They could even have done one of those time travel dealios where they could have brought then together and have Kirk forget the event when he went back to his own time. Or have had Kirk go out in command of the battle bridge fighting Lursa and Beator's Bird of Prey. Whole host of ways our man James could have gone out alone on the bridge of the Enterprise. Rather than falling down a hill on a bridge.

one big difference between the knight and nosk's vessel mimicry, i think, is that nosk is not *pale*, as the vessels are. its the slightly off-white, cream shade that characters like zote are.

It is my personal favorite series, I didn't know that the majority of Trek fans felt the same way. It's amazing how much of Trek lore came out of this series compared to others.

Correct this was the first Star Trek show with long continuity arcs, but it is Star Trek to the core. This show has some of the best characters in trek for all time in O’Brien, Quark and Garak. And Worf finally got to be something other than a punching bag to show how strong the monster of the week is.

NO. Not the fan favorite. It's not even Star Trek, It's a hash of lousy writing, a complete failure to uphold ANYTHING Trek and an insult to the fans. What a tragic waste of a great cast of actors!

I have three polémon that are about equal favourites for me of them all, koffing, cosmoem and durant. Koffing has interesting concept of being a balloon like creature that stores toxic and flammable gasses, it also representing air pollution is kind of cool, also I think it looks very cute and has a lot of nostalgia to me considering how it was my favourite from the first generation and I saw it in the cartoon so many times because Team Rocket group had one. Cosmoem is cosmic, I think the astronomy and universe related things are very interesting, and I do also like how it is similar to a cocoons insects have and I like that fact too. It just looks magnificent, beautiful and cute. Its the perfect design, its movepool however is sadly not perfect and it being legendary makes it hard to get, especially as shiny which looks great too. It makes me think the difference between blue and red shift. Durant is just an iron ant pokémon, and for me it does not need to be more than that. I like ants, they are one of my favourite animals and durant is a metal ant, its cool and cute in my opinion. What else there would be to say? But every time I do the list about what is my favourite pokémon of each type I am a bit sad, because I can not have gothitelle on the list because cosmoem has exactly the same typing. Also if I say what is my favourite generation 5 pokémon durant takes that place, so that would not work either. Gothitelle is my favourite pokémon after these three I did mention before, black is my favourite colour, the purple is nice too, the pokémon is also connected to space and stars, and predics future from their movements. Gothitelles have seen visions of the end times of universe, how cool and terrifying, also the pokémon itself looks quite beautiful and distinct. My favourite pokémon type is propably bug, because many arthropods are my favourite animals. After gothitelle and gothorita there are many bug types in my favourite pokémon list. Volcarona is my favourite fire type, frosmoth ice type, vikavolt electric type, araquanid water type and ninjask flying type. Also the exploding moth and caterpillar from the second generation are my top favourites, very nice that they reappeared in S/V. All these bug types are very cute in my opinion. I do also like like lileep a lot and glimmora and glimmet and carbink and diancie, very cute, glimmora is my favourite rock type, lileep grass type. Lileep is based on those sea star related animals that have existed for very long, I have seen their fossils in museums many times.

I dont know any of these characters, but you surely are growing some kind of interest in this franchise inside me

I thing Elder Bug refuses to desend because the infection cant get him in dirtmouth or is less strong in dirtmouth so hes safe because hes in dirtmouth and even if it could get him there if he refuses to desend he would probably be abel to refuse the infection to. Also i think its possible the reason everyone else descended was because the infection made them, but if thats the case hes alredy refusing it. For zote i think hes just to delusional to be infected. no matter what hes just going to believe hes briliant. I think he will just ignore it if it isn't about him being brilliant I think hornet is to determined and strong willed for the infection to get to her. If she dosnt think its good for hallownest she wount do it. Also its probably not because shes half higher being because the hollow knight got infected plus if higher being dont get affected by the infection then thay wouldet need the void in them in the first place All the people in dirtmouth are just safe because there in dirtmouth, also talking to other people seems to snap people out of geting infected, so being in a town probobly helps to

Each higher being has an equal and opposite higher being that represents one part of a dichotomy. The Radiance and Grimm are dreams and nightmares, Unn and the White Lady are disordered and orderly growth, the Pale King and (presumably) the Blackwyrm are civilization and anarchy. So fitting with this dichotomy, the Shade Lord and Lifeblood creature represent something equal and opposite as well, and that parallel is likely taking and giving, since fighting void enemies gives no soul, whereas collecting lifeblood gives extra masks at zero cost of soul.

I have one theory! The Broken Vessel was like lord of corruption and it makes aspid nest stable, but after killing him corruption starts looking for new place to live (i mean lightseeds what is pure walking corruption) and it finds a place... Yes, a crossroads.

One thing people are forgetting is that The Radiance came at a time in which the Ancient Civilization had just fallen. The most commonly accepted theory for why they disappeared is that they went and worshipped the void. The Radiance was alone in a world in which bugs had created a society that doomed them and she worked hard to create a new society so that her children would never doom themselves again when suddenly in comes some new guy saying he is going to let people think whatever they want and leaves The Radiance with no one in her life.

The infection is a "blinding light"(think as most insects are lured by light) as long as one is willing to let its false confort blind their conscious they would get infected. It's just a test of will and endurance against a luring and false hope/salvation being offered

I would also like to add that the hunter wrote in his Journal that he too was tempted to accept the power of infection but he rejected it, he says this in the notes he wrote about the Traitor Lord.

I want to point out how Tuk actually DOES get infected. Im not sure what triggers it but you can find his infected body if you go back to find him after a while since you first saw him. I remember finding him dead and wondering what happened.

For the bugs of city, they were so obsessed with geo, that the radiance entered their mind that way, which means 2 things, obsession is an avenue for the infection, and or liking geo a lot doesnt occupy your mind in the right way to resist. My thoughts on the resistance to infection some bugs show is 1. Pure willpower, like bardoon said, the infection is noticeable, meaning they just have to resist, and 2. Complete isolation, like how Eternal Emilita was completely locked away, bugs like dung defender were completely alone in their home, or Salubra seems like she... can't leave if she wanted to. Certain bugs who were sleeping get to me though. Even if we assume dung defender only slept after the loss to us, there's still Jiji, who's sleep should've left them infected, but perhaps like the soul master guessed, soul has some way to stave off the infection, the soul master only got infected because of the obsession with soul, and clearly over a LONG period of time, plus in dream nail dialogue, he's clearly thinking about it a lot, like he's not even just fully infected, maybe he's just trying to keep the other infected out. In any case, there's lots of differing reasons as to why some bugs weren't infected, but I do think it boils mostly down to those two, willpower and seclusion. Likely a mix. Edit for the grubs: there's no proof though that grubs can even *be* infected, since they're scattered about hollownest far and wide, it's possible they can't be infected in the first place, but I think the jars are likely also playing a part. and who knows, maybe the collector as a void being is too. Oh and little fool. It's very possible that he IS infected, as the colosseum shows, the bugs there are infected, but only fight and attack you in the arena, never in the rest area, which could be something special about the colosseum, or it could be they loved to be a gladiator so much they only utilize the infections power there, and keep calm otherwise.

the beasts verses in come wayward souls just have such a presence to them that makes it easily my favorite!! (also i need to rewatch this show again this halloween, thanks for the reminder!)

Hear me out , Ogrim killed broken vessel. Its shell looks like it was broken by a blunt force and I'm assuming that it was ogrim considering his loyalty to the king and the fact that he knew about a vessel other than the light (when his dream nail dialogue reads :"so there were OTHERS?." . plus i think it reaching out once killed could be its last thought when orgim killed in in front of its mother/father .

I always thought that dreamshield came from markoth when he died as he uses it in his fight. maybe it was his final wish to give someone his weapon.
