I just came across your video. This video is very informative and very encouraging. A question I do have is, if you were to be collecting nickels for the silver, what would you collect. I see.Some coins only have 40% silver. Would that be something worth collecting? QUESTION: How are Morgan and Peace dollars valued when calculating the current value of 90%? (I’m talking about typically old/worn silver dollar coins, not rare or slabbed or kept in collector books.) Are they counted in the same way as the lower-denomination coins (that is, $1.40 face value = 1 oz of silver)?

Why are these a higher premium than eagles? These are like $2.50 more than eagles. That seems crazy.

The problem with constitutional silver, or gold for that matter, is that it can be confiscated, since it is the property of the government. Whereas silver bullion is not subject to confiscation.

I don't think they are good for investing or stacking but nice to have as a novelty. If you think of the artwork as the premium you won't feel disappointed. I think of them as the equivalent of collecting State Spoons or figurines. Nice to look at but most likely you will never get what you paid for them even from another collector. .

If you sell it to LCS they usually give near spot price anyway. 😮

The painted coins are not destroyed. Soak the for three days in acetone and the paint dissolves.

The vast majority of ancient coins are kept raw, not in NGC slabs. Most ancient coin collectors dislike slabs because they prefer to handle their coins. The NGC Ancients division’s target market are US coin collectors “dabbling” in ancient coins, not serious ancient numismatists. In fact, NGC’s website states that they don’t guarantee the authenticity of ancient coins unlike US coins. NGC won’t slab ancient coins that they think are fake, but mistakes do happen occasionally. In the rare case a fake ancient coin was slabbed, NGC won’t held be liable. Thus NGC certification is no excuse for collectors to not practice due diligence and do research on ancient coins. Keep in mind, most major auction houses such as CNG, Leu Numismatik, Savoca sell their ancient coins raw. Heritage is literally one of the only auction houses that offer slabbed ancients. A raw Widows Mite typically retails for a little over 20 bucks, which is less than the cost of grading fees. A common Roman silver Denarius can be had for under 100. Thus it isn’t cost effective to have most ancient coins graded by NGC. I collected US coins for a decade and I’ve been collecting Roman coins for five years

10 ounce bar only if you have dimes for small purchases if not i would get 5 ounces at the most (eagles have five ounces , there awesome)

Why did someone paint the coins. My grandfather gave me a couple in a blue ring box and just placed them to the side. They make no sense colored silver rounds

They say 1 year worth of your salary. Then it's up to you. The reason for that is to pay normal expenses if SHTF. Our if goal is to past it down it's really up to you. Set small goals to reach that big goal.

I would think the Maple Leaf is more secure than the Britannia. Plus it has the MintShield and borders the US

Constitutional Silver is my favorite but I also stack silver rounds, sovereign silver coins such Silver Maples, and 5 and 10oz. Bars.
