Those are beautiful pieces State! I'm a PM Slut... I love AG, AU, PL, PD, some CU for my collection, and when I learned to pour, I made bars of AL, ZN, PD, NI, SS, FE, TI, SN, some other ones. I have bullion/numismatics, US/world, a 1.5 oz "fools gold" nugget as a paper weight on my desk, a 3 oz meteorite (that's how elements came to the planet), gems, crystals, stones, also all kinds of US/world new/old paper currency and US/World stamps. I love it all in my collection! Keep enjoying the hobby and life! Semper Fi!
I didn't like them at first either, I think it's because it looks like a nickel, nobody likes nickels... I have now switched it up and have been stacking them.
For me, it's all about how I feel that day in purchasing Coins or Rounds, when I search the online or at my LCS, which sometimes my LCS sale Rounds under spot, but it has to catch my interest, and I go from there. THE SARGE
I buy regularly and buy what I like. Don’t over paid for premiums. Don’t spend money you can’t afford, just set a budget. You will be surprised in a few years.
I have a mix of different rounds mostly from big bullion dealers from there silver at spot promos. Those would be sold first or melted into cast bars... I like to be diversified. But buying rounds on purpose I go for designs I like usually Scottsdale & Silvertowne. I agree with u buy what u like the most because in the end you are the one who has to be happy with what u own🤘
I buy Mason mint over Scottsdale Mint. For two reasons: they show a good degree of depth in their designs, looking almost high relief and much cheaper premium than Scottsdale Mint. I can get them for .70 over SPOT. Just look up their Mythical and Lost City Series, Frontier Series, Pirate Series, Noah's Ark, Headless Horseman and many others. Scottsdales designs look laser engraved giving it a flat look but the Mason Mint designs look like someone actually carved them in showing noticeable highs and lows ... And yes, I buy rounds over coins...👍🇺🇸
As always Brother great content. I found myself last week I was looking at some of my Buffalo rounds and notice the slight difference in sizes. Anyway have a good week!
@@StatesideStash Is everyone talking about those two guys on the other silver channel that were in that boating accident that lost a whole safe full of gold/silver?
Some rounds are beautiful and impressive - I've collected a few (including Scottsdale). But coins - particularly major sovereign mints - are more recognised and saleable if you are stacking with an eye to resell at some point.
I prefer bars over rounds, but I value security features over design. All that being said to answer your question, Im currently working a 5oz round tube which will house 25 pieces when completed. 😊
Rounds are currently building my base stack, because I can usually find a deal where their premium is low, but right now I think I'm going to switch back to 90%, the premiums there have been great lately.
Me personally I Stack more Rounds than I do Coins mainly cause I am trying to get as much Silver as I can for the cheap, but always enjoy your imput keep on stacking!
Silver has a place for everyone and every purpose. If you’re trying to load up on the most silver you can get closest to spot then you’re doing it right!
I really like getting rounds with the different designs and meanings. Chris Duwane and golden state mint really made everyone up their game. Now you can greet all manner of rounds from zombies to warriors. 👍🏻
Just can’t get into silver buffaloes, although those reverse proofs look great! Love the heck out of gold buffs, tho. 😎. For silver rounds I have to go with the cowboys every time. Recognizable, beautiful and secure. For just sheer weight, I’ll grab some bars….any bars.
@@StatesideStash Scottsdale mints exquisite quality is getting very popular! They’ve been my favorite private mint since I started stacking. @@StatesideStash Brother! Monument Metals is having a sale on the 2006 Proof American gold Buffalo, I’m buying one as I type this because it’s only $24 more than a 2024 business strike!
Another great video from StateSideStash! They all have a spot in my stack... eventually. If I were to be starting to stack today... Oh, wait a sec. I AM REstarting to stack... I would get rounds if I thought that the spot was high, maybe generic bars, too. WHEN silver spot goes down a bit, then I will be looking for coins. When I first started stacking it was all about the rounds. I have since traded all of my generic rounds for gold and now only stack bars and sovereign bullion coins.
I have some rounds, but it's mostly American coinage for me. Silver eagles, gold eagles, Morgan's, and Peace dollars for me, including the newer minted ones. I do have some dimes rosies and mercs.
If i ever decided to buy silver again. Would definitely be bars or rounds. Government coins are not worth a premium to me. Its all the same, 1 oz of Silver. ASE feels like throwing away money.
Problem is....coin shops do not give you any premium for those fancier coins, they almost always will only pay the same that they pay for generic rounds! It is like stabbed coins...you pretty much will not get back what you paid for them at most coin shops!
Alright blood! Update! Scored 14.5 oz of roseys dimes and quarters for free. Bought 8 tubes of 40 % Kennedy's for 35 a tube. SOLD those Kennedy's. Paid for the 90% and a little cash extra.

I have very very few rounds but I do like Scottsdale, Germania and MK barz I think it is... also get some bars but they're usually a poor mold like I have an alien head and a spaceship from Monarch precious metals I think it was... but I get very little... and honestly I would get more if my local coin shops weren't such buttheads about buying them... I would expect at least spot for the stuff but most of the time they take advantage anytime there's like a quick price rise they'll go to Dollars back from the spot on rounds... and sometimes they do the same for Junk silver 😔 SMH.... but it's okay, I like my coins anyway 😂... Tske care boss, I'll be back sometime this winter... been out there hiking and enjoying Mount Rainier before it gets too cold😎✌️ #DCAandCHILL
We really enjoy looking for the different varieties of rounds and laying them and looking at them

I don't know why, but I just can't do the buffalo rounds...
There are more options out there!
They look plain but silver is still silver.
The Buffalo side is cool, but the native caricature on the obverse is so awful that I just can't bring myself to own them.
I am with ypu on the buffalo round. I found a walking liberty half dollar replica 1 oz round at my lcs. Same price as all the other rounds.
