Have you tried for a glass green house.. even if little.. it helps keeps in heat. Also try geothermal climate battery?

You act like you got burned on $70 cost of stoves you would see sold for $500-$700 where I'm at. $70 will get you a rusty oil barrel conversion that might not even work well.

I love the design! Use of thermal blankets would have lowered your heating bills. The thermal blankets seem to work better under another transparent layer to keep snow from blocking you from rolling/pulling over a thermal blanket at night and removing during morning.

Fun place👍 2 questions-Have you heard of or experienced mold/mildew issues with the geothermal pipes because the warm air condenses and deposits water that would settle and stagnate?-------Could you just run an oxygenating air pump during nighttime to lessen electrical demand?

I think I'd plant fruit trees to shade the Northside. Any fruit that drops would roll down. I think it would be difficult to pick vine fruits hanging down and away from you on the trellis. Thanks so much for your videos. I'm in zone 6b also and look forward to building one of these greenhouses soon.

Thankyou for this. If you don't have the electric potato peeler, I have found popping them in the oven at a moderate temp for 12 minutes, helps to soften the out mesocarp skin. Then it is a case of removing by hand. A word of advice, use disposable plastic gloves to do this and a knife as the mesocarp has a sap that oozes into your skin and makes your hands brown ans smelly, which lasts for days. Then do the process as per the video. At the end I roast mine for 40mins in a low oven to really dry them thoroughly. Store in an airtight jar. Check regularly for signs of mould.
