Greeting; I just finished my GHITS build. This will bey first winter. What brand or style of solar stick do you use for the vent? I actually have another full size exhaust fan on my entry room but I'm wondering if I can utilize a stick to open the vents for winter time. Thank-you.
I insulate the wall where vents are located with foam insulation and plastic (taped around the perimeter). Fans would be on the exterior wall if I didn't have the small room which I pull air from when the Fans turn on. It makes sense when you see it in person.
When do you put shade cloth back on, we are in south Dakota and Temps in greenhouse are already in high 90's , do you think the a snow on it would ruin it?
Insane. One of the best geothermal greenhouse i'v ever seen
Amazing. Great idea to have the shop air cool the greenhouse and reverse in the winter!
Nice , need a lounge chair so you can kick back in the heated space in winter .
Agreed! I have 2 in there. Also bluetooth speaker for music and a Pond with a viewing window. Great place to hang out when its cold outside.

Did you paint over the spray on insulation to prevent off gassing of the chemicals in the insulation?
Yes. 2.5 + inches of insulation with a paint cover.
Did you consider, as experiment, using Silver Sun Reflective Mylar Film on the north wall to reflect sun rays?
How do you seal up louvers on end-all in winter, and why fan in the interior wall not the end wall which is typical for most greenhouses
