll be better if i just return them.

this is really useful and agree they look very similar. your point about seasonality actually convinced me to pick up both trousers so i can have tweak the look since the jacket is a 4 seasoner, but matching the footwear is not something i had considered before

Prologue or Anthology overall for you?

I bought Dr martens loafers and ofc they don’t do half sizes (I use size 9 regularly) and when I bought them I ofc rushed to buy it as they fit well with my foot’s width. Just not the length.. they do say the shoe will stretch so it was a mistake by my side. I can’t return them now since I bought them in NY so this video is the next best thing

Their quality and fits are not consistent at all,their MTM is horrible,their fabrics are hit or miss,the last linen shirts I bought from them was 1 white and 1 blue,the white linen shirt had better heavier fabric and fits okay but the blue linen was bad in fit and horrible in fabric,the blue linen became unwearable after one wash,how can they make the same shirt styles but the white had better fabric than the blue?,I reached out to customer service and they refused to do anything about it,so far I have 2 MTM shirts and 1 blue linen shirt that are unwearable,I have bought a total of 6 shirts from SPIER & MACKAY and 3 of them are unwearable.
