What if we let go of what tells us to go? Lessons from Nature
Urgency is something that comes up a lot as I make space for nature. When I sit with nature I hear the urgent thoughts that tell me to go float away and I am left with the lessons from nature. The lessons of slow. The lessons of gratitude. It reminds us to move with intentions and reconnects us back to the body. Back to this moment right here.

hi, love these and think we could be friends in actual life. for a few years, I would go out into nature to feel with its vulnerability. Have you ever heard of somatic therapy, its sort of a wave in therapy that connects this idea that the body holds trauma. Some aspects are breathing techniques, tapping on concrete/solid structures to reconnect with current moment whilst body-mind can way dissasociate- flicker flight fight catastrophy thoughts. Your videos and your takes seem adjacent to such ideas. I suggest digging directly into somatic therapy. Internet hug and wishing you light!!!

Yup. Mud. Kids love mud. Supporting parents to understand and be ready for muddy kids when they get home, this is a massive win. Supporting children to have appropriate gear so that they don't get too cold. Fun to hear you are in the Pacific Northwest, us too! Maybe we could collaborate. We offer Live Action Role Play programs for ages 8 and up :)

Wow...I mean wow...thank you for this load of positive energy!! I am an ECE and I started my own childcare six years ago and proud to say that for the first time we had a graduation celebration this year. My philosophy in regards of what I believe about children hasn't change, but what I have slowly changed is the environment for my kids. My program is play based inspired by Reggio, Waldorf and Montessori approach. But what you just said about kids spending time in the outdoor makes much more sense to what I have learned by observing them while outdoor. Thank you for this and for the devotion and passion to the children. I am your fan now and definitely following!! --gaby

hi i’m thinking of getting into this line of work, do you think being a preschool teacher is worth it? ( in terms of pay) what requirements do you need for this job? how long did it take you to get them? how did you search for an outdoor school teaching job? would you say that it is better or worse then working in a classroom?

Hey, I just saw your post here. I know you wrote it a year ago, but thought I would offer a thought. Anyone who loves outdoors would always prefer an outdoor experience, and yet, some folks prefer the financial security of being a teacher. So, I recommend working with your outdoor education department of the school system, and develop more ways to play outdoors and offer outdoor education. We would be happy to chat more with you about this.

It helped me to see who I wanted to be and how I could do that. I am sending you some light as you follow your heart and as it leads you on your new path. Change is hard, but there is so much growth from it when we choose ourselves.
