I have got remarkable Pro now and I used it for 2 days, well its very little time to make a judgement, however I feel Pro has got build quality very well, its large canvas and now with colours, but my basic need to have a paper like writing exp is still far away, I will not rate very hight. I have got Super note normad as well, I seriously feel its much superior product with respect to writing exp and file org. its a personal choice I am still playing with it and will see how it goes.

I recently had an experience with my phone that I'd like to share. While I love my phone, I dropped it from just 50 cm high and it suffered some serious damage. The quality of the finishes seemed really poor, and I even had to resort to gluing a small piece of plastic back on. Despite this, I still believe it's a great phone, but it's quite slow due to the processor. Additionally, the current version of Android 11 doesn't support the native ChatGPT application. I hope these issues will be addressed in the next version because I'm really looking forward to getting it.

To read scientific papers, we need big screens for A4 pages and colours for linear plots. Also, a handwriting capacity is welcomed to take notes on pdf. Android is a plus.

How does this compare to Boox Go 10.3?

There are only two reasons I use an e reader, one is I can load books using an sad card and two, I can read in bright sunlight . I love my iPad mini much and it kicks these colour ink readers into touch . Only the kindle oasis keeps me using ink readers and the lack of updating it with a better battery is a shame .

I have a Supernote. I broke it. So it's being repaired and won't be back for another week (with luck). How does that compare? I like it.. but I feel like it could do with a better menu system. The fact its just been unlocked so you can run apps on it is a gamechanger. I need a decent ereader for it, notes, to-do list, organise all my writing and a bunch of other useful word-based stuff.,

Hello Chalid. Thank you for the video providing your first impressions. I am curious about your thoughts on the security of E-Ink or E-Paper devices? As someone who is new to this, I wasn't sure how to feel about devices without data encryption of some kind on them. The website mentions that the newer device has encrypted on-device data. However, the Remarkable 2 makes no such claims. What are your thoughts and are there any other E-Ink devices that have on device encryption for the data storage so that they require a passcode to decrypt?

200 ppi isn't "not that much higher than 150ppi". It has almost 1.8x the number of pixels. Do you math.

The Libra 2 is still today one of the best e-readers out there....especially for people who mostly read novels and do not need colors. The pageturn-buttons are indeed not the best and the backside-cover could be of better quality. I fully agree with that. But the display is great and the operation as well. I have it since 2 years and bought just a new one for a good price - I don't like the new color-readers.

Just got my Boox Note C in today. It's heavier than my Fold 4!!!

This device looks very appealing and I'd consider it in a heart beat. BUT: the company has ZERO presence in the United States, does not sell the device on Amazon, and practically no other reviewers except Chalid have even considered it. Perhaps like everyone else, they are not aware of the company or its products. In any case, Hannsspree seems to be fixated on Taiwan and the EU only. Too bad, because it really does look appealing.

Why are all of you youtubers lie about those devices??? I bought it and after few hours of using it I can already tell to everyone that e-readers with android under the hood is a complete joke and total mistake. Those devices are useless. Most android apps simply work awfully or not at all. If someone thinks that he/she can download some note taking app and use instead of build in (very poor by the way) app is in a huge mistake. You said that you cannot back to BW screens, I cannot look at this disastrous kaleido3 garbage. I'd love to go back to good BW instead of this grey on grey with grey everything screen. Next battery... oh boy. After 3hrs of use over 50% of battery is gone! My iphone 13 mini is more energy efficient than this device. And overall it is terribly S L O O O O W. It even hang already and rebooted by itself! This is like a total mistake. Why no one tell what user experience is really looking like, no one is showing on the video how the different reading apps are "not working". Example O'reilly app. Just take a look how pathetic it looks on those device. Note taking app is so slow, that even tool menu is unresponsive most of the time. My very old pocketbook 9,7'' is working more fluent and it has more than 10yrs old. Instead YT are showing how YT video are look on those devices. Now I see that there is no single reliable test showing disadvantages of those devices available on YT. And all of the channels related to the e-readers simply don't care to show the truth. Or they don't want to, to not make any vendor angry. Me, I just bought it by my own money and I regret.

I'm into ebooks and pdf editing, so the least lag possible and fast refresh rate... should I wait for the a5 x2 or get this one? I'm still wondering why such devices have hard times handling pdfs... I need the annotations to be saved on the PDF itself in different layers. From the review it seems the Viwoods only saves the annotation as JPEG in a different file. Please clarify if the annotation made can be saved on the PDF itself so that when the file closed and opened back again does it still have the annotations ? Thanks

I tried the RMPP for a few days as well and I really can't get over the writing feel. Since you are literally writing on (structured) glass, it feels very hard and slippery, almost as bad as writing on an iPad. Let's see the (EU) pricing for the upcoming A5X2.

I was wondering whether to upgrade to the next Kindle if it's colour, but my 11th generation is great, and at this point in the technology I don't think it's worth the trade-offs for me. I'll wait and see the reviews of the next Kindle, but this helped me decide. Thank you. 🙏

Seems like the perfect device for me ! Suffering from massive eyestrain, I need the device to be as crisp as possible, with the best contrast, and cannot use the built in frontlight. I used to own a Note 3 and it was pretty good but kinda blurry and the light hurt my eyes. So it did induce some eyestrain. I have a question : using a magnetic cover kinda magnetize and distorts the drawings, ie straight lines. (Less than the rM !). Is it temporary ? I'd rather use a non magnetized folio... Thx !

But no backlight limits it use to daytime of very good indoor lighting

This version has so much more value rather than the normal 2022 kindle. Right now on amazon uk, its only 10 pounds more, yet it comes with a very nice case and accessories. So much more worth it as you can log in as an adult and get the same features.

what about Onyx Boox Note Air 2 Plus in regards of color?
