you know might be interesting for your audience, discussion of different fabrics, perhaps high twists since we're approaching summer, fresco vs hopsack vs mock leno p.ex., British vs Italian linens, which fabrics from which mill are good for jacketing, which ones for suiting, which ones for trousers, that kind of thing.
First thanks for sharing this video much appreciated yes indeed I would purchase clothing items from Casa Del Sarto I admire the classic style that their apparel has I will be checking out the items online to see if I find something of interest
Yes, through Andrea Seoul via Instagram chat. The customer service is good though making sure the size is right via the measurement charts would be the most important.
I've been considering both the Ring Jacket and Casa Del Sarto from AndreaSeoul but have had concerns about sizing. Everyone seems to recommend sizing up but the measurements seem pretty similar to stuff I currently have.
RJ'S Balloon fabric sounds interesting, hopsack without scratchiness. I understand Ring Jacket's sizing is very similar to Canali, drop for drop, so to speak, and Canali isn't hard to find OTR to try on.
Hi, So I've been considering to buy from Andrea Seoul but I'm just worried about the sizing. Andrea Seoul tells me I should take my regular size for both Ring Jacket and Casa Del Sarto which is a 48eu, I wear a size 48eu from the armoury. I'm worried about the shoulder sizing for Casa del sarto. Size 50 eu shoulder seems to be too large. Since you're a size 48, do you still recommend sizing up?
They told you to take regular size or is it based on their charts? I know they've told me directly to size up on Casa del S. I'm wearing a 50 in the video. I do feel it is slightly wide in the shoulders but it could also be due to the thick tweed. On my houndstooth, which is a lighter fabric, it fits more closely in a 50. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/FAtzjuBGAxQ/w-d-xo.html. It's a bit risky, TBH, unless you don't mind doing the return if needed. I would usually say go by the chart, but I've gotten conflicting info.
@@gentlemenscholarsclub yes they told me to not size up but I'm a 38/48 usually and the chart measurements looks like I should size up. I am also looking at a thin 4ply fabric, so not sure if this makes a difference in sizing.
for me, these Sarto guys are the most interesting house right now, in love with those lines. You look amazing in this jacket.

It can be tricky, but, ideally, the size chart should be accurate.

Thank you for this review. I'm a fan from afar of a lot of the Asian brands and tailoring houses.
Thanks for watching!

Don't have any. Not fussy about the shoulder. Prefer a structured shoulder.
Fair enough!
