With what image did you flash with Magisk in order to root the device? Like you, I flashed lineageOS first, and all the guides for rooting provide a Stock Rom boot.image, which I guess would not work once lineageOS is installed? I did not write down the original version of my Stock Rom anyway, so I would additionally not know what Stock boot.image version to chose from anyway.

150 ppi is a joke. Needs 300 ppi like the other Kindles. 150 is not sharp enough.

Terrible and irresponsible recommendation…Kindle Scribe is not made for titanium nibs. It will cause long term damage to your screen.

Thanks for another great video! For $700 I'll stick with my 12.9" iPad Pro :) I love the way my reMarkable feels but the lack of a backlight really impacts how much I use it. :( Also having tried a couple of e-Ink devices and the ghosting makes me crazy. I've being using OneNote on my iPad Pro and have to say I've been really happy with the overall experience.

in my opinion it's missing two major features: 1- it has to be 6.8 / 6.9 inches. 2- it has to make calls.

I really appreciate that you are the only review who use spectrometers when doing reviews with backlight displays. Sleep has a big impact in my quality of life and having a device that emulates the same nanometers as when the sunsets is helpful for me to continue to do tasks at night while being able to wind down easily

For this home-screen feature itself, i've found the design is to create your own homescreen using the links. you have a note that you can reach by quick-access and you put on it drawings/words/whatever you want and link those to your other notes. Essentially creating a nested home screen/menu ie: homescreen note: have images/words of your main categories (Home, Work, Life, Ideas, etc.) each of those categories link to another note/page within your "homescreen" note that then lists subcategories (work -> to dos, improvement ideas, memos, meeting notes) which you could then link to a final page that would contain the notes themselves So the issue isn't as much that it doesn't have a homescreen, it has an extremely customizable interface/homepage. I have several of these between me and my girlfriend. I gravitated towards the bigme. It requires some teaks but after seitching to a minimal launcher and cleaning up some of the srttings but its the most full featured and has the best android Japanese support for it's specific bigme applications.
